I was looking for a reusable, washable bag to bring to work each day and this is the perfect fit! I have a much larger bag that I've had for years that I take everywhere on trips/beach but this smaller one is ideal for everyday to work.

Well-made of excellent sturdy material. Ordered blue trim - nice color. It stands up by itself, not floppy. I use it for carrying clean laundry and other items upstairs. Ordered the regular handles which work fine for my purpose.

Excellent product, stands in the car. I have been using it for many years for my swimming gear and now also for carrying things to my husband who is in the nursing home.

My wife inherited a couple of these from her mother. After 35 years of regular use carrying groceries and tire chains and everything in between the handles were getting a little frayed. We ordered a couple of new bags and put the still-useful old ones into semi-retirement. Maybe we'll be passing these new ones along to our daughter in 20 years.

Absolutely the best tote, sturdy, stands up free, the large size will easily carry 80 + pounds, can use as a carry-on plane or train, easy to pack. If I am running out the door and need to gather a number of things quickly, this tote is so easy to load up and carry off. This is likely one of the best items LL Bean makes and sells.

These are the best bags around. Now that plastic bags are being retired at retail stores, the L. L. Bean bags are perfect to take up the slack. We keep them in the car at all times, and use them constantly.

With every new baby born to friends we give a monogrammed LLBean bag with the gift tag reading "every new little boy/girl needs an LLBean bag". A perfect gift for a little one.

We use these bags to courier books back and forth from our public library bookmobile to the main building, and from library to library, daily. We've been using LLBean Boat and Tote bags for years because they are easier to manage than carrying storage boxes, they are long lasting, and we can custom monogram them for the various routes the books take! Red to bookmobile, blue to the city library, purple for Quilcene School, and green for the main county library! Handle colors match the monogram colors for easy tracking, and they are so durable, even with heavy use, the last years.

We purchased 3 of these wonderful, oversized totes. When we travel by car, instead of using a suitcase, we each use one of the bags as our "suitcase". EVERYTHING fits in it, except shoes/boots. Jackets, shirts, pants, you name it, it's in there. We also use the extra large bag to stuff our pillows in so we do not use hotel/motel pillows, but our own. For overnight stops, we just grab our regular totes, our "pillow bag" and we are ready to go! We haven't used a suitcase for our road trips in years! The totes are soooo much handier!

This is an item that is durable, practical, and attractive. I purchased one and now have two to use for my weekly grocery purchases-thus avoiding plastic bags.

Got this as a boot and gear bag.. pretty sturdy/stiff will stand up on its own empty , ,long handles allow me to get them over my shoulder,, holds 4 pair of boots sz 13 and my boot dryer or large neoprene waders and the boot dryer and wader attachments

For a decade or so I have been using the bags to paint on,... they are thick and sturdy and optimal for my use,... no other bag on the market comes close. I am surprised that more people aren't using the bag for this purpose.

Gave to my grandchildren for Christmas for all their sports items. Had them monogrammed. Everyone loved them. Use to buy them for my kids when they were young. They are now 40 and still say they are a great gift.

They've been doing this for a few years: exceptional quality, durability, and strength. You will not be disappointed. Recommend the long straps and monogramming.

I bought two of these for my grandson to carry his piano and violin music back and forth to lessons. It is astonishing how well-made they are. Both totes have held up extremely well, despite heavy use. The overall material and construction are of superior quality and the monogramming was beautifully done. Considering the exquisite quality and the reasonable price, I consider these totes my best buy of the decade. Wonderful, wonderful product.

I purchased 2 tote mediums that I keep in my vehicle. They are used mostly for grocery shopping to replace the hated plastic bag. The tote will replace 3-4 plastic grocery bags depending upon size of groceries purchased. The totes don't fall over in the car, spilling their contents all over the seat or floor and are easy to carry with their wide canvas handles. They are also a great tote for just about anything when going to yard sales, flea markets, visits to the beach and any other activity requiring you to carry multiple small items. They are almost indestructible as I have several large "boat and totes" that are over 25 years old. These large totes were used to carry 25 pound blocks of ice, spare clothing and beach towels to our sailboat many years ago.

I gave 3 of these as Christmas gifts this year. I have had my own bags for 20years, and use them for to and from the beach and boat all summer long. I have different sizes, and load them to the top. They have not shown any wear in the twenty years,other than fading of the color straps. They are a great product.

The LLB Boat Totes are my favorite! I have all sizes. I use my small one for travel for my ipad, books, etc. My girls loved mine so much I ordered them all one for Christmas. Then filled it with some of my favorite things!

I've purchased two of these bags and couldn't be happier! Would highly recommend for families, baby gear, beach/boat trips even at the grocery store! Very sturdy! Personalization is an added bonus!

Bought this and the small insulated tote as a Christmas gift for a friend. I had both of them personalized for her. The monogramming looks great. This bag was purchased to replace one that she has owned for more than 30 years.. She loves them both. Both bags are Navy trim with red monogramming.

I chose the regular and regret not choosing the long strap. The strap for me is to short to comfortably carry on shoulder. Outside of that...this is agree bag
