This is replacing a similar bag that I've had for at least 25 years! My old bag is kind of stained and worn out but I'm still using it!

Extra large size and sturdy! This is about the 5th bag of this size I have bought! So I do recommend this bag.

I had gotten one of these as a gift a few years ago and guessed at the size when ordering 2 more. Yeah so the size could have been smaller but that's on me. I use them to haul groceries and they work great. No more single use plastic bags.

I purchased Green XL/Regular with custom embroidery. The card inside the bag said made by Gert. Well Gert, fantastic work and another satisfied customer. Green looks better in person and the quality material and craftsmanship stand out. The custom embroidery came out flawless and adds a classic personal touch. I'm sure it'll outlive me!

These bags w/ long handles are just plain practical & awesome. I have multiple sizes & each have a multitude of applications. I specifically acquired the medium size w/ long handles for our grocery shopping & farmers market foraging because I can easily carry them w/ straps over the shoulder & hands free. Having 2 makes them perfect for the job. They are so well made & sturdy they outlast any thing else I've used. I'm still using my original one I bought at the Freeport, ME store over 16 yrs ago & now have 2 per vehicle. Easy to maintain & there's not another bag or tote out there that will last the test in my opinion. An extremely worth while investment for anyone looking to reduce waste & but a bit more sustainable.

We live in a city that just banned plastic bags effective January 1, so I needed several sturdy totes to carry in the car for groceries. I have owned a larger tote but needed several medium sized because I am a bit older and wanted sometime a little lighter. These are a perfect size and of course never have to worry about ripping or breaking.

This bag is massive and fantastic. I am in love. I knew it would be large bit this will be able to hold ALL of the things; beach things, picnic things, tailgate things, etc. Amazing!!!

We must have bought a hundred of these through the years for groceries, clothing, fishing, camping, laundry - our 5 kids keep acquiring a few every year - that's why we've needed so many - presume they do the same with them

I buy this tote and monogram it with the name of any newborn baby I need to buy a gift for. It is personal, practical and always appreciated by the new parents. As always, this bag is made strongly and built to last.

I got the XL bag with Long Handles in green and white. This has been a lifesaver in so many ways. I originally bought it to use as a reusable grocery bag. Great! No more having hundreds of plastic bags in my laundry room. It also cuts down on amount of trips I would have to make for groceries. But we've used it while moving. Used it as an inpromptu laundry bag. The uses are endless. The canvas holds up well so the bag doesn't lose form. Very sturdy and I would recommend to a friend.

I recently converted your SMALL Open top Boat Tote into a 6 bottle wine tote. It works great. So far have had more people ask me where I bought this wine tote. It might be something to look into with your products division.

Just came in from my third trip to the barn with my LLBean tote filled with firewood and I decided to express my thanks. Open top, I can fill it with about 10 pieces of wood, haul it with two hands (I am a 69 year old woman) into the house. It is at least 10 years old. Sturdy? I guess! In my teaching days I used it instead of a briefcase for books and papers. Nice to know quality products are still being made. Thanks!

I love my boat and tote bag so much that I decided to buy one as a birthday gift for my son's girlfriend.

This is an excellent gift for anyone. It will last forever and can be used for practically anything. This is a gift I gave recently I have given many over the years. Great colors, styles, handle types etc. can't be beat.

The bag is of excellent quality but the small bag is so small I'm not sure what it might be useful for. It's overbuilt for lunch, but that's about all it could hold. If you want to use it for a quick stop at the grocery or need to carry books back to the library, I'd recommend the medium bag.
