So I took the online advice regarding finding a walking shoe for rough asphalt surfaces from a HOKA rep. Picked out the Arahi 6. First I have to say this shoe is extremely comfortable and true to size. The issue is with all HOKA shoes I have purchased is the soles tear up fast. They use a very soft rubber along with a harder rubber in combination. The areas that are soft shred fast. I went for my first 3 mile walk today and the softer areas show wear. If I continue to walk on rough asphalt the shoe will be history in 3 months. So I now revert back to my New Balance for outside and will use this for the treadmill. I cant afford to buy new shoes ever few months. Overall because of the comfort the shoe gets a 4 out of 5 stars losing a star for durability.

great quality just little to much room in front toe area, I am a 11.5-12 2ee and 12 was too big. Nice shoe and comfortable

I had very high expectation of the Hoka ARAHI 6 shoes. They are a dream going on and the cushion in the sole is unbelievable. The problem is after i wear them about an hour they start to ache on the outside edge of my foot. I can't have a shoe that I can't wear longer than an hour.

My husband's feet get sore. So we were told about Hoka from our son whom is a nurse and had same problems and he loves these shoes. My husband put them on and noticed a huge difference just wearing them for a couple of hours. We did go from a normal width to a wide width and they fit perfectly. We have ordered another pair for our daughter who is now a nurse also.

This is my second pair. So sizing was easy but i opted for teh Arahi after reading the website description. Very comfortable and like them even more than my first pair!

Great shoe for my flat feet. Helps with foot pain.

I purchased them for their comfort and I use them as casual every day shoes. I ordered an11EE but an 11D was sent. This was very disappointing.

I purchased a wide size but still too narrow at the toes

I was able to walk three miles the first day. no chaffing, rubbing, felt like walking on air.. Just plain old comfort. Did not over heat my feet in this Texas heat.(100 Great shoe. Was able to walk three miles the next day in Texas heat of 100+ degree heat.. My feet did not over heat, no rubbing, chaffing. very comfortable. =) Great shoe

I enjoy jogging. I think it is the best overall body exercise. I didn't think I could jog again due to questions about joints and feet. My doctor said he thought I would be able to jog again. My wife said she thought I could if I tried better shoes. I bought some Hoka shoes and I am building up my endurance jogging again.

I have tried nearly every brand of running shoes. From adidas to saucony. I have arthritis and overpronate. The cushioning and the support on the Arahi 6 is perfect for me. My feet and ankles don't hurt. I feel like I could walk for miles. I have purchased 3 different colors in a month. May buy a fourth.

I have no complaints about the shoes. I really enjoy them.

The shoes were a bit snug. I have high arches so they feel snug. I unlaced the top loop and now they feel better. They are light and the soles are beautifully cushioning.

I have narrow, flat feet and I over-pronate, requiring me to use big, chunky orthotics that seriously correct my stance. Even so, I have spent most of my life dreading long walks and never really considered running because I was always experiencing significant foot pain. I finally took the plunge on a pair of Arahi 4s a few years ago and everything changed. They can accommodate my orthotics (which the Gaviotas could not), and provide support like I never had before. Now, I walk or run 5 km at least 5 days a week and can keep a pair going for around 700 km. This is my 5th pair of Arahis in the past 3 years and nothing compares. The 6s are the best yet in terms of support and comfort. Like I said, Arahis changed my life.

I love Hoka! I purchase a new pair every 4-5 months because I suffer from plantar fasciitis. I have narrow feet and I wish there were narrow option for the Arahi lineup!

I am impressed. This shoe is one of the mot comfortable athletic shoes I have worn in some years. I work in the medical field and I am walking for 12 to 16 hours a day, a minimum of 5days a week up to 7 days a week. Having a good, comfortable and light shoe is very important.

I purchased these as walking shoes. I have a severe collapsed arch in one foot. These provide support needed to keep walking.

These shoes are very well made and look great. Just are not comfortable on my feet. Have even tried different insoles. Nothing helps. Was really wanting these to work, just not going to happen.. Thanks.

My work includes a lot of walking and standing. This shoe has helped relieve my knee and foot pain dramatically.
