I bought these because I am on my feet all day and have horrible foot pain from plantar fasciitis. Well let me tell you, I didn't know foot pain until I wore these for several hours. They are heavy and stiff and painful. I don't understand how anyone wears these when they're on their feet all day. I would say my pain was 10 times worse after wearing these. Definitely NOT worth the price.

I purchased these solely based on all of the positive reviews. I am in a classroom daily and stand for 6-7 hours per day. I searched for professional nursing shoes and this brand came up. Wow, did these shoes hurt! Putting them on for the first hour was fine, but after that my entire foot ached. By the end of the day, I could barely walk in them. My 8 year old even noticed my altered walking after picking her up from school... it was a horrendous experience and I finally just realized that these Danskos were not going to work for me. So sad. I got to wear them 4 times and received many compliments on the style. I went back to wearing Clark's Cloud Steppers in a low key mary jane style and my feet were fine... even when keeping them on until it was time to go to bed!

These are very stiff and uncomfortable. I'm pretty surprised by all the great reviews. If I had tried them on in store, I would have definitely put them back on the shelf immediately!

Very disappointed in fit. I followed size guide and got what was supposed to be for my 9.5-10 foot but they were way too snug and uncomfortable over instep. Would not have been able to wear with socks either. Also, left one seemed much smaller than right and have never had that problem before. Was looking to replace pair of old wooden Swedish clogs, and think will get a new pair of those (actually have already done it and am happier with them; don't like plastic soles on Dansko). This is not a promoted review and am not member of Zappos rewards program (though they described me as such in previous review).

I've never purchased Dansko before but was excited about these! I ordered the 36 and anticipated a good fit but unfortunately they were extremely large. I would say they were over a size too big and wide.

I had such high hopes for these shoes but was very disappointed. I wear a 9 in everything, but my toe hit the end of the shoe in the 39 and the 40s were ridiculously too big. I'll be sending both pairs back, and try another brand.

I love this pattern, and I was excited to try shoes that could help my plantar fasciitis, but I'm scared I will turn my ankle in these...they are very high soles. Also, one rubbed on my inner foot, even with thick socks.

i bought this Dansko (Prof Silver/blue Tooled Mule) as well as a Pro XP. The Pro XP fits close to perfect while the Professional is tight across the top of my foot and smaller in size. It rubs against the back of my heel when I walk, making it impossible to even try to get used to them. I will return that pair and try a size bigger.

LONG TIME DANSKO FAN -- DISAPPOINTED IN NEWER FIT --I have been wearing these shoes -- Dansko Professional size 38 -- for almost 20 years. I generally have purchased 1 or 2 new pairs each year, retiring 1 or 2 at the same time while keeping 3 or 4 pairs in rotation at any one time. They tend to last for 3 to 5 years before I wear them out. I love these shoes. Over the past three or four years the construction has changed and it is difficult to find a pair where the the collar -- or the padded part of the top of the shoe that crosses the top of your foot -- is not too tight. My older Danskos still fit properly but I can barely get my foot into the newer shoes. I don't think the issue is my foot. Once in a while I find a pair that works. The pair I just ordered from Zappos, sadly, is among the tight group and I am returning them. I love the colors and patterns of the Professional shoes and wish Dansko would loosen the collar to its older measurement.

I am so disappointed! I bought my first pair of Dansko's after hearing rave reviews about them from co-workers. The first pair I ordered were too tight, so I ordered a size up, and they were STILL too tight!!!! I think I may go to a store to get fitted so I can find my exact size. Lovely clog!!!

I chose these shoes after looking for footwear for people on their feet all day. Reviews I read seemed to suggest that these shoes were amazing and would end all foot pain. This may be true for others. I found these shoes as painful to wear all day as 4 inch pointy heels. They were hard and ungiving. I felt like I was wearing cement blocks on my feet. Additionally, the fit was very strange. They are on the narrow side, but did not keep my heels from sliding around or even out. On at least one occasion, the shoe flipped sideways under my foot as I was taking a step, so I'm also docking them for being very unstable. All in all, I was hoping for a comfortable, supportive shoe that would allow me to stay on my feet while reducing foot pain, I got a shoe that is hard as a rock, extremely uncomfortable to wear, and felt dangerous.

The color of blue was too dull and as this is my 4th pair was bit too large. Overall, I did not like the look of this shoe.

I loved the design of these Danskos. I absolutely love my old pair and they are great for wearing anywhere. I noticed that only the generic color professionals came in wide, but I was hoping that I could make these work with regular width. Definitely a bad decision and thus had to return them. I literally had to squeeze my feet into them and took serious effort to take them off. They were a beautiful color and design and Danskos is a great brand and quality shoe but they need to make the prettier designs in wide width for girls with bigger feet. Pretty disappointing, no fault of Zappos!

I ordered these shoes because I am on my feet all day and everyone seems to rave about these shoes. I opened the box and was so excited to have them! Big disappointment! They are extremely heavy, and they are rock hard! I don't recommend them unless you want to walk around with clumps of concrete on your feet. I don't understand the other people who rave about these shoes...but I tried them on in my house and within 1 minute couldn't wait to get them off. Sorry...not for me.

I have worn Dansko shoes for about 15 yrs as I need the arch support. While these shoes are the coolest ones I found, this pair does not have the support I'm used to, especially for the left foot. I wore them 2 days and my plantar fasciitis was raging. I tried a week with inserts but that doesn't leave room to wear socks. Now my feet are cold and going numb from constriction. I will stop wearing the shoes. Your return policy does not allow me to return them so I am out the money and the shoes. Not happy at all.

I really like Dansko but unfortunately the finish on these has worn off after 1 week! I even "Scotch Guarded" them with two coats of spray and fully dried them. the metallic rubs right off. :( Sizing is weird, I am a US 8 and had to order the 39's. They fit great.

I'm so disappointed. I've been wearing Dansko clogs for years and years and the quality just isn't the same. I had these shoes for one week and the textured leather started crumbling off the shoes leaving bald spots. I have no issue with the great arch support these shoes provide but I seriously question the workmanship. This is the third pair of Dansko shoes that I've had to return because they started to fall apart, all three times within months of when they were purchased. I miss the days when Dansko made their shoes in Europe - seems like the quality has suffered considerably now that they manufacture their products in China. This is such a shame but I just can't buy shoes this expensive and have them fall apart. I'm going to give Sanitas a try. You should give serious thought to spending this kind of money for inferior materials before you buy.

I got these shoes last year in that multi-color stripe version. I fell down hard at least five times wearing these shoes to walk my dog around the block. The problem is they have zero sole flexibility. If I stepped on nuts from fall trees, I was immediately thrown off balance and was thrown hard to the ground. A nightmare. Cracked ribs, twisted ankles... I will never buy these shoes again. I gave them a shot and then some; I wound up throwing them into the trash.

Lots of hype, big disappointment -
I generally wear sz. 7 1/2 - 8 1/2 so I started with a 39 - WAY too small, I returned it immediately. Got a 40 - they seemed to fit, so I wore them to work. After a day the top cuff of the shoe had worn a bruise on the top of my foot, on the instep. So I ordered a 41 - the rest of the shoe is even too big, but again the same problem. So now I have two pairs of very uncomfortable, rather expensive shoes that I'm not going to wear to work, which is exactly what I purchased them for.
But the footbed provides excellent support -- after all day on my feet, my back didn't hurt like it normally does with other shoes, but my feet were in agony.

Painful!
I have bought Dansko products in the past and been very happy. This pair, unfortunately, is extremely painful. I bought them for work and cannot wear them. Since I had faith in Dansko, I wore them to work after wearing them around the house for an hour or so. Now, I cannot return them because they've been worn outside, but I also cannot wear them. I am left with a pair of shoes that cost $115 and they are useless to me. I will not buy Dansko products again.

Didn’t work for me -
In order to get them long enough for my size 10.5 feet, I had to get a huge size, and then my feet rattled around in them. Walking slowly around house no prob, but they just don't work because I rarely walk around house slowly! Need to return them.

Dansko too small -
I wear a size 11.5 I bought the Dansko 42 and they were too small my feet hurt really bad the sizing is really wrong. The shoes look very nice but something is not correct.
