I love these shoes. I bought them to wear on a cruise for the evening and they are very comfortable as well as stylish. I wear a wide width and these were true to size. They fit great.

Very comfortable, professional looking shoe. This is my second pair just like this. I wore the other almost all summer, with dresses and slacks. My foot is wide at the ball and narrow at the heel. The gusset in the middle, very subtle to the eye, is key to the comfortable fit.

I was delighted to find these shoes in a narrow width. I have not had a chance to wear them for long periods of time, but I love the way they feel and fit. I am older with feet that no longer look great in shoes, but these flatter my feet. My friends think that they are beautiful.

This is a very nice looking shoe with perfect heel height. My big toe hit the top of the shoe on the inside; this may feel worse to me because I'm used to the spacious toe boxes of Dansko and Clarks. I think the shoe is true to size. Sorry to return it, but I know with Zappos selection I'll find what I need!

Not only is it a very good looking shoe, but there is no need to break them in. They feel absolutely good on my big feet and are true to my size 11.

This shoe is so versatile and can be worn with great comfort! It has been a party shoe, a Sunday church shoe, a busy shopping day shoe! It will feel wonderful on your feet and give you the look you desire! I love these trotters because they are stylish and give you the security in your step as well as the comfort you are seeking!

I just received my shoes today, so have not worn them, but was very impressed with the fit and the softness of the leather. I normally wear an 11 AA in a dress shoe but ordered an 11.5 AA as the 11 AA was not available. I considered the 11 B which would accommodate the bunion on my right foot but would probably be too wide for my narrow heels. I found the 11.5 to be the perfect length so they may run a bit short. The fit over the bunion appears to be comfortable due to the softness of the leather and the elastic inset.

These are so comfortable and easy to wear. I've been looking for something that doesn't irritate, and this fits the bill.

Beautiful shoe; however, the W(D) width was not wide enough and felt more like at Med(B).

I bought these same shoes last year in black leather with patent toes. they were so comfy I bought these brown ones to change into from heels for my son's wedding. They were as fabulous as last year! I indicated they are a half size larger than marked only because if you are between sizes like myself, the smaller of the two are a better fit. great quality for the money too. Nordstrom's carry lots of Trotters but Zappos has the bigger variety in styles and in sizes.

I love it - size, width and comfort are great. First time I wore them I wore them all day long.

Very comfortable and nice enough to wear on a Queen Mary transatlantic formal evening! Comfortable with or without hose. Back strap has enough adjustment to grip heel just right. Toe nicely accommodates my clip-on gold shoe ornaments. Heel is just wide enough for stability, no spike heel wobble!

A beautiful shoe, but not enough toe room, and it sags out right after the patent toe - so it ends up looking like a slipper.

Absolutely loved these shoes; however, I found out I can no longer wear closed toes. Arthritis has hit my toes! Will wait until for open toe shoes. You are too kind. Thank you.

This shoe fits like a dream, and looks cute with both pants or a dress. They are also very comfortable for walking and dancing.

I needed a comfortable, basic, dressy shoe, and Dea fits the bill. I can find pretty shoes in my size (12N), but they are rarely comfortable. I truly return more shoes to Zappos than I buy because of my problematic flat feet. I put a thin arch support in these shoes and they were very comfortable from the first time I put them on! Oh, for us girls with long feet, the patent leather across the toe area tends to make the shoe look shorter. Yea! The pair I bought is black leather/patent and is a good, basic shoe for church, work, even wearing with slacks. Think I'll order another in brown suede/Croc.

Well, I tried 3 pairs of shoes for an upcoming wedding before I got it right! I always read the reviews and don't even consider ordering if there aren't any, so thanks to all of you who take the time to write them. These Dea Trotters arrived today & they're just perfect! They fit me (12M) perfectly, have a nice little heel, not too much for this tall 69 year old, and the black suede (with patent croc toe) looks really nice with the black velvet skirt I'll wear with them. I think I'll add a little cushioning under the balls of my feet; they feel like that would add to the comfort level while I dance at the wedding. I don't think the strap will be a problem for me (as some reviewers mentioned) even though my heels are fairly narrow compared to the fronts of my feet. I still have one hole left if I need to tighten them up at some point. All in all I'm very happy with them & with Zappos! Shoe shopping was always an ordeal for me before I discovered you, Zappos -- now it's almost fun. Thank you!

I bought these for a wedding and was comfortable all night. I bought the D (wide) size and they fit perfectly.
