Purchased these with a little concern they wouldn't be as cushy as my plusher soled Bondi 8s as the sole is thinner and my Superfeet inserts are little rigid to help my plantar fasciiitis. Well, they are are just as comfortable and stable! No break in period with a perfect fit for my wide feet. My feet felt great after my 12 hours shifts at the hospital.

I'm a nurse working in a busy surgery center and wear my Hoka's every time I work. They're very comfortable shoes for being on your feet all day.

I won these and can't exchange them. My other Hokas are a 7.5 so I ordered a 7.5. My other Hokas have a big toe box and feel big. These ones seem to fit well until you walk or run in them. Once you do that your toes rub against the front and they are impossible to wear.

Background, I work on my feet, I walk to work. I have metal plates and pins in my right ankle, they have been there since I was a teenager. I was recently diagnosed with Mueller Weiss syndrome. I have previously worn the Bondi with a lot of comfort, but recently as my foot condition has worsened, and my arch is starting to fall, I still need a supportive shoe, I need stability, but I needed the arch to be a hair lower. The Arahi, is incredibly stable and the arch feels more comfortable on my feet. The stability track in these is great, I have a tendency to roll my foot when it feels crunchy, but the stability track in the shoe keeps my feet rolling front to back and overall being less painful. I do have to lace my shoes differently to keep the tops of my feet comfortable, and this shoe has a smaller tongue, so with my lacing technique change I need to make sure the tongue is pulled up while I tie my shoes. Overall, this shoe seems to be just what I needed. I took them to my last podiatry appointment, and the podiatrist said they are perfect for my condition.

I have had 2 pairs of the Arahi 5, and loved both of them. I re-ordered not realizing that I got the Arahi 6. Although the size is the same, it is cut smaller on the exterior mid-foot, causing blisters and pain after wearing for over an hour. I have tried to wear them several times, hoping they will break in, but no better. I now can't find the 5 version, as I am sure it has been discontinued. Why fix what isn't broken?

I feel it should be hugging my feet. However, this is my first pair and I wasn't sure if it was supposed to feel that way..

I have been looking for a tennis shoe that does not hurt my feet. I feel like I have tried almost every brand out there, but I continue to have problems with my feet hurting. I ordered HOKA shoes based on a recommendation from someone who was an avid walker that loves them. I have been wearing them for a few weeks now (on casual Fridays at work and on the weekends). I use my own hard arches inside the shoes along with an insert from another brand that has additional arch support. I also wear heavy socks to help cushion my feet. My feet do not hurt when I am wearing these shoes but have begun having pretty bad hip pain in the evenings and overnight after I wear them. Even though I have this problem, I will continue to wear these shoes. I may even try another style to see if I continue to have problems with my hip.

I developed a heel spur. The physical therapist recommended these to me. They are expensive and not the most attractive think sneaker on a raft. But it's fine. Idk if I would invest in another pair.

These shoes hurt your big toe joint ..even as a Wide shoe. Also their shape is very orthopedic looking. Not stylish. If you like shoes that make you look like you have duck feet and then also hurt...give them a try. On the plus side, they are light and cushy

I have a bad foot due to a surgery error cutting a nerve. These shoes are not only exceptionally comfortable but they are a life saver for me. I love wearing them and they extend the time I can walk. Hokas are a bit narrow for me so I chose a wide and they fit well.

About one year ago, I bought a pair of size 7.5 women's Arahi 6 from a brick and mortar store. This year, I bought another pair of Arahi 6, same size but different color, online via the HOKA web site. The new ones are ok, but the interior heel seat is less padded than the first pair I bought. This is not an improvement.

I think I would buy these again if.... they were a little more comfortable. The shoes I bought were for stability and balance. The first time I walked in them both my knees swell horrible. My husband says that my knees don't bow in as much. I also feel more confident that I won't sprain ankles. I'm an older ladies with arthritis and surgery on both feet. I went to a doctor's appointment and she only wears Hokas. My husband surgeon was thinking of getting some. My son just had ankle surgery and he has the hiking shoes. He said I don't know where these shoes been all my life. So my opinion is I would like the stable, balance shoes to be more comfortable.

I got spoiled to the bondi7 and I don't think I will ever find a shoe like that again. I have a lot of foot issues and those got my feet off the floor and still were soft which I needed.

I had back surgery and have nerve damage in my left leg and foot. I tried the Clifton's and they hurt my feet. Then I exchanged for Arahi. They fit but flared up the nerve pain in my left leg and my foot. I waited 3 1/2 weeks for a response about the exchange and now have to wait for a refund.

I love Hoka shoes and have been wearing them for many years. I recently purchased the Arahi 6 for my daily walk that involves several diverse surface and elevation changes. I loved the look and stability of the Arahi, but found that a regular size was quite snug both in the heel and toe box. I was hoping for more arch support and cushioning in the ball of the foot area but trusted the recommendations of the "right shoe for me" test. I have returned them for a wider size to give the shoe finder another chance. The customer service department is excellent. I wish Hoka would offer more neutral colors for those of us that walk and hike trails.

This is my 4th pair of Hoka Irahi. Irahi 3 regular width, Irahi 3 wide width, Irahi 5 wide and this Irahi 6 wide. Fit is good but top of right shoe looks a litttle twisted - it has ripples. Looks a little strange. Otherwise comfortable.

I bought these just to have a pair of shoes to kick around in town. They seem a bit short for a size 9 but are fine. Nice to just walk in with no effort. Everyone likes the wild color!

I got the Gaviota before and they were great. They're starting to get a little worn out because I am postop and my therapist recommended those. I tried to save some money this time and it kind of feels like it. They're OK but they're not as good as the originals.
