I own multiple pairs and this is the only one hat feels small. All the others are the same size. I don't wear them much due to that issues

the color is a lighter / brighter burgundy than appears in photos. the instep is much lower than my all older danskos. i could barely get my foot in these due to my high arches. this was never an issue previously to this extent.

Super cute, but not as comfortable as the Dansko Pro XP. There is a BIG difference. The Pro XP feels like memory foam compared to these. I've never worn these original "professional" ones and didn't even realize there was a difference. They weren't uncomfortable, but why get these when you can have the really comfy ones for $10 more?? You're already spending $140!

These fit perfectly but they really make my plantar fasciitis go crazy! I think it is partly because of the height difference between the heel and the ball of my foot. I really wanted these to work, but they are going back.

I read the reviews and couldn't wait to try this shoe. I ordered my usual size 10.5 (41) and my big toe rubs. Also, the heel is large and my foot slipped out when I walked. I didn't have socks on. I have wide feet and I felt the width to be fine.

This was a beautiful shoe, however I found this style runs short, very short. This is a Christmas present to my daughter who wears a size 11. So I figured a size 42 (11.5 to 12) would do. Nope not at all!!! I wear a size 10 and the shoe fits me. So I have to send it back and look for a size 43. Not many cute colors in stock. But found a pattern that my daughter will like. Thank-you Zappos for quick delivery and easy return!!! I would have rated this shoe all 5 stars, but the fit is way off!!! I prefer the Springstep Burbank or Chino because of the elastic over the instep and they are closer to true size.

Be prepared for irregular sizing. I have an old pair of Danskos in a 37, so that's what I bought, but the fit was too big. I then ordered them in a 36 (in a different color). Much too small. Then I read at the Dansko website that there should be a finger's width between one's heel and the shoe, so I reordered a 37, and this time they fit---the left shoe, that is. It fit like my old Dansko 37's. The right one was noticeably bigger than the left shoe. This pair had been returned by someone because it came with no inserts and was slightly scuffed, but I was not keen on sending them back and possibly getting another pair that was too big. At least I had one shoe that fit, and how many times was I going to drop a package off a the UPS store? What I did was stick a heel pad in the right shoe. It's a little difficult getting my foot in without disturbing the pad, but now the left and right shoe fit similarly. I can also see that they will take some breaking in because of the stiff leather. I'm used to buying shoes that require no break-in period. But I'm counting on growing to like them as much as my old clogs. Someone told me that these shoes are made individually. I think my unmatched pair shouldn't have made it through quality control.

I have tried the Dansko brand and several styles over the years because the reviews are always so favorable. I don't understand their popularity and why women love them so much. The shoes are clunky and heavy and inflexible. The arch support is lacking and the heals are so hard.

Love the design. This is my second order of the same shoe. Tried 37 and 36. Both are very large. Can't go any smaller due to length. Ordered regular width, but seems very wide. Dansko and Sanita are definitely sized different. Sanita seems to fit snugger than Dansko. Back to ordering Sanita for me.

ONE SHOE WAS WAY LARGER THAN THE OTHER. MARKED THE SAME SIZE. DANSKO USUALLY RUN SMALL ON ME, BUT THIS PAIR SEEMED WAY BIG. RETURNING FOR A SMALLER SIZE. THEY LOOK SO CUTE, HOPE THE NEXT SIZE FITS.

I wanted to love these but I must return them They aren't as comfortable as my other Danskos and they fit narrow. The patent looks great though.

I love, love, love Dansko's! Having said that, my normal shoe size is 11W. I've always had to order a 43 in Dansko's, and post-bunion surgery, now a 43W. Because the only Dansko's that are available in 43W are plain brown and plain black, I decided to try the Silver Floral Patent in a 43. When I received it, I could not get my foot into the 43, but I was determined! I had it stretched at my local shoe store, and after a wrestling match, got my bad foot in. I can now hobble around in some VERY cute Dansko's, and hope they will stretch out, because I know how comfortable (AND cute) they will be if they do. Please, Please, Please Zappos, share with Dansko's that tall women with big, wide feet still want cute, sassy clogs. More wide widths please!

Okay, so I'm actually really mad. I got the Professional Felt Pro...and they felt larger than the 42 and very roomy. Okay. I just got these, Medallion, the ones I really want and they are 42 and feel a full size smaller and narrower then even a regular! Of course, there's no 43. What is going on with Dansko!? I used to be able to rely on them for sizes that were true, now they're all over the board. I am really annoyed as well because I was going to choose between the felt pro and these...and now they're both going back and I have nothing to show for it except a bad taste in my mouth. Take some advice, order a size up; if you're a 42, don't bother ordering these, you're gonna end up disappointed.

Very hard to put on. The most pain was to the top of my foot and my heel. I've worn Danskos for about 10 years and have never had a problem before.

I wear operating room scrubs all day and I am an old flower child. I ordered the tie-dye version. I absolutely loved them at first site. However, they scuffed the first day to reveal a cardboard-like material under the scuff. What? That is not quality. When I spend this much for a pair of shoes, they should look good for more than one day. I am going back to good old Crocs. They are rubber and they say that they are rubber. They cost much less and are washable to boot.

These are a very hard and tough patent leather...shiny! The leather did not feel like it would stretch and adapt to my high instep. I could barely get them on, though once I did my heel was loose enough. I'm returning them today.

Ouch! They say Dansko's either work for you or they don't...I got 2 pairs that 'work' so I thought I was a Dansko girl -- got these to run around in for the fall...they hurt my high instep and wide foot so bad I couldn't even get out of the house. Still on the search for a running errands shoe that is cute!

I love the look and fit...only problem is they squeak when you walk down the hall. I ordered a 2nd pair and they squeaked too. Sent them both back, going to try a pair of Sanitas because they are made by the original Dansko shoe designers.

Specifically regarding Peacock leather - the size 38 were much too big. Easily exchanged for a 37, and worried that they were too short in the toe. I did keep them, and I love the color. Great with denim, grey, navy, black. But they somehow aren't quite as comfortable as other Dansko clogs and shoes I have.

Clog - I own many Dansko clogs, but this pair is a little stiff and feel kind of clunky on my feet. The size below was too small and the next size up which I purchased is slightly too big, so I had to put insoles in them.

Didn't fit - This shoe was so tight on my foot. I wear a 7.5, therefore I purchased the 38 (7.5-8). It felt like a size 6.5. I am going to exchange for another type of Dansko. I hope the fit is much better than the Dansko Professional. I will keep you posted.

Smaller Than Sized - The shoes I ordered were size 39 (8.5-9), my usual shoe size is 8.5 so I thought they would be perfect, but they were unusually tight...they felt an entire size too small! They still looked great, but did not fit! Zappos is great about the whole process though and I am definitely going to shop again!

Tight on top of foot - Along the top of the shoe, the band digs into your foot. I even had them stretched by a shoemaker and it didn't help. It seems to be a problem only with the whites. I have other colors that fit correctly.

Handcrafted = it's a crap shoot - You never know what you're going to get with a Dansko. I own a blueberry pair that I love but wanted a black pair because I am a medical student and need to have some to match several different outfit colors and blue just doesn't cut it with black pants. So I ordered the exact same size and style as I currently own, just in a different color. They come and I can't even jam my right foot into the shoe, it is so small. The top part of my foot won't even fit in it. The left foot is fine, however. It is just so annoying to not be able to order Dankos online because they are made so differently from one shoe to the next. God Bless Zappos for being easy to return to, but if Dansko wants to keep their reputation for making great shoes, they need to start injecting some consistency into their production process. I am very annoyed that I have to return them and go get fitted at a shoe store in person... I really don't have time and I would rather just do all my shoe business with Zappos, but since Dansko is so inconsistent with sizing, I have no other choice. My blueberry pair is pretty comfortable, but I wouldn't call it heaven - my KangaROOs, now, those are heaven.
