Everything is good with one exception , when I tie the boot all the way to the top, the laces will come over the top of the tongue. I then must tie the boot again to stop the irritation.

I am a Senior Citizen and have trouble with my right foot and wear orthotics. I walk alot and have to try out several shoes to find a pair that works with my feet. These are great. My only complaint is the tongue could be longer. I have worn them while walking in several inches of snow and the waterproof claim seems to be legit.

Haven't had these long. So far they are good. I have several Hoka tennis shoes that I love. Gave a 4 rating based on fit and comfort. Ask me again after some good hiking trips and I'll tell you more.

The boot I ordered was out of stock but i needed something for winter. The color is differant but boot about the same, feels good. I have to use Hoka because of a heel problem and these work.

These are great boots but they came with different laces on each boot. One so short I could barely tie the boot. The other was 72 inches and matched to boot colors. I am waiting for customer service to help me with this issue

Good support. Light weight. Excellent traction. Kept my feet dry on a wet morning hike through clear cuts. Waiting to see how sturdy they are over several hiking seasons before I give 5 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first put the boot how lightweight and comfortable it is. It feels sturdy as well. I was initially concerned about how durable it would be, but over the weekend walked 10 miles through brush while pheasant hunting and the boots stood up very well. Unfortunately, it rained our second day and walking through the wet grass, weeds and stubble, the boots became saturated leaving my feet soaked. This was without submersing in water or have water over the cuff. Aside from that, the boot was very comfortable and performed well.

Checks all the boxes. I do wish it had more cushioning.

This is my 4th pair. Too bad hoka doesn't always gave the tor ultra hi available otherwise this would ha e been a 5 star review. The biggest improvement hoka could make with this shoe is having a tongue come up higher so that the laces don't go over the tongue. The second thing would be to go back to using the event material instead of gortex cause event dries quicker once water come over the top of the boot

After two hikes some of the flaps/stitching on the top of the shoe are already starting to pull away
and fray.

I love these boots. I have taken several 50 mile backpacking trips in the past and had a pair of boots I loved. These seem to be just as comfortable and much lighter. I would have given a 5 star but the tongue is too short and is slightly uncomfortable at the top of the ankle.

These Hokas have slightly better structural support than typical soft Hoka sneakers or athletic shoes, so they're better for light hiking on uneven terrain, while still having that spongy soft feel for walking on pavement. Stability also comes from having that enormously wide rear sole, which flattens each step and prevents rolling. They're also extremely light.

But I need a double E because my feet are so wide and this product doesn't come in this size.

Just walking around feel great . Just got them. When I go on a hike let you know. I have flat feet , my feet feel great when I take them off, so far.

Nice boot. Good padding all around. They lace up well. Hiking and walking on all terrains very happy. A bit roomy in the four foot but extra sock or thick pair will do. I would like to see more Vibram cover on the sole. Maybe a more durable material where Eva or soft material be less on the sole. So far doing well. Plan to take Sedona Az. See how they hold up. Before Austria, Italy , which pair to take.

One hard 10 mile trail and a couple easy ones in and I like these. They are not as cushiony as, say, Hoka cliftons, but they are comfortable. My complaints would be heel lock in is difficult to achieve, I am really yanking on the laces to do so, which also causes some discomfort due to tightness at the ankle but nothing that causes any blister for me. Also they are a little too long, even considering hiking boots should be big to allow swelling/thick socks, but I don't think a size down would fit me.
Overall they are comfy, seem durable, provide good grip, and provide good enough waterproofing.

Long term fan of Hoka. I have "frankenfeet", need a wide toe box, narrow heel, one foot nearly a half size larger than the other so fit is often an issue. I typically go with an 11.5US or 12US Wide (2E). My Speedgoats and Bondi's are size 12, 2E. These KAHA 2 GTX's are not available in Wide but sometimes I can get by without a "wide". Got a pair of 12's, were a bit tight, exchanged for a 12.5 and these seem to be a winner. So my feeling is that these may run a bit small so upsize at least a half size, particularly if you plan to use a medium or heavy weight sock for hiking. Big fan of the megagrip soles, they typically wear out a bit fast but you are playing the grip vs. wear game. I have a pair of Lowa's which I like but frankly the soles are too hard and grip is not great, particularly in the Pacific Northwest US conditions. So fit seems good, detailed review to come after I get some significant usage on these.

This was a very nice looking boot but can't review this boot further because my husband needed a wide size. Ordering up a half size didn't help

Hiking, second pair I've owned. I noticed that the left shoe is a little tight in the toe on this pair. Hopefully it will stretch a little with use.

As a motorcycle safety RiderCoach, I am on my feet in a hot parking lot from 6 to 12 hours a day. Requirements of the job include wearing over-the-ankle footwear, and I am always prepared for rain, too. Hence, a good quality, lightweight, waterproof, high top sneaker makes the most sense. I had very high hopes for the Hoka Kaha 2 GTX, and wore them for two monthsmore than 150,000 steps according to my fitbit. First, I should say that they are not made for motorcycling, so immediately the upper left toe stitching (where the shifter meets the toe) gave way. No biggie...I was going to add some Gorilla glue there. But the bigger problem was the fit. All would have been well if it were not for a strange narrow high fit in the outter part of the mid-foot. My feet have ached from many different shoes and boots, but never ever in this area before.
It's unfortunate, because everything else about the Kaha 2 GTX met my expectations. They are waterproof, lightweight, and have excellent traction. Even the Harbor Mist/Castle Rock color combo, which matches Harley-Davidson's orange accents perfectly.
By the way, I ended up returning my first pair because it was a half size too small. So I recommend sizing up from your usual size.

I've only had the shoes 2 weeks, but wore them in a non-hiking excursion for several hours as a break-in. The shoes feel great, and I don't believe they needed a break-in period, as they were comfy from the time I first laced them up and that didn't change over 3 days, 3 airports, and some construction site walking.
