Great backpack. Lots of interior space in main compartment, and side pockets and front packet make it easy to organize items. Lined top compartment holds phone and associated cables.

This backpack is perfect for everyday life! Holds so much and the colors are tasteful. Love the little compartments in the backpack and it's so comfortable walking around with. 11/10 would buy again!

I took the Continental on a four day business trip out to Portland, Oregon. The versatility it provided was impressive. My trip included business meetings, lots of walking, working from my hotel room, and hikes in and around Multnomah Falls & the Columbia Gorge. It fit well everyplace I took it including the overhead bin of the Boeing 737-800's I flew in and back out on. It held my MacBook, all my clothing, toiletries, a book or two and an extra pair of shoes -with ease. The spindrift collar at the top accommodated the extras I bought on the trip -allowing the pack to become larger when I needed it. I found it extremely comfortable for commuting as well as on the trail. I'm especially impressed by the durable build and thoughtful features like the pass-thru behind the side pockets. I'm sure I will discover more ways of using this pack's features in the future. I'd recommend taking this thing hiking or on a business trip to anyone.

The Continental Ruck fits well, is comfortable and is an excellent entry level option. A few things I would recommend to the LLB design team: larger (fatter) side and front pockets. I am a woman with hands on the small side, and I had trouble getting things in the pockets. The pocket lids also make it hard to open up the pockets to get to what's inside. The clips on the pockets are also too small. The side pockets do fit a 32oz Nalgene bottle (however it's a small struggle), so to everyone that claims the pockets don't fit those bottles, you can stop saying that. Also, adding length to the straps at the bottom of the bag is a HUGE MUST. Otherwise, what's the point. Just stop adding them or put some D rings so people can modify the pack to their own liking. This pack is a five star pack for it's overall design, however I removed one star due to the issues I mentioned above, but most importantly because my pack had a gross stain on its top side the size of half a nickel. Ew. I would still recommend it to a friend. It's comfortable to wear and that means a lot.

Nice backpack. Perfect for a day hike. However, I don't follow the logic behind the side pocket design. They should have stuck to the original design. The straps on the bottom could have been longer. Alternatively, a pair of extensions can be provided that can be used for larger sleeping bags.

Love the look of the backpack and it carries everything I need for a long weekend or for a day trip. Easy access to all pocket is convenient when shopping at a fall fair. Love the backpack and glad I made the purchase.

Well constructed. Untested by Me. Suspension straps are comfortable and well made. Outside pockets are a bit too small. Straps are a bit too short. Able to pack a 3 day 2 night trek with food , water, and " comfort items with some planing to include tent, bag, mat, cooking gear, and clothes. Packed many other usual smaller items. Like the compactness of the bag and sure I'll enjoy it once tested by Me.

Great daily bag. This is the newer redesigned Continental, not the older larger one favored by outdoor enthusiasts. Just be advised this one is no way suitable for outdoor and camping use. It is however one of the better daily/office/edc bags I’ve had. I actually prefer this one over my mystery ranch rip ruck since it is way more comfortable with a load. My only complaint is that the flap design on the 3 exterior pockets degrade the pocket capacity and make it pretty difficult to access the contents.

Excellent back support with ample room. Wish there were zipper-closed compartments for important items like wallets or keys. Otherwise, a great product!

The pack is very roomy. What I don't like is that the buckles are hard to open sometimes. I would have liked more zippers

Very durable. I like having buckles rather than zippers. Main compartment has plenty of space, but the pockets are a little small.

This would have been 5 stars had the pocket flaps not been partially sewn shut. I was able to cut the thread on a few but very difficult.

Very comfortable backpack. The main storage area is a little small, but for a lite hunting backpack it's perfect.

This is a superbly constructed backpack. As a Boy Scout Troop Master, I take this with me everywhere with the scouts, as well as on regular daytrips, family vacations, and anywhere else I go. This pack protects my laptop, and has plenty of room for storage of anything else you may need. The only issue is the side pockets are too small for anything but a disposable water bottle, which I do not use. If they fix that, it will be the perfect backpack.

We'll constructed, fits well. Wish there were more small zippered pockets. Existing packets are hard to put thing in and out of because pocket flap is sewn so tight.

I bought this rucksack because my previous backpack that I used for work/hiking started to rip in various places. I love everything about it except the side pockets. They are ridiculously small - I can't fit my relatively skinny travel mug in them and definitely not my nalgene. I wish the pockets weren't sewn so far over and the "lid" opened up more. Instead of a water bottle, I filled the side pockets with my K-cups for when I'm in the office. I do love the look and the versatile function of the bag. It's small enough that it wouldn't look out of place at work but gets the job done on the trails. If the pockets were larger I would give 5 stars.

Tried it on in store, knew I needed to have it. I've hiked extensively with this pack as a light weight backpacking option the last year and a half. Since that time, I've hiked the 100 mile wilderness with it. Took me 4 days to finish and it carried all my gear and food. Also took it hiking long distances and overnight throughout the whites and green mountains. With that said here are my pros and cons; Pros: durable nylon shell (I sprayed mine with a DWR, makes a nice difference) 2.3 lbs, lightweight. Large main compartment. Hip belt and chest strap allows for a lil extra load. I have a friend who wax coated his. Cons/wishes: wish there was more room for exterior pockets. Wish the hip belt was a little more thick, an extra lb is worth it for this pack. Lacks straps to hook things on Overall, for the price, I say definitely get. It's stylish, I'm always getting compliments out in the woods, forces you to pack better which I like. Unless you have all ultralight gear that packs down small, this will not be a comfortable winter backpacking option for anything over 18lbs. Pulls down on one shoulder pretty good after that weight.

I needed a day pack to carry on a trip to Oregon with those items I needed to keep separate from my luggage bag. This worked great with one exception, there are a lot of "clasps" to deal with on every pocket. Once I got use to it and more organized, I was able to both make it work and protect my valuables. It seems durable, easy to use and plenty of storage room. I have NOT used it on a day hike yet but plan to this fall.
