I tried on a pair in a store, which had limited sizes. This was my first time trying Hoka, shoe.. the pair ai tried on seemed to have a softer footbed. A little disappointed. Questionable if I could recommend. Could be the wrong shoe for walking.

I love the fit and the color, but the SQUEAK when I walk???? What's up with that!!! Anyone else notice that out of the box these shoes are obnoxiously loud... Does this go away with a few walks? If not they will be going back for sure.

Cons: They feel about a half size too big (which is hard when you already wear the smallest size offered). Also, the tongue feels short and really hurts the top of my foot after only a couple hours of use unless I tie them loosely. I bought them to work 12hr shifts, but have to take them off at least once to let my feet rest a few minutes (mostly due to the compression I get on the top of my feet)
Pros: Overall for the first few hours of wear they are comfortable and soft while allowing me to be quick on my feet.
Bottom line: Comfortable enough to wear until I can find another pair of shoes, though with the cons listed above and how expensive they were my rating is only 3 stars. I have heard so many good things about Hoka's though, maybe this just wasn't the shoe for me!

I love hokas, but this style wasn't for me. I usually wear the Clifton 8's but went to fleet feet and they told me this kind is best for my feet. I ordered the same size I usually wear in the Clifton's, an 8, but they were too tight. I ordered an 8.5 and still, they were too tight. So I opted for another pair of Clifton 8's and I'm happy! Just a little sad they had limited selections in the colors I wanted.

I've worn HOKA Arahi for years and it has been my go-to running shoe. However, they keep changing the fit! This model slides off my heels at the back of my foot. The shoe does not cup or capture at the heal of the foot, which is extremely uncomfortable and creates a lot of movement. Please stop manufacturing these elsewhere or messing with the fit and design of these shoes! So disappointing.

I am on my feet most of the day with my job. I recently had an injection in foot for plantar fasciatis. I thought these shoes would make the pain better or go away. But they haven't. In the past I have ordered fit flops and they helped tremendously. Nice looking shoes but haven't helped with pain.

I bought these for work. I spend of my day on my feet. I have flat feet but especially on my right foot. I'm usually a 9.5, but I read read the other reviews and decided to get a 10 wide. The Arch is a little too high for me and my feet after an hour or 2 of work.

I really liked the design but they're just too narrow for my foot and ended up hurting my feet.

Shoes could use extra cushioned soles for shock absorption. My feet are numb after walking two miles. Shoes are lightweight unlike my Brooks ghost shoes.

I have been wearing Hoka Arahi sneakers for quite some time and in the past I was able to get 6-7 months of wearing them everyday to walk and to work (podiatrist) but the last 2 pairs I have gotten have lasted no longer then 3 months. The heel counter wears down and the traction is lost pretty quickly. I am not wearing them any differently or putting more mileage then in the last. I even tie and untie my sneakers to put them on and take them off. Very disappointed in the loss of quality in the material.

They are okay wearing here and there if you are not going to be on your feet for 13 hours a day, but if you are and you require an actual wide shoe you may need something a little different.

This shoe was beautiful but after wearing just one day I had blisters on the side of both heels. They seem to be very narrow in the heel area. I was extremely disappointed after spending over $100 on a pair of sneakers and getting just one use out of them.

I have quite a few pairs of Hokas and was in need of a wide pair to wear daily due to my Morton's Neuroma. Unfortunately, the Arahi is not as wide as the Clifton, Speedgoat or Bondi. I was very disappointed and wish I had not paid for expedited shipping. I will have to stick to Bondis and Speedgoats, which is not easy since most of the colors offered don't match very well with anything.

I wanted these to work as I was looking forward to trying a new brand of shoes for myself. I am a 7 in most shoes which is what I ordered, these were hard to get on even with thin socks. And about 5 minutes into my workout I realized that they were actually making my foot hurt. I liked the colors of the shoes and the way that they looked from the top (I am strange). Sending them back and getting something else. And not ever ordering this brand again.

Decently comfortable shoe, but stiffer than advertised. Not enough arch support for my flat feet. Will be going back to my nike zooms.

This item came with two different sized insoles, I don't know how that happens, but it happened to me twice, once from another manufacturer, and now this pair from Zappos. Returning, reordering hope the next pair is correct.

I love Hoka! I usually buy the Bondi but wanted to try a different model so decided on the Arahi 6. Love the color! But they are too narrow for me so I am unable to run in them. I could probably tolerate for shorter runs but anything over 3 miles they aren't comfortable. Definitely will stick to Bondi.

My latest pair definitely isn't as comfortable as my last two pairs. I would love to exchange for a different pair of the same shoes

I got these as everyday walking/kick around shoes. I have a pair of Bondi 7s which I use only for walking and there is a difference. The Arahi 6 aren't as cushy and are uncomfortable after standing or walking for extended periods. I took them on vacation recently and I had to take them off in the car after being on them for a while. The support doesn't feel as firm as the Bondi 7.
Based on the reviews I thought this would have been a great companion choice for the Bondi 7. To me, they are just a tiny step above the Nike brand. They do not cause excessive heel pain, but my knees and back will ache after some time. Not as bad as the Nikes but enough to warrant a break.
I'll take these over Nike, but would not purchase again.
