I love my bag! It goes everywhere with me. I even use it as a purse when I go out with the ladies because everything can fit in it. I got the Medium and it is a perfect size for what I wanted it for. The color is so brilliant blue that I love it! It is very well made. This is the 4th bag I have purchased in this line and I will be purchasing many more. They are great for gifts which I have given because they hold so much weight and last longer than any shopping bag out there. Well worth the price! You get what you pay for.

The Boat and Tote bag is of the highest quality and fully met my expectations. I love the zipper close and durability of the fabric. My only suggestion is to include, on the inside of the bag, a zippered pocket for such things as pencils, pens and glasses to keep them separate and not fall to the bottom of the bag.

These bags are roomy, sturdy, and super cute. The XL has enough room for me to pack for a week away. Love these bags.

Love these totes, but white is only good for the boat or beach. Please bring back colours, my favourite is black on black

I do not know how long I have had my three totes. People do not realize this, but you can wash them. You have to be a weight lifter to turn them inside out though. My handles were all frayed and all my friends were starting to LL Bean tote shame me in a funny way. I decided to surprise everyone and bought 2 new ones that zippered. Everyone was shocked! What I didn't tell anyone was I kept my old ones for tools, gardening.........you just cannot throw them away when the totes get old. By that time the totes have been too many places with you almost like having cats and dogs.

Always purchase a tote for a family or friend newborn. Appreciated and used by all those gifted a tote.

There isn't anything much stronger for carrying things than the llbean bag. With the name of a new baby, they are loved by new parents and I can attest that they travel well, even when checked in at the airport. Eventually they can be used for groceries, but meanwhile one holds a weeks worth of clothes for a wee one, or toys and books for an older one.

I use it as a carry all for workouts.

I ordered two zippered extra-large and long. It is just the perfect size for loading clothing for vacation time into our rn travel trailer. I am so happy I made the plunge and bought it.

With the small size restrictions of carry-on bags on flights, I searched LLBean for a nice looking bag. If not stuffed tightly full, this bag can fit under the seat on any plane. I definitely wanted a zip top to prevent items from rolling out. The long handles make the bag easy to carry over my shoulder. I won't pack the bag too heavy as the handles are not padded.

Babies generate tons of "stuff" so I love to give this with the baby's name or initials. They last forever so won't be outgrown.

There is nothing like an L.L.Bean tote bag - well-designed, sturdy, and US - made. There are many cheap copies out there. Don't fall for them

About 15 years ago I bought a small size LL Bean tote with zippered top and long handles, which I used for my bag in the Summer - had it monogrammed too. Several years after I bought it, I got married - but the tote was still fine and sturdy so I kept using it with the old monogram. But after almost 10 years of marriage and taking it on 2 trips to Europe, I realized it was high time to acknowledge my new name. So if I weren't so proud of my new name, and in love with my husband, I wouldn't have ordered a new one- but glad I did! And yes, I'm keeping the old one.

I love the bag with zipper closure. I plan to order several more. Highly recommend. I got this one for a bingo bag with zipper so nothing will spill. the color is gold and such a eye catcher.

I do not own a boat. I have not been in a boat in years. But the LL Bean boat tote bags are a necessity at our house. Currently I'm using four of them to help a friend move (a local move). The bags hold a lot, stand upright for filling, and allow one to gauge the weight easily for whomever will be toting the bag. The zippered top secures items and also affords privacy (say, on the elevator, fellow passengers can only guess at the contents). We keep a few of the bags in the cars so they are perfect for bringing groceries into the house in a single load - and the allow us to eliminate plastic bags from our life. Handsome, endlessly useful and very affordable, LL Bean boat totes are also handy inside - keep one at the top or bottom of the stairs and gradually fill it with items that need to go upstairs or down: it's infinitely easy to carry things between floors. Ours have been used to carry practically everything from firewood to library books, and we've even thought that in an emergency such as a fire, we'd put our dachshund in the tote and head for safety. LL Bean totes are about as environmentally friendly and dependable as a product can be. Don't buy just one.

I have these in every conceivable size. Even the teeny tiny one. But both my rescue cats: Spike (long fat kitty) and Roxy (not so fat kitty) like the xlarge one to jump inside, play, hide and rest. In fact, when they were kittens I took them to the vet in a smaller boat and tote with a zipper (unzipped.) I have given these as gifts. These are the most versatile item known to man and you can't destroy them. Great for your can trunk to store items. They maintain their shape. Made for abuse. Best of all: Made in the USA. LL Bean please make one with multiple slots and a zipper.
