Was looking for a shoe for daily use and i had never tried ASCIS before. Taking a chance, I ordered GEL-Excite 9 with OrthoLite- this shoe turned out to be very comfortable whether standing or walks it dosent fail.

Great shoe for the treadmill. Light and comfy and they get a good 250 miles before the gel loses its bounce. I'm on my sixth pair of Asics and second of Gel-Excite 9s in the last four years, and I'm looking forward to the next pair.

I am very pleased with these shoes, and Asics as a whole. I have been buying them for years. But most of all I want to praise Zappos for their customer service. I bought a pair that developed a small tear due to a minor manufacturing defect. Zappos did not hesitate and sent me a replacement pair immediately.

Great comfort and fit are the best words to describe the feel of the Gel-Excite 9. The shoe is durable and wears at a slow pace as used on daily walks. The lacing system works well to keep the shoes on without binding. Light weight and still protects my feet well.

These are very comfortable and lightweight shoes. I use them for hiking, my feet feel great in them!

2nd pair purchased for my son, who runs on the XC and track team. He got holes in the first pair on the top after a few months but probably just from running on dirt so much. Good shoes!
