I usually love Born shoes for their comfort and style and so I was super excited to receive these even though I was stepping out of my comfort zone (figuratively and also, literally) by investing in something that isn't black. They were comfortable as far as fit and the sole were concerned but the first thing I noticed when I stepped into them is that there is no arch support whatsoever. Knowing how important your feet are relative to your entire body, I no longer just settle for shoes. If you don't have high arches though, these are great.

Beautiful shoes. I was smitten by the color and ordered my usual size 8. The 8 was tight and if I needed to wear socks the shoes wouldn't have fit. I sent back the 8 and ordered an 8.5. The are a teeny bit roomy but it's better than too tight. i have yet to wear them because i live on a farm and don't want to mess them up in the Winter mud. Can't wait for Spring !

Love these shoes! The leather laces--primo, and the blue suede--beautiful.

Very well-made shoe. Comfortable fit, although over time I expect the leather upper to relax a bit which will be good because this leather, while sturdy, is a bit stiff. The shoes are flat inside, but apparently my feet don't need arch supports -- what they DO need are cushy areas especially at the ball of foot. These shoes do have nice cusiony insoles, my feet are very happy after long walks. I have received many compliments on these shoes. This is my 3rd pair of Born shoes, I've been very satisfied with all 3. Highly recommend this brand.

These Born Isadoras are very cute. The leather is soft and they fit overall. However, they are completely flat inside and snug enough that it's too tight with an added insole. If they are like other Born shoes that I have, they will continue to get more and more comfortable as I wear them and they will probably eventually allow enough room for an insolel.

They were comfortable as far as fit (wider than most M width shoes which is perfect for me) and the sole (soft and quiet) were concerned but the first thing I noticed when I stepped into them is that there is no arch support whatsoever. Knowing how important your feet are relative to your entire body, I no longer just settle for shoes. If you don't have high arches though, these are great.
