I have been wearing Carhartt overalls for over 20 years - the recent redesign is a complete miss. Moving the hammer loop from the left to the right side is awkward. Relocation of the side pocket from right to left was a bad idea. I am disappointed in these seemingly minor changes. The pocket changes on the bib were not worth the effort - you end up with odd shaped pockets that can no longer be secured with snaps, pencil/pen pockets are now too short, zipper pocket is not useful.

I still like the bibs, but don't like that the hammer loop and the leg pockets were interchanged with each other. Loose really means loose.

46x30 overalls, my weight 215 with a little beer belly, and the overalls give you the space, you need. so they are still loose even when sitting down, they are loose around my belly, so i can breath an feel freely. with carhartt length- i just bought about 25 pair of different Carhartt pants from stores online and some are 32 length an other 30 length tho all of them fit great. ( why so many pants because i gain weight an needed to get new pants, and made a choice to buy all Carhartt pants) Now back to overalls length, the 30 are a little long, i look like a skate board kid(man) even tho im close to 60 but also not to long, with my tennis shoes they are ok. hopefully they dont shrink to much in length when i wash them but just a little. thanks Carhartt for fast shipping of my two pair of overalls. oh yea one more thing, they look great : )

Go back to old style!

They might be a bit to loose fitting, otherwise great pants.

Pockets to shallow

Why did you change the design? You changed the bib pockets, changed the hammer loop to the other side and the side pockets were changed too. Why does a company, that has a great product, change it?

Awesome purchase

the fit was changed to "loose fit" and Carhartt no longer offers the bib overalls in the original and relaxed fit. If you normally wear either the original or relaxed fit, if you but the "loose fit", they are way to big. Disappointed that they discontinued the original and relaxed fit and only offer the "loose fit".

As a dedicated Carhartt overall wearer, these leave a lot to be desired. I have worn R07 for many years. These are a poor substitute for R07. First as someone who works outside, these are hot in the summer. The heavier weight of the fabric and added weight of the bib make them very hot. I thought they might be better in cold weather. Today was the first cold snap in which I needed my insulated bib over my regular ones. The heavier weight of these make it very difficult to put insulated bibs over them. As I said, I work outside and all I wear are Carhartt - regular bibs every day, insulated bibs over regular bibs all day every day in cold weather. The style of these i different than the R07. The loose fit is not an issue as I am a bigger guy and like the loose fit. The problem with the fit is the body of the overall seems longer than before. As stated earlier, I have worn Carhartt for many years. I have purchased 2 pair of the new style and would send them back if I could, I am presently looking for a brand to replace Carhartt.

Ive wanted overalls since I was a kid, because my Dad had overalls that he always did yard work in. Now that Im 47, I FINALLY got my overalls and I LOVE THEM!!!!???????? They fit perfectly and I wear them almost every, single day, when I get home from work!!????????????

My husband loves his car hart's. The only thing is he really misses the elastic straps on them. You should really bring them back. I've read reviews from other people that misses those straps as well
