The Boat and Tote is a bargain considering the quality of the item.

Give it a 5 - bottom is sturdy not like others I have - this bag is well made - a little stiff but I really like it and think over time it will soften up - described as small but is far from it- no inside pocket but LLBean has other bags to fill that slot

I got this bag because it is the same one my Mom had when I grew up and now that I'm a mom I had to get it. It's spacious and very durable. I love that it stands up on its own.

These bags are well made and classic. I have bought and returned some of these due to changing my mind on colors/handle lengths/sizes/monogramming, but the product is pretty much always great with very few exceptions. I now have many of these in different sizes, and I know I will get a lot of use out of this one. Medium works well most days for me for work, errands, etc. I like the zip-top for a little extra security, and the open top ones are nice for easily getting into and out of :) These bags are meant to be used and will take years of abuse. Love them!

Very sturdy and well made canvas tote...like the zipper...things don't spill out when tossed in the vehicle!

As always, the Bean Boat Totes are the best out there. I have several, and this one with the zipper is a great size. Not too small, not too big. Since one of my bags is going on 60 years old, I am sure I will have this for a long time.

Love the tote. Sturdy enough and large enough to take all the stuff we haul into a hotel room like our coffee maker, evening beverage stuff and dog food bowls. The only thing I wish it had is a sturdy bottom so stuff didn't slide together. But other than that it's perfect.

I gift these to all the new babies born in the family. The moms love them.

Exactly what I thought it would be! Love to use at our summer cabin in Maine. Schelpping groceries to and from shore to our island cabin is this bags main use. I grew up watching my grandmother use LL Beans totes for the same purpose. So not only does the brand and silhouette remind me of her, but I know the product holds up! It's also a joy to use off season in Florida for overnights, errands and groceries

Purchased for my granddaughters 2nd birthday for her designated travel bag. The bag is sturdy with plenty of room. I also like the new designs for monogramming.
