Based on a previous purchase of the Arahi 6 I was confident that this pair (different color) would work just as well. I did go with a half size larger as I feel a size 9 (my regular size) was a bit tight. The 9.5 is working out well.

First tried the Hoka Clifton 8 and they were comfortable but still not quiet right. Felt like I was walking in quick sand. Decided to try these Arahi's since they are stability shoes. Wow. These are the best shoes I've ever worn in my life. If your feet pronate, try these shoes. There is quite a bit of cushion on these so if you don't like cushion skip Hokas. But if you have some knee pain, Hokas are amazing and provide a lot of shock absorption and combined with the stability, these are the perfect shoes for me.

It is by far one of the best shoes that I have ever worn. It is very comfortable and pretty responsive.

Best shoes I have ever worn. If you have sore feet and looking for a great shoe, then this shoe is for you. My foot doctor recommended this shoe for me.

My PT recommended a "rocker" type shoe, & the Arahi 6 fit the bill.

Arahi 6 is comfy, could walk a lot in them. For some reason, they seem bulky. I always like a slim fit shoe and these feel pretty heavy and big.
Not an issue for just basic walking/running, but I don't feel agile in them.

struggling with some neuropathy - tried these shoes in a wide to see if that would help
wide might be more towards toe box, I can still feel a squeeze before the heel
so far, so good - still have foot pain but I believe is not related to the shoe
I think everyone is different and you need to try them
got an email asking for a review way too soon after purchase - not liking that part of the experience

First pair of HOKA's that I've owned and it took a little while getting used to the cushiness but now I'm a big fan!!!

A guy i am dating asked if the shoes were orthopedic prescription shoes. I am embarrassed. They look abnormal.
I'd also recommend:
doc martens

I buy a pair of hoka's about every quarter because I walk 4-5 miles a day. I have bought this type of hoka shoe in the past as well, and loved them! This pair doesn't seem to have the same feel...I have only used them 3 days so far, but something seems off.

I bought these shoes through Fleet Feet and they first recommended me to buy size 11, although my street shoes are size 9.5. I ran in them for 30 miles and ended up returning them (caused lots of problems to my feet, ankles and achillies). I ended up exchanging for a size 10, since apparently they run a bit large. And now, I'm stuck with the shoes and after running 40 miles, I don't think it's helping. My blisters get worse in these shoes. And it has to be the shoes because, when I run in my Saucony Endorphin Pro, my blisters do not get worse.
Do you think it's a stability shoe thing? Does this happen to anyone else? I'm scared to try another Hoka for my daily trainer and especially for my race day shoe.

I bought them for work. I have wide feet and the wide option is not wide enough.
The heel feels like it's crushing(squeezing) the inside of my foot.
I can't wear these more than for just 1 work day.
Highly do not recommend.
Very disappointed in my purchase.

I've gone through 2 pairs of Arahi 4's, 1 pair of 5's and now the 6's all between June 2020 to this mornings run! Something is different about the 6's, and that leaves me disappointed!

The interior of the upper heel area is ripping after only 3 weeks of wear. I have had this issue on certain shoes before but never after 3 weeks of use. Usually 6 to 8 months of wear. I love my Hoka's but wish the upper heel area would not rip so easily...

I have used them for walking and jogging. 6 months later, the heel material is gone and I'm up against the plastic for both shoes. The arch support feels cheaply made, but they're priced high. I don't think I'll go with hoka again. I did like the reduced drop.

I have now tried two different sizes in two different model shoes, and they both fit exactly the same way too narrow. This company needs to start making shoes with a wider width and making them to a true width. I have tried another brand and I fit a regular D standard width.

Shoe tore from inside within 2 months of normal wear, inferior material I think, denied my request to refund and blamed me for the tear just after normal wear not even for 3 months, the product is not valued at this price point.

Big fan of Hokas! I have had 7 pairs. And this is my second pair of Arahi 6’s… this pair was on sale and I’m starting to figure out why. My older pair is way more comfortable and I’ve put many more miles on them. The soles of this pair are hard and inflexible from the get go, and when I run the pavement strikes reverberate up my legs to my lower back. I can barely wear them for long walks - a big disappointment and sometimes when things are on sale, there is a reason.
