I'm retired, but if had had these shoes, when working in health care, standing, walking most of the day, I could have worked 5more years from a physical stand point. I used another brand as my go to shoe, and they were good, but I wish I had known about Hoka, especially with arthritic knees!!

I was already purchasing expensive running and walking shoes because I'm on my feet all day at work. They were wearing out more quickly than they should and I was also having foot pain. I tried Hokas at the recommendation of a co worker and once I got the right width, my feet felt amazing! I've been wearing them for a few weeks and have felt better than in the last 6 months.

Have had a hard time getting rid of Planter Fasciitis. These shoes have really reduced my inflammation and pain so that it can heal.

Best running shoe I have ever had! I am 6'4 250 lbs and my left foot is a Neutral but my right foot has a high arch and likes pronating inward when I run so on shoes that do not have enough inner rail support it always became uncomfortable and sometimes even led to knee soreness. For years it was a mystery why Neutral shoes never did it for me and now I know why. Hoka Arahi 6 has the stability and arch support I need for my right foot/knee to stay stable and yet is moderate enough so that it maintains/does not interfere with the Neutral gait of my left foot/knee. When trying various shoes in the past it was always that one foot/knee was happy while the other was not, but after trying the Arahi 6 now they are both happy. Proof is that on my first run in them I got farther than any distance on my prior shoes and on the second run I went for double that distance, wow! Am very pleased with this pair and probably will have to add more for my closet. Lastly, regarding size I am a regular 12 shoe size and for this shoe I went up to 12.5 which I believe is common for most runners

I bought these to replace a worn Arahi 4 pair. They fit even better. Note they are true to size for Hoka’s, that is, my previous pair was fitted in an athletic shoe store as 2 E or wide. So, I purchased the same from Zappos for a perfect fit. This in contrast to other athletic brands and street shoes where medium width fit.

Greatest thing about this is that there us elastic under the laces so that I can just slide my feet into them and they grab hold. I can then lace them if I want to walk about with them untied.

Bought my wife a pair of Gaviota 4 and after hearing how much she loves the shoes. I decided to buy myself a pair of Arahi6 and oh boy, was I impressed. These shoes are so comfortable and very nice looking. I wear them all day and my feet don't feel tired at all. I am flat-footed and the cushions on these shoes are an A+ rating.

My first pair of Hoka's and since I need moderate stability/decent cushion I tried these. Right out of the box they felt great (size 12.5) and I noticed an immediate difference on my first run. I am 6'4, 250 lbs and my left foot is a Neutral but my right foot has a higher arch/tendency to overpronate which is why I need moderate stability. I usually get knee soreness if the shoes don't support me correctly and these Arahi 6's had me feeling spry and ready to do another run which means it checked the boxes. Sizing, I am a 12 but wear 12.5's and I felt this sizing differential held up. Glad I found Hoka although it took me a while to decipher all the product language. FYI -Marketing dept needs to make product info clearer and not use such confusing terminology
