It took forever to get here. Back ordered until January- I should have had a backup gift idea. He loves it and bought another for his wife for Valentine's Day. Arrived in 2 days.

I understand why people would like this, but it is SO hot that I can't use it for my intended purpose. I wanted it as an extra layer over my comforter for warmth, but it's so hot over a comforter, and it doesn't breathe, that I'm sweltering and sweating. I keep my bedroom at 64 at night and tried lowering the temperature, but it's not only the thickness but the materials that trap in too much heat. I'm also a bit concerned that it won't hold up to time (repeated washing) because the back/sherpa layer is attached to the top layer only around the perimeter. If one side shrinks, it would pucker. It's super soft, and I see why people find it cozy (my cat does!) but it's just too thick and too hot. I wish I'd bought a different throw.

Last year I bought this blanket it was amazing!! I decided to buy 3 more recently and not even close to what they use to be. They are thinner and light weight

This was a Christmas gift for my son. He was very pleased to get it. Do not know how it is working out for him at his place.

I bought these XL sherpa blankets as gifts for my girls and had them monogrammed. The first disappointment, was that prior to opening them the bag was marked "Made in China." On the LLBean website it showed imported! I am very disappointed in their lack of transparency. I wonder why it doesnt say "Made in China" on the site? Probably would NOT get as many sales! Then the monogramming that is recommended for the tan color is listed as "Natural," and it is NOT a natural according to the preview on the site, and blends with the tan color.It is very frustrating when the preview doesn't reflect what I received! I must say LLBean is not what it used to be, and has sold their company to China.Guess I am fortunate to still have customer service in US and that that hasn't been shipped to China!!

The throw will not lay flat. The Sherpa side seems to be a bit larger than the plush (velvety) side, otherwise warm and comfortable.Dou

This blanket is so cozy & warm but I've only had it like ten days and it's starting to shed and fall apart. It doesn't seem like this blanket will last which is disappointing for the price.

Love the weight and size. Not good for use with pets. Their nails get caught on smooth side.

The blanket is warm. My only complaint is the blanket is not one piece. It's two pieces of fabric sewn together at the edges. The 2 layers easily pull apart. I spoke to LL Bean customer service prior to purchasing. They assured me that it was one piece. I'm very disappointed that the customer service rep provided the wrong information. I saved a copy of my chat conversation with customer service.

It's a good quality throw but nothing much better than throws you can buy for $25 at retail local stores. Not impressed enough to pay so much. A bit too thin for the price.

Beautifully soft and warm, but my throw was shedding. I had to return. .I have a vest with a Sherpa lining and the Sherpa was totally different.

I think this throw is terrific. I'm a cool sleeper so generally use a sheet and sturdy spread. Whenever they aren't enough, the throw is the just-right addition. I should have had this a long time ago.

We ordered two of the extra large throws. One throw arrived with a slit in the material and we were able to exchange it. We have only had the throw about a month and now one throw is starting to come apart at the seam. We love the warmth and softness, but we fear the throws are not going to last....which we are very sad about. We have used the throws every day as a cover while we sit on the couch and have been gentle with them. Maybe we just got flukes as other reviews seem to be good.

This throw is warm as discribed but once you start to handle and feel it you realize how thin the material really is. It looks cheaply made, but for the price I think it is a good buy, it does keep you warm and you get what you pay for.

I just purchased the Wicked Plush Sherpa Throw blanket. I'm appalled that a few days into using it (and LOVING it), I got scratched by something sharp. There was a 1/2-inch triangular shard of rigid plastic sewn in between the blanket lining and poking out of the fabric. I had to use scissors to cut open the blanket layers and remove it, as I have a toddler and it could have cut him. I have no idea why there's a rigid sharp piece of plastic in this. Otherwise it's a heavenly soft blanket and larger than a typical throw which is why I originally ordered this and will keep using it despite it now having a hole where I cut it open.

I washed this blanket by itself according to the care instructions (which actually say to wash with like colors but thankfully I didn't have any to wash at the time) and the white sherpa turned pink from the red blanket. Gross! Incredibly disappointing for L.L.Bean to have made such an inferior product that was ruined before I even got to use it. The blanket itself is really soft and might have been amazing as a throw but don't buy it in a dark color unless your aesthetic is cheap and raggedy.

Too small for sleeping under. Compares too much to other throws.

We waited for this item, as it was back ordered. Then so disappointed we returned it. The white layer of fabric had very sparse threads. And after washing according to directions (cold water, delicate dryer), the grey layer shrunk but the white did not. So they are no longer the same size and don't line up right. I loved the color, and buy LLBean things often. But this throw is not good quality.

Blanket is nice, it just came well after the original scheduled delivery date (which was way after Christmas).
