This is an excellent tote bag. I gave it as a gift and the recipients loved it.

This is probably my 6th bag over 15+ years! I use it everyday so it gets well loved and used! Obviously can't say enough good things about it as it's my everyday tote for walking around the city.

For years, I have coveted LLBean's tote bags. Thought they were spacious & timeless but I never pulled the trigger. Until now. So glad that I finally did. Great for groceries, overnight visits, & generally lugging things around. Sturdy & strong. I will use this tote every day.

This amazing bag carries everything from towels to tools! Straps that go completely under the bottom mean you can carry more than you can lift. After seeing my wife's similar bag I ordered my own for gear & tools. Also can't beat the price. Fantastic!

It is nice to know that some things in life can be counted on. The L.L.Bean Boat and Tote bag is one for sure! This bag has the same high quality and value as one I have had for over 40 years.

As always, the Boat and Tote is the stalwart workhorse of our lives! She is sturdy, dependable, attractive, functional, and oh so long lasting. We have several in every size and none have ever let us down. My only suggestions: offer a better variety colors (taupe, brown, orange, kelly green, etc.) and add a hyphen option to the monogramming (ridiculous that your machines cannot handle a little dash!).

The same top quality tote I've been getting in different incarnations through the years.

The bags were perfect for the people I care for they were beautiful embroidered with what I wanted and arrived just in time for their prospective special day. They are very durable and even after you wash them they keep their sturdiness.

I purchased this bag for travel to Hawaii and used it every day that I was there. It held up like a champ and I plan to use it for the next 20 years. It is sturdy and strong and just as advertised. I ordered an extra long handle, which may not have been necessary, but it came in handy when we were walking long distances as I just put it over my shoulder.

Absolute must have for the boat, the car, and the camper. I leave one in each and use them every day.

A classic and durable bag good for any occasion. I use mine to grab groceries, the beach, the lake, tennis, literally anything. This holds a decent amount and is really rigid so the structure will be good for life.

So convenient specially for summer but whole year round

The quality/durability of these tote bags is second to none. I have the large size and just purchased the small size to complement it; the latter is perfect for runs to the grocery store where you only need to pick up 3 or 4 things. I have only positive things to say about the craftsmanship, practicality, and design of these tote bags - highly, highly recommend!

Love this little bag so much!! I've found anything that compares to LLBean totes. I have tried competitors and they are just not the same. Just ordered two and still have a couple from 25 years ago that are going strong!

I have 3 of these bags in different sizes and they all work so well for my needs. My latest is the small-sized one with the long handles and works perfectly as my summer purse. The black bottom helps hide the 'whatever' that gets on it. Even tho it's small, it holds everything I need and then some. I highly recommend this!

My days of obsessively buying bookstore tote bags are long over. I have found my tried and true. I may have even bought several with different monograms pertaining to me. Needless to say this is my forever tote. LL Bean Boat & Totes truly live up to the hype. PS - this is also my office bag. Yep. The 13" MacBook Pro fits nicely in my open-top tote bag! It sticks out a little but honestly I like the way it looks. Plus I get soooo many compliments on my bag.
