Has Dansko changed their sizing over the last 10 years? I had my last pair of Danskos for 10 years! Lots of nursing shifts! Finally about a year ago, the back came off of them. I tried other knockoff clogs which are all fine, but never lasted very long. Decided to purchase the tried and true Danskos. But I'm disappointed! I've always worn a size 35 (size 5.5 US), but these are HUGE! I know you're supposed to have some space around the heel, but these were so big I was literally tripping. Will be returning.. Guess I'll have to stick with the knock offs since Dansko's sizing is now all too big!!

I have worn Dankso clogs for ages so I was surprised to get these and find them very, very tight - both in length and width. I'm usually a 42 regular in Dansko (or a 10 1/2 in other brands) but sadly I'll be returning these.

It felt large and the shoe was scuffed; I think they had been worn before. I'm returning for refund.

These felt medium at best, not wide. I could barely get my foot in the shoe. It was cute but I had to send it back.

I ordered the distressed honey in wide. The fit was perfect, but unfortunately the color of the "wood" bottom was practically green, giving them a very ugly overall look. Will likely return for another color.

Although I’ve almost broken my ankle in Danskos, I’m trying them again because they go with everything! I don’t like the “wood” sole. Looks cheap and fake. I love Dansko clogs. Just wish they’d make some with a lower sole.

I ordered the wide because I like a wide toe box. However, the heel was way too wide and made the shoe unwearable. I returned them. I loved the color though and might try these in a regular width. Length was correct and the arch support was good.

I cannot wear thick socks in this pair which I will need as we approach the winter months. Also, my heel came out the shoe higher than I would like for my stability.

Had to order a smaller size than normal. Another reviewer the sizes varied greatly, I also found this to be true. the heel slipped way too much for my needs.

I love the look of this honey distressed professional clog by Dansko, but unfortunately it is not offered in a Narrow Width. I don't know if any Danskos are offered in Narrow. I have a perfectly fitting pair of Sanita clogs in 39 Narrow, oiled professional. I wear a 8.5-9 Narrow in most brands. I ordered a 39 Regular in the Dansko and it was huge. It felt both too long and too wide. I might try a 38 Regular just because I love the honey distressed so much, but I am not optimistic that it will fit my narrow feet. In short, if you have narrow feet, stick with Sanita Narrows. They fit really well.

the style of suede with with white flower on the side is much nicer than the picture. got that shoe. really nice design and the shoe itself is really pretty. comfort typical danko clog support. the lining and sole inside the shoe are cheaply made, construction inside the shoe specially is poor. x-fingers they last. cute shoe and comfy just needs to be made better.

Supposedly people where these shoes for 12 hour nursing shifts, but I wore them around the house for under an hour and they were pretty uncomfortable. This shoe was too tight over the arch of my foot and I think the tightness would be unbearable after wearing them for extended periods of time. Returning.

Bought the Dansko shoes to use in the hospital and clinic I work in because of the good reviews and high recommendations. However, these shoes did not work well for me. They were uncomfortable, hard and had no good cushioning or support.

I was hoping these would be very comfortable for cooking and other use around the house. However, when I tried them on, the top of my foot was uncomfortable right away because the top of the clog dug into the top of my foot. I think it would be very uncomfortable to wear them for any length of time. Back to the drawing board...

I love Dansko I probably have had 10 or 15 pairs over the last 10 years some of them are seven and eight years old and always have been comfortable especially as a nurse wearing these shoes for eight or more hours a day I love them so much I bought some to wear just with my jeans. However the last three pair that I have purchased have been tight across the top of my right foot this has never occurred before and these are shoes that were purchased in the last 3 to 5 years. The one pair so tight I gave them away.It is certainly not a weight issue as I have lost weight not gained weight. I do not know if this is a change in how they are manufactured but I may have to consider buying Sanit‘s instead next time. you really need to go someplace to try the shoes on as opposed to ordering them as the last three pair I purchased I ordered because I could not get them locally.

I love the Dansko shoe line. I purchased the Dansko Women's Professional Honey Distressed clog. The fit was perfect. The improvement I would like to see is this clog made lighter. It is too heavy. I also own the Dansko XP 2.0 clog and it is perfect. The fit is better and it is lighter in weight also. After comparing the 2 different clogs, I would only purchase the XP 2.0 clog. The choice in colors is not great though. The professional clogs has many more colors to choose from but there is a difference in fit and weight of clog. In summary I would rate the XP 2.0 as the most comfortable shoe around hands down. They are the most comfortable pair of clogs I own. I give them a 5 star rating and 2 thumbs up!
I'd also recommend:
Only Dansko's. They are the best for comfort.

I have worn Sanitas for over 20 years, Professional Style. They are being made with a tighter instep, which is painful. So I tried Danskos. Excellent arch, felt great in toe area, but the heel is very wide, on their Professional Style, Regular Width. I know the foot should "slip", as I wear Sanitas. But with The Danskos, I walked out of the shoe. I have contacted Dansko, and they do not have a pad or device to fix this. It's too bad, as I like many of the colors offered by Dansko.

I have no idea, in a quandary right now, to find shoes with high arch support for my flat feet.

This review is for the black nubuck/metallic floral. I wear a size 40in dansko. These were huge. I returned for a 39 and the 39s were narrow and still too long. Disappointed in the fit since wides are not available but the design is very cute.

I loved these clogs. A very colorful beautiful pattern. I typically wear a 12 and thought the 43 would work. But for Danskos to fit properly you need a bit of space in the heal and toe, ordering my actual size did not allow for that bit of extra space. Sadly they don’t come in a larger size for women unless you go to the men’s shoes which don’t have the pretty colors or designs. I wish they would either size for actual appropriate fit or make larger sizes.

These are very nice shoes and I loved the brown color. The problem is that I have arthritis in my feet. I need a solid sole without much flexibility. These fit that bill, but they are so heavy they caused excruciating pain after having them on for a few minutes. Sadly, I had to return them.

Love the color but this was clearly the wrong size as I had ordered my usual size in this same clog in another color and that one fit as expected. I then ordered the next size down and that was too small.

I really loved these. The top was so tight across my foot they had to go back. If you have high arches- these are not for you. I probably could have stretched them but was afraid to damage them. Very sad -super cute style and great support.

Not for me. I'm an emergency room nurse and have been working jobs on my feet for 17 years. This was the second time around that I've tried Dankos out but I cannot work more than one twelve hour day in these shoes, at least not without sitting down throughout my shift. However, any given unpredictable day, I could go several hours without sitting down. I really wanted to make these work because I have known several fellow nurses to swear by them. The bottoms of my feet were tender and the bunionettes near my pinky toes were just dying. The material is just too hard to break in. I gave them a week and couldn't anymore. I would have more comfort wearing flip flops at work.
