These sneakers felt great when I first put them on. My podiatrist recommended I get Hoka sneakers because of arthritis pain in my feet. But after a fairly short time, they started pinching the sore spots! I can wear them, but not for very long. So, not a great success for me.

They look nice but seem to run about a 1/2 size large for me. I also need a shoe with more support for my old feet. So, back they will go.

I wanted to love these shoes but I just don't. I bought these in hopes they'd help with overall foot pain and what I think is plantar fasciitis. Arahi 6 was the one I found after a little research and the one recommended to me after the little test on Hoka's website. I was told there was a decent "break-in period" so I've worn them every day since I got them and feel like I've given them a very fair try and my feet are in SO much pain, more than before. I put Crocs on at home for relief. The shoes are beautiful and great quality but I guess they weren't made for my feet. I'll likely return them if it's not too late :(

These seem like great shoes, they are just a bit too snug for me. I'm more used to altra runnings shoes with a good sized toe box. These really hug my feet and it leaves them cramped. I should've maybe gone with a wider size and definitely a style with more cushion. My feet are sore all day. Willing to try again but maybe not until I can try them on in person.

I'm posting this for other folks looking for an orthopedic-friendly Hoka shoe.I got the Arahi shoes because the Bondi shoes I have are so wide and large, like a video game character haha. I wanted a slimmer looking shoe that was more "normal looking" to help with my plantar fasciitis issues. But I definitely need the support Bondi offers. The Arahi really hurt my feet. Back to Bondi I go.

The shoe is very bulky and the sole edge is very white where the photo showed a grey color. I want to wear the shoes in colder weather & prefer a darker edged sole. Especially with a black shoe. The sole sticks out beyond the back of the shoe making the shoes look huge. I don't like the look at all. I will continue to search and find Zappos to be a very customer friendly store. Thank you Zappos.

This is my second time purchasing the same make of shoe. This time the left shoe seems uneven. My ankle is just not comfortable in the shoe and I force myself to walk in them.

My shoes came fast but they run big. I ordered my normal size and i would return them for a smaller size but i don't have the energy. other than that, they're still comfy.

The toe box was already crinkled when I put them on. That usually doesn’t happen until after you wear them a few months. I was very disappointed in Hoka!!

After purchasing many pairs of Hoka Arahi, I'm disappointed with this last pair. It seems the shoes are getting narrower, even though I ordered a wide. They also squeak. Not the level of craftmanship I've experienced in the past.

Love Hoka shoes but this style ran half size smaller and narrow. Returned for half size bigger, increased width and the fit is perfect! Hopefully many miles to come on these!!

Thick sole, THEY RUN SMALL! They're very narrow. My usual size is 8.5 and my toe was at the top of the shoe

Purchased for the "support", however my feet felt squeezed by the hard sole and the arch support did not line up correctly in my case.

The shopping and shipping experience was the best although I was not impressed by their shoes they were so pretty just what I was thinking they would be but I'm a woman who walks more then 30,000 steps a day so I need some support and at the same time confines. I wore my shoes 1 week by the second day I started to feel a horrible pain in my ankles and my right heel! I've been using Merrel for years and never never had any issues but they don't last 3 good months so someone told me these shoes will last 1 year that's why I bought them! I don't think I can handle another day with them it was really disappointing to waste my money and my hopes on this shoes. Thank you Hoka anyways!

I love the overall look of this show however I was slightly disappointed in the lack of arch support. Lately I have tried a few different styles and they appear to either have too much or not enough arch support. I'm still hopeful to find the one that falls right in the middle!

There was friction at the top of my foot so after trying these shoes inside the house for a week, I am sadly having to return them.

I purchased this shoe in black from a local retailer, but they didn't have it in the light blue. So I ordered the same shoe, same size, in blue directly from Hoka. However, the 2 shoes are different even though they should be the same. I was having difficulty tying the blue shoes ordered from Hoka because I had a hard time getting the laces over the tongue. The tongue seemed too short. Then, I realized I did not have that problem with the black shoes purchased locally. I put one of each on my feet and then I could see a big difference in tongue length. I called Hoka, but the person I talked to said the problem was probably with the retailer shoe, not the one purchased online from Hoka. I'm not sure he even believed the two shoes were the same model and size; he thought the one from the retailer had to be a different model because they should be the same. I don't think he believed there was actually a problem with the tongue length. So I told him I would not be buying any shoes online again. But he said I should only buy online directly from Hoka; the shoe I bought at a retailer (which I like much better) is probably incorrect. Buying at the retailer I'll be able to see if there is a problem with the tongue. Even looking at the photo of this shoe I can see mine do not have as long a tongue. So I would recommend the shoe, but would suggest purchasing at a retailer so you can see what you're getting.
