I don't take a wide shoe but my Gaviota 2's are wider in the footbed / toe box than these, so I have to return them. As a side note, for you Volunteer fans out there, these are very very close to Volunteer orange.

The overall feel of the shoe is fine. The shoe is tight towards the front of the foot, definitely more so than other models. I haven't tried the fit of the shoe before and this will probably be the only one that I will wear I will go back to a Clifton or something similar.

First time w/this model looks great, but not quite as much soft, foam cushion that I'm used to (for my knees). They do feel good on the run though.

I bought these because they're an awesome shade of ORANGE - hey I'm in Knoxville. Unfortunately, they're a little too narrow in the toe box for me. I wanted to keep them, but just couldn't at this price and fit.

Love the color and they initially felt great. However, the toe box is very narrow for a “D” and they hurt my feet if worn to long. But since I have worn them, Zappos won’t take them back. Don’t really know how you can tell if they will work on your feet if you don’t wear them first but, I guess it’s their rule. I love my other Hoka’s, these are just not nearly wide enough like my other “D” width.

I dont know what it is called but there is no rock in these shoes. i ended up having to work extra to stay forward on my toes. I do have a wider foot so there's that. These are definitely, as they say, for a normal width, narrow foot.
I liked the lock down of the shoe. It just felt very flat against the ground.

Great shoe but is made too big to the previous Mach 4.No longer able to buy Hoka because there is no option for smaller than 7. The 7 is actually a 7.5. I brought into Hoka rep and they agreed. Sad.

This is one of the best shoes I have run in with a great balance of responsiveness and cushioning that is just right for me. Unfortunately, the lack of any durable material on the soles of the shoes means that they are pretty much done for after only 150 miles.

i walk 3.50 miles in these shoes 5 times a week and the soles are already worn down...I love the comfort but the durability is not good...I have only been wearing these shoes since April 25,22...I feel like for the price you should be able t get more wear out of these shoes...
