I ordered these in a 39 and a 40 as with Dansko's the sizing depends on the style. The 39 was too short and the 40 was too long. The shoe is not a true red, which is what I was looking for. It is more of a wine red. On my home monitor it looked true red. All in all I was disappointed in this Dansko shoe.

I love the leather and wood and wish Dansko would add more sophisticated styles like this and Maria to their line up. I ordered a size 39 because I own a pair of Dansko clogs (similar style) in a 39, however, these shoes were visibly longer. I am sending these back and ordering the Tenley.

I really like these, but getting the right fit was a challenge. In Dansko shoes, I usually take a 40 (9.5-10), but they were small. Tried a 41, left foot fits great, right foot (my bigger foot) is big. Tried a different pair of 40s. Equally small like the first. So I went back to the 41s and decided to make the right foot fit with an insole. They are a beautiful shoe that I look forward to standing in all day long.

Exactly what you'd expect - super supportive and high-quality. I like the oiled black upper and natural sole combo, embraces the crunchy-cute vibe rather than trying to look like something it's not. I'm a half size but am very glad I didn't size up - maybe it's because I have a narrow heel but a size larger would be impossible to walk in. My only really complaint is that the show is extremely slippery on ice. Other than that, a work shoe that looks good, is easy to clean, and lets you run all day without getting dead legs and joints? I'm happy!

This is my 2nd pair of Dansko "clog" style shoes and I love them! They only take a couple of wearings to break them in to my feet and then they are a perfect fit. In addition to a couple of pairs of Dansko sandals, these shoes round out my small shoe wardrobe. I recommend them to anyone who has to spend a lot of time on her feet and prefers the step-in style shoe. The way the heel is covered but "loose" makes them easy to walk in and hard to accidentally walk out of.

Durable and comfortable! Love this look with the wood heel! Zappos is so easy about exhanges too.

I have many pairs of Dansko shoes and these are the first ones that I have to return to go a size up. Love this brand!

This shoe ran smaller than expected. I've had other Dansko shoes so I ordered the same size as I would in the other pairs. This shoe was a bit too snug for my liking.

I love Dansko. I've had back surgery three times and am fused. I'm still having problems above the fusion and these shoes are very comfortable for me. I wear a 9/9 1/2 in most shoes and a 40 in these. I did notice the top feels tighter than my 15 year old size 40's but still comfortable and my foot doesn't slide. I did buy the silver/blue stripe and they are very shiny. My only concern is a small scuff mark on the toe that is noticeable and I m not sure if there is something that might buff that out.

Hoping I'm in the "break in period"...my feet killed me at the end of my 8 hour shift. They are great looking!

I debated for a long time to get Danskos or not, and finally did. I'm glad! They really do wonders for my feet and back. Walking and standing are comfortable and help my posture. I have average to narrow feet and the fit was fine. I like the look of the oiled leather. My only quibble with these is that the 'wood' is actually pretty cheap and fake-looking.

As a size 9 I ordered 9-9.5 or 40 Euro. It's a half size too big. The shoe is stiff and the foot bed hard. This company led the way in comfy work shoes, however, there are other shoes modeled after this design that are much softer. On a good note the design is gorgeous but I need a genuine comfortable shoe for long hours on the feet.

Runs smaller than XP

This runs smaller than the XP - 1/2 to a full size. Typically, I wear danskos for work since they provide great arch support and comfort.

Beautiful clogs! Tried really hard to get them to fit. I wear size 8.5. Ordered size 38 and 39. Neither size fit. Smaller size too small. Larger size too big. Had to return both pairs. These clogs will be difficult to review since I could not wear them.

What?! Why are these shoes a whole size larger than every other Dansko that I have ever worn? It is baffling why their sizing would be so different for this style. I really like the wood look for the base; I wish that they would make a wood base with a black upper; people would eat that up.

I ordered two pairs of Dansko's, one pair in wide that fit perfectly. But this shoe is adorable and doesn't come in wide but I tried it anyway. The left shoe fits, the right shoe doesn't. So out of 4 Dansko shoes... one doesn't fit. (This is the second time this has happened to me.)

Sizing just didn't match up. I have several pairs of Pro XP and they are spot on.. left was short both in the size I usually wear 39 and didn't feel any different in a 40. :( I love the XPs and more consistent fit for me.

Wish that narrow was available in this style. Although the length is right, it's just too loose for me to move around confidently and comfortably. Had this problem with the black tooled as well, it is even more loose than this one. I don't usually wear a narrow shoe. I ordered 3 different Dansko clogs to compare this time. I have loved my oiled leather Dansko clogs (narrow width) that I bought years ago. I've worn them very hard and they are finally falling apart. I'm keeping and trying the Tamara this time. It looks a little more tailored than I wanted but it looks nice and feels more secure on my foot.

These are very supportive and comfortable. They fit like my last pair of Danskos did. I can wear them for 12 hours in the operating room and go home without aching legs and feet!

The toe box in these shoes provides ample room for feet which have very slight bunions. I am in the process of buying my second pair. I typical wear a shoe size 7.5-8, and size 38 fit me perfect. These shoes are versatile, can be worn with jeans or black slacks and great for walking around the city amongst cobble stones and uneven pavement.

I was really surprised at all the people who said this shoe felt like it ran small. I felt the opposite, However, maybe it's more of a width thing for me than a length issue. My feet feel like I'm swimming in this shoe. I've had several Danskos in the past (although never the Dansko Professional series), all size 36--just like this pair. But they fit me and this feels a lot bigger. However, it feels fine when I wear really heavy socks with them. I was thinking of using them as winter shoes, so I may keep them and just wear heavy socks when I wear them. Wearing them around the house to try out until I make a final decision...

Great shoe for nurses who are on their feet all day, if your feet want a rigid support. Gave 4 stars since the in-step feels a bit tight right now...

The most comfortable work shoes with a nice pattern. I'd wanted the solid black professional, but happy with these because they are discreetly patterned, work with everything in my closet, and aren't plain black! I have found the Dansko professional fit differently with each pair tried on. Although my pair is a little short in the toe, I didn't exchange them and now wish I had. Sometimes you need to try a few pair to get just the right fit...it is worth the trouble. FYI.

At first it fits great, but it takes a week or two to break in. My feet hurt after wearing them after 8-12 hours of work a day. After a couple weeks being broken into they are great for work. Just give it some time for them to shape into your feet.
