So soft and warm Just the right size. Love it!!!

I sent this to my daughter for her birthday and she loves it! She won't let either of her kids or her husband use it.

I ordered 4 of these to use on our porch. With COVID going strong, outdoor gatherings are our only choice for socializing. I figured these throws, a heater, and hot toddies will be just right.

My sister was coming for a visit. She enjoys visiting us because we live in the mountains and we have much cooler weather than her FL home. So, I elected to surprise her with this throw shortly after her arrival. She opened it and enjoyed it the entire visit. It met her expectations and mine also.

Bought one of these in a different color a while back but it has been washed so much it was looking a little shabby. Love how this color is so versatile. Beautiful for display even if you're not going to use it.

Beautifully made, soft and cuddly!

This throw is just was I was hoping for... long enough for stretching out to watch TV, medium weight but not hot, and really CUDDLY. So soft. I loved it so much I ordered a second.

These blankets have brought much strife to my home. Children and grandparents alike are fighting over these blankets, now deemed "the good ones", while all other throw blankets are no longer acceptable. They are very soft and the cable knit side dresses them up a bit, keeping them from looking like "airplane blankets", as my husband would say. Please buy enough to go around.

Exceeded my expectations! Cozy, substantial throw for use in an RV, as nights get cooler. Looks nice and fleece is so soft. Brought it into house, I liked it so much. Will need another for RV!

I got the off white one. It has a nice heft and the fisherman's knit, even though in polyester, really grows on one. It's warm, even though continued summer weather makes it hard to determine how cozy just yet. What's nicest about it is the pattern, etched in thick yarn that has depth. Idoubt you could buy a sweater with this thick a raised knit. The fleece lining is nice too and very soft. One thing, don't let your cat lay on it, the yarns catch very easily on anything. But if you're careful you'll have a nice blanket made with modern processes, yet which has a traditional appeal. LL Bean has been turning out good innovations the last year or so, this is one of them.

This is a great throw - nice looking enough to leave out on the all the time and cozy enough to snuggle up in. It washes well and has no pilling or shedding thus far. I have purchased this exact throw multiple times and love it.

Love the chunky cabled fleece throw. I bought the grey color for my daughter and it was just like the picture. The best part is the blanket was a little heavier than I had thought it would be. Thank you LL Bean you nailed this one!

Nice looking Soft fleece Only issue may be that the non fleece side is prone to "pulls" easily from a ring for example.

This is a great cozy blanket but I had to cycle it out of my main living room because it pilled pretty quickly and didn't look very nice anymore. I've had it about a year, but it started looking worn after a couple months of fairly regular use as the main couch throw. It's very warm, has a good weight to it, and is good to snuggle by the fire with, but it gets big chunky pilling on the white fleece side. I do really like that it's washable - so, even though it doesn't look great, it's easy to keep clean. I wouldn't purchase again just because I do care about it looking nice and new-ish and was disappointed that it looked worn so quickly, but I'll continue to use it when guests aren't around.

I bought 2 of these blankets in the summer in Navy, so I can’t give a full review as I haven’t used them yet outside or when it’s cold yet. But the Sherpa material is really soft. They seem to be good quality, I don’t see any reason they wouldn’t hold up. They’re a good size. I plan on using them on our deck in the spring and fall, and they seem plenty big for at least 2 people to sit under. The other side is cable knit, so I could see that that side could get snagged on something and stretch or something, but that would just be what knit would do.

This is a great quality throw blanket! Very warm and soft! I gave it to my Dad as a gift and he loves it. I wish it was a little longer though! Still, very happy with it!

First time description matched the actual product. This blanket is so soft and thick, could be a bit longer, but it certainly does keep you warm while watching tv. Gave it a four, because I haven't washed yet, but I hoping the wash instructions are as true, as the description of the actual throw.

Love the look of this throw. The cable is perfect. The sherpa side is warm and comfy. I found the outer shell of acrylic rather scratchy so I took off one star. Would love to see this in larger size next year. Overall it makes a perfect gift.

Its beautiful and very cozy. But the cats think so too, and putting it in their paws when noones around it becomes a mass of pulled threads. So yes I would recommend this beauty, but not if you have cats!

Both my 6'3-1/2" tall husband and I (who has to watch his feet turning blue as we sit snuggling and watching winter movies) wish you would make your throws in Sm, Med, Lg, and X-Lg! These sell out quickly enough every year to assure you that they're wonderful throws so why not be daring and make them in lengths to fit different size bodies instead of sticking with only the one-size-fits-all usual way of things? I'd probably buy the X-Lg, too, just to have extra wrapped around my lower legs or even tucked under my head as a pillow! The extra cash would be well-worth the all-over warmth those extra 10-12" on each size would offer! TIA!

One of my favorite blankys ever. My daughter has cancer so I use it to keep me warm. You must buy it.

This is a beautiful throw and very warm with the double layer. The only caution is it must be handled gently so that the knit side does not unravel. This is not a product for rough use by kids or cats. Also, the fleece side does shed a bit even after washing so you may find small balls of cloth on your clothing which I have not experienced with other fleece products.

I just received this blanket 30 minutes ago and couldn't wait to write a review! To begin, I only gave it 4 stars because the red color in the photo is a brighter red than on the blanket I received. My blanket's red is more of a Garnet color, which is fine with me because it fits my decor better than bright red. This is a quality made blanket with the right weight and length. Nice thick sweater material on top and really soft fleece on the other side! I haven't washed it yet, so I can't speak to that. I can see why some have said they will need to buy another one. I did a lot of shopping around to find a better quality throw, but after about a week, I could not find anything better. I will be buying another of these Chunky Cable Throws and donating my other blankets in the house. I have found the perfect throw! Thank you Bean for another quality product!

The blanket is cozy, but not as warm as I had anticipated. It's a good quality, made a good gift, but was maybe a trifle bit overpriced.
