I have arthritis and bunions on both feet and these shoes almost completely take all pressure off my toes because of the way the shoes ate rounded in the front. Best shoes ever for problematics feet like mine. Wish they had more shoes in the Extra-Wide version though. Slim pickings there.

I have a lot of problems with my feet, they are flat and they overpronate, my ankles hurt, and I am heavy to top it all. But these are the first shows that I didn't have to use custom inserts. I filled excellent support I like walking on cloud. the size is right and the width aesthetically they are OK.

I am a college coach and have a lawn business on the side. I am literally on my feet all day. This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. It has greatly helped the plantar fasciitis that I've been dealing with for years.

The shoes offers more stability than any other shoes I've owned

These are the best shooed I have ever bough- I have had a torn ligament and planters foot for some time now. Depending on the shoes I was wearing I could not walk. I am getting surgery but had to postpone due to personal obligations, with these shoes I can do my day to day and heavy activities without pain or slowing me down to accomplish them.

I recently purchased the Gavioto 4 sneakers for my work and I wear them every day! It feels like I'm walking on clouds!

These are such excellently made shoes. I'm a very heavy runner (6ft 4in - 300lb) and these keep me going without any pain. Would purchase again

Love the stability. Feel like I'm walking faster and more comfortable and pain free. Really hoping Hoka comes out with a hiking boot with the stable base. Total game changer for me.

The gaviota 4 is a great shoe, very comfortable and excellent stability , I first tried them in a size 13 2e wide and they were too short and the toe box felt narrow and cramped my toes. So I sized up to a 14 2e wide in these shoes and they now feel great on my feet and the width and toe box feels so much better throughout the entire shoe. I have gout in my feet, ankles and knees from time to time , So if you have problem feet like I do, I highly recommend these shoes as I have had no pain with these shoes, Just make sure you size up in these shoes because they run a little on the small / short side. Like I said I am normally a size 13 2e but I had to go up 1 full size in the gaviota 4 for them to work for my feet. So please keep this in mind when you order these shoes online, If you can try them on at a local shoe store it's always best to do so. Yes I highly recommend these shoes folks.

These shoes are great. This was the first time purchasing shoes specifically for flat feet and over pronation. I knew they were the right shoes the moment I put them on, but had to get them in wide. The sole cushioning is really comfortable and appreciated. The heel and arch support is just right compared to a neutral shoe or using an insole. Can't stop wearing them.

I have a few pairs of Hoka shoes. Normally I buy the Bondi. I got the Gaviota because it was more neutral. I normally wear a size 10 1/2 in the Bondi but I had to get a size 11 in the Gaviota. I noticed a few other people mentioned the same thing. In the 10 1/2, my toe was pretty much touching the front of the show thus me going a size larger. Great overall shoe.
