Very comfortable for walking and standing. But not as comfortable as the Hoka Bondi One on One that I own. Shipping was quick and on time.

I returned the first pair and reordered 1/2 size smaller. I kept these, but I could have gone 1/2 size smaller again. Really run large.

Wear these everyday to work. There are lots of color choices but the colors are a little too bright for me. I would love to see more choices

It's true to size..length wise..but..I wear for usual wide and that's what I ordered. This are on the slim size. It would have been better if I would order a wider size. It feels comfortable, but when you wear them for a couple of hours they are not comfortable any more. I wear them 2 days in the row at work..so now they are used ..I don't know if I even should try to exchange them or just order another pair..bcs they are not cheap. Let's be honest..no complaints, are very good shoes and you get what you pay for..it's just that they are not really working for me. My foot starts hurting after a couple of hours . When you order order the next available wide size just to be on the safe side

I have been an Asics fan for close to 10 years however the last three sets did not ever feel right. I tried the Hoka and immediately felt the difference in cushion and adjustment my soles felt. They were also lighter which is an added benefit.

I use this shoe for my daily walks. The shoe has a good amount of cushion, however the toebox is narrow and rubs a little. I bought the mens sized shoes for the width but that didn't seem to make a difference. I hove bought and returned many Hokas that were B woman's fit. So I would not say that the width is any different from B woman's to D mans. The difference in width is apparent in the heal of the shoe but not toebox. If I was to purchase again, I will need to buy a bigger size to fix the toebox narrowness but the shoe as a whole would be sloppy.

I purchased these shoes for my son who is in the restaurant management business and is on his feet for 10 to 12 hours a day. He said they are game changers as far as how his back, legs, feet and overall body feels after a long day's work. He will be purchasing more.

These shoes are comfortable, and are similar to my well worn "Earth Shoes". My personal problem is that my left foot is slightly larger than my right, and as a result, my left big toe rubs on the top. As I said, this isn't any fault of the shoe, but is a bit of an issue with me.

The build is nice, the colors are nice, but the width is slightly smaller on these shoes, then with the Clifton 8s. Because of this sadly, I will be returning them.
I'm hoping that the Gaviota 5s are closer to the width of the Clifton 8s. I can't get the Clifton 9s because my physical therapist said I need a stable shoe, and the only shoes HOKA has that are stable and come in wide sizes are the Arahi 6 and Gaviota 5.
I hope this helps you determine which shoe you buy.

I always seem to get a blister on my heel with new sneakers and I have been a fan of Hoka Recovery Slides for quite some time so thought I would try their sneakers as the back flared out some. It was a fantastic hunch!! They are so comfortable and I have had not one issue wearing them all week long for my workouts. So happy with them and love the blue green colors!

the narrow size kind of compressing my toes making mae have callus es on my big toes . the padding on the foot bed is good for my arch feet .
the other style hoka are even more tight on the toes part

I've been using this brand for a couple years now and like them. Although they feel secure fit wise, I did order the wide version and find that the inner arch feels a little tight and pinches my foot a bit. Its a little unpleasant while running but once I get home and shower I dont notice long term effects so I guess its working? The previous pair I bought which have worn out from running I wear around for casual shoes but wouldnt wear the new ones for anything other than running (they're a bit too tight).

I have had these about 3 weeks so far and absolutely love them. Very comfortable, they seem to be very well built. As simple as it is, having the heel tab with that little outward arc is genius, makes putting them on easier and not pushing down on the heal cup. So far, definitely worth the price. The shoe runs true to size in length, I ordered 2E (wide) which is my normal in other brands and it's still a tiny bit snug. Will order x-wide for my next pair.

First I'll comment on the good. Very cushioned. Helps correct pronation. Good on road and surpsingly not too bad on trail. Cleans up easy. great laces. Love colors and design. Okay the bad. Ortholite insole sinks down after wearing even when brand new causing the outer rim of shoe to rub heel , arch and when feet expand due to warmth the upper foot. How I fixed it? Changed to EVA insole same thickness, didnt bite anymore and faster energy return and rebound. Okay, the toe box. Fits fine when feet are cool toes are not budded up to mesh, when warm they need more room. I'd like to see on all the Hoka models more natural foot shape in the toe are ie; Altra, Topo etc. The tongue is good cushioned but maybe a little snug great for running, but I use the shoe for walking, maybe a little toomuch padding. Will I buy again, yes because I love the heel drop and cushion. I had Altra before this loved the toe box better but I took too long for my achilles to adapt to zero, I prefer a 5mm drop. Thanks Hoka.

The Arahi 6 are very comfortable and so far so good for durability. This is my second pair, so I will rotate the two pairs that I have and hopefully make them last that much longer. I'm a personal trainer, so having something comfortable and durable is essential for my job. If you normally wear a D width the regular width may be too narrow. I got the wide width and they are fine. I also got a 1/2 size larger than what they recommended. My first pair of HOKA were the Solimar. I thought I got the wide width but they still cramped my feet and I was very disappointed in their durability, as the treads just came apart with a very short period of time.

I was a little concerned that the shoe was too narrow, but it's now just snug and comfortable after a few wearings. They are helping me cope with my plantar fasciitis as well.

Poor SupportGreat Support
They're comfortable shoes for the most part. Very lightweight with good arch support. My only gripe is the toe box is very narrow. Coming from a pair of Altra footshape shoes it's been an adjustment. If I could come up with a pair of shoes that combines the wide toe box of Altra with the support of these Hokas it would be perfect. Alas, I guess I'll just have to get used to them..
I'd also recommend:
Altra, Scarpa, Salomon

Love the Hokas but this pair was a bit small in the fit. Still, a great buy.
