I needed gloves I could use with my cellphone and around town. These gloves were perfect for that-- no more peeling off a glove to show my bus pass to the driver! Imagine my surprise to find they were even better for an afternoon of snowshoeing. My sweaty hands stayed warm and not soggy. Then I lost them and I've been sad ever since. My four star review is because of that AWFUL huge white logo. Just stop putting the dang logo everywhere, OK LLBean?

This is a very comfortable, snug but not tight glove that is well made and true to size. It has a knit wrist that keeps wind out. The material is slightly bulky but it is a winter glove and not intended for performing intricate operations with your fingers while wearing them. They are warm primaloft with a sueded palm that is good for driving. My only complaint is something I have noticed LL Bean has done on several items recently: their logo is displayed larger than prominently, which I find unnecessary. LL Besn's quality has waned in recent years but they still turn out a better product than most. The glaring logo doesn't improve the product, it just looks like they are trying too hard to be noticed. All in all, this is a great glove that I would definitely recommend for casual wear.

These are decently warm gloves that I will use a base layer for colder commutes and solo for warmer commutes. The finger stitching is a bit odd; it's not rounded but pointy. I don't use electronic devices with these gloves (don't have a Smartphone!) so I cannot attest to that functionality.

Like the gloves; they fit well, and are warm. The only thing I don't care for is the clips on both gloves (you can snap them together). All in all, good price, good quality, good fit.

I can hardly believe I ordered gloves online that fit. I am broad across the palm but have short fingers, and even trying them on in stores they are to find with a good fit. Took a chance on the medium. The stretch must make the difference. Haven't worn them outside yet, so no comments on warmth, etc. But Halleluia! for the fit.

They fit well, I like the tabs on the fingers but they are not for frigid weather. They are good temperature's in the 30"s.

Nice style; I should have purchased a medium size. Not as soft on the inside as I had hoped. Certainly seem very durable.

I purchased this gloves and wound up returning them. They are well made and comfortable. You can even use an iPhone with these on. The problem I had was that when it was below freezing it wasn't the slightest bit warm. I could feel my car steering wheel through the gloves. I also took the trash can in with them on, and the heat from my hands caused the ice on the trash can to melt. As a result, my hands were quickly soaked. Probably great gloves for fall weather, but winter in Indiana? No way.

Looking for a winter glove, wish these were warmer, good for driving or temperatures above 35 degrees

To be Primaloft, they are not very warm. Disappointed in these.

I bought these in the store after trying on every style they had. They fit nicely and are flexible (which i wanted), but are not keeping my fingers warm in 30 weather, even if I'm not outside long.

The stitching on the pinky finger was off and the material was twisted. I returned them.

Not the quality I was expecting. For cool weather not cold. Not going to keep my hands warm in Rhode Island winter.

Last year's fit so well. These new ones barely slide over my hand even though I bought a large.

Maybe they are for layering under a larger pair of gloves? I bought them for walking my dog in Chicago winters, and they are definitely not warm enough for that. But they are very soft and nice looking.

The gloves are warm. They fit me well, but the stitches started to come apart the second time I wore them.

Before purchasing these gloves, I read several reviews saying they aren't warm. This is true, but I was planning to wear them on mild days. The problem is the gloves don't provide enough grip on the palms and fingers. I don't need the dog's leash sliding out of my hands. I will be returning them.

I had the same style LL Bean gloves for several years and recently lost them. I purchased the new pair because they looked the same, but after wearing them and looking closer, they are not made nearly as well as the older pair I lost.

It is nice that a gripping fabric is sewn in the palm of the glove to help keep a firm hold on the steering wheel. It would have been better if this same fabric was sewn on the inside of the fingers so drivers can grip their stainless coffee mug. The way it is currently designed, the mug slips through the glove every time you pick it up. I used the clips on the side of the gloves to drape them over a hanger to dry them out when needed. That was a handy feature. The gloves are good if you are going in and out of the car on errands and shopping. However, these gloves are not designed for one to be out of the cold for an extended period of time, e.g. sporting events, hiking, etc. For such times as that, it is best to use fleece lined gloves.

I didn't feel it kept my hands warm at all. I used them out in the cold weather, you can use your phone while wearing them.

These gloves run large. Per the sizing chart, I ordered a medium but exchanged for a small. The fingers are still too long, but the palm is a better fit. I wore them for the first time today in 40-degree weather while taking my morning walk and my fingers were cold. The touch-screen feature didn't always work so I had to take the gloves off to swipe my phone (possibly because of the too long fingers?). The gloves are nicely made.

I bought a pair of these gloves during the winter of 2020 (12.25.19), based on my experience with LL Bean of durable, true to size quality purchases I have made over many years. Size was true, Used them for driving, walking the dog in temps down to at least 25. The second winter, the outer fabric began to disintegrate on the outside seam of both index fingers. along the seam line, so I couldn't even repair them by hand. So they look tacky, with the lining showing through on both gloves. Still, I used them, through two more winters. The rest of the glove held up, the lining is still intact... therefore the 3 stars. I love the basic glove. The fabric was either trimmed too close to the stitching, or wasn't up to Bean's quality. Still I'm about to try again and take a chance on a new pair.
