This was my 4th pair of Arahi's. They had always fit perfectly. Even though I ordered the same size as before, the Arahi 6 do not have the wide toe box and are loose in the heel. Not enough toe room at the end either, which was never a problem with the other 3 pair. Very disappointed.

Nowhere on this website do they mention the risk of calf/Achilles issues caused by the zero drop of these shoes. So incredibly painful and hard rendered these shoes useless for me. I tried gradually easing into them as various running forums suggested, but by the time I figured out the problem, it was too late to return them and now I'm stuck. I'm not at all happy.

I wanted a good pair of shoes for work that wouldn't fall apart in a month, and so far they've held up. They're comfortable now, but breaking them in was kind of painful, if I'm honest. I have a callus on both feet from the edge of the sole rubbing up against them, but once those built up it's made wearing them much easier. If not for the fact that I was in dire need of shoes, I would've returned them in the first week or two because of that. TLDR: These hurt to wear for the first month, but once I broke them in (and vice versa), they're looking to be pretty reliable. Maybe try a different pair though? Just to be safe.

I love the Arahi 5s. My every day shoe. However, the Arahi 6 has less interior volume in the toe box. And also the heel portion of the shoe seems to hit a bit lower, causing ankle slippage. Very disappointed and have to return them.

I loved the Arahi 5s, but I have a wide ball of the foot along with some swelling. Unfortunately HOKA has changed the toe volume and heel of the Arahi shoe, reducing it in the 6. They no longer fit me.

Love the look and weight of these shoes, but they rubbed a huge blister on the bottom of my heel after wearing them for one 3-mile walk. Disappointed that I have to return them.

I have been wearing the Arahi for years and unfortunately they changed the fit and they are smaller in the toe box. I half-sized up and they are much better.

Didn’t have as much cushioning as I’m used to in a Hoka so I returned them and kept the Clifton 8.

Ordered the new Arahi 6 because it was described as having 85% strong arch support, 5% stronger than the Rincon I last purchased. But both the length and the width felt snugger than any Hoka I have worn in past. Usually size 9 fits perfectly with plenty of room in toe box and no problem wearing good socks. Overall appearance is stylish, but the tongue at heel of shoe is not as effective as the woven ribbon loop of past styles. Bought these to wear in charity 5K with my granddaughter. Had I not worn them already, I would be returning.
I'd also recommend:

I use these shoes every day for waking three miles. For all of the room in the toe box one set of toes is a little crushed and I can feel where the padding ends on the other. Great feel over all and do not regret trying. I have many others brands of ultra cushioned shoes but maybe this pair/ brand is not their Queen.

The ariah 6 did not last as long as the ariah 5, after 30 days the ariah 6 hurts my feet and leg as after walking 7,000 steps

I've worn Hokas for several years now. This shoe is larger than normal and too wide. It may be my last pair. Just really not happy with these .

I wanted to try these as trail and street walking/running shoes because they were recommended by a friend. I walk/run everyday 3-5 miles. They started out super comfortable when I put them on and walked around, but I got blisters on my inner/upper heel on both feet the first multi-mile walk. I thought it was just a matter of wearing them in so I gave them a few more tries. I found I can wear them for a short time, maybe 1 or 2 miles, without getting the blisters but they keep coming back if I want to go further. Not returning because I waited too long, and just bought the wrong model/style of shoe. I also have high arches, and my ankles tend towards supination rather than pronation.

Maybe I bought the wrong shoes and should've gone with the Bondi style. I work 12 hour shifts and find that my feet hurt a lot with these shoes. I've never had to buy wide shoes but these were way too narrow. Also, I felt like they were so stiff and found them uncomfortable. Of course after 12 hours wearing them I can't return them, but I'm a bit disappointed. I thought they would be more comfortable.

Very disappointing - I have owned over 25 different pairs of Hokas (mostly Bondi, Arahi, Gaviota, and Clifton) as they are the only shoes I find comfortable after an ankle reconstruction years ago. This season I purchased 3 pairs - the new Bondi (fits great!), the Kawana ( fits okay - but the heel cup is WAY too short and my heel slips out (a first for any pair of Hokas)- so then I tried on the new Arahi ( hot pink- LOVE the color) and my toes hit the end of the shoe and feel scrunched height-wise as well. It's a shame, as I was really excited to get an arahi with the same stability and slightly more cushion.

I ordered the Arahi 6 in wide and just even trying them on, they pinched and poked into both arches of my feet.

Love the color and decided to try something different than my usual Clifton. This has a very short tongue, loose heel, and low cut around the ankle (feels less stable). Love the color but probably won't get this style again!

Compared to other Hokas, I found the Arahi to be uncomfortable -- the ankle support is super-hard, it lacks good arch support, and feels significantly smaller and more narrow. Returned.

I purchased these for work because I am on my feet for 8 hours and needed some great support. The right shoe felt true to size and width however the left shoe felt tighter, the insert was pressing on the lateral part of my foot as well as my arch. I tried to trade out the inserts but that didn't make a difference. Maybe the left shoe is defective? Never had a problem like this with any other pair of shoes I've ordered. Not sure what the issue is but unfortunately I need to return and continue my search for the right shoe.

I wanted to try Hokas due to popularity and perceived foot support. I am greatly disappointed in these. As other reviewers have noted the way the top of the shoe connects to the sole is off and causes rubbing and irritation on my inner arch/heel causing blisters. I have never had this problem with any other shoe. I tried wearing them out for errands instead of running thinking less impact would help, but it didn’t. Same problem every time I wear them. Would not buy Hokas again after this experience for a quite expensive shoe.
