To carry most of whatever you're carrying! I really like this ba. It's not the first one I've had so it joins a pack of bags. The canvas is not a wimp, it can't be easily cut or torn. This bag can carry bottles of water which on my own I couldn't do but with this bag, I can be much stronger than by myself. Groceries, kids, pets, this bag helps carry it all! Thank you LL Bean!

I board dogs in my home; the ones who are frequent or long term guests get a personalized bag from LL Bean. I've bought the lightweight nylon ones and the classic canvas ones. The owners are amazed, the dogs are indifferent (except when the bags have their treats in them.) I enjoy selecting the bags and all of the dogs bring their bags, with leashes and toys and food) for their next stay. The littlest dogs can fit into their bags! Of course I have the canvas bags myself, used every week for the farmers market and hauling whatever needs to be hauled. Five Dutch bunnies fit into the large bag, for instance! I had an outside pocket added to a bag, with Velcro at the bottom so it can go over a suitcase handle and be the allowed personal item. Would be nice to see a version with that addition offered. I look for excuses to buy these bags for gifts, knowing they will be well loved and well used, and I always take advantage of the free monograms included with the Bean credit card.

This is the one and only bag to own. Sturdy and dependable! I keep one in my car and one in my garage. I grab it for any type of shopping, or to go to the beach.

I have two of these totes (large and medium sized) and I absolutely love them!! I use the medium as my everyday purse and I use the large to carry all of my things and my daughters things altogether. The large is also great for a family bag to take on trips. I highly recommend and will be purchasing more as gifts and other sizes as well!

I wanted to thank my excellent chiropractor for his good work, so I decided to get a little monogrammed Bean tote for his newborn baby girl. I got the vintage rose color, which goes with her middle name, Rose. It couldn't be cuter!! A perfect gift!

I have so many of these bags now, all for different uses. I went through quite a bit of indecisiveness with colors/handle length/sizes and doing a number of returns (sorry L.L. Bean!) but I now own or am waiting to receive every size! Mini/small for smaller outings, medium for work/errands or when I need to carry more, large for pool/beach, and 2 XLs that I'm sure will serve many purposes! I have 4 LL Bean Bags I purchased 40 years ago and have used them for work and play all of these years. They never wear out. My Daughters are now on their own and are requesting a LL Bean Bags as a gift this year!

Love the green, this is the perfect size to grab and go! It sits by our door now, and I use it for my purse and all other kid-related items on the go. The structure is great and I know it will last for years. So many compliments on the color already!

What an incredible size! I love having 2-3 extra large totes on stand by for family vacations. They hold so much! Not difficult to carry even with regular size handles! I love the boat & tote! Truly nothing like it!

I absolutely love this canvas bag. It's sturdy enough to handle anything. Most of my LLB bags have a zipper. I like this one for a go-to bag on trips with my toddler grandsonholds everything he needs for the trip without having to unzip. He loves "his" new bag as well!

This is the third boat and tote bag I've purchased throughout my life; it will be my last because I'm 77 years old. These bags last a lifetime and I only replace them because they can get really used-looking after rigorous use. They are the best, sturdy and roomy. My new bag is beautiful, with tan trim. I love it and highly recommend it for carrying anything.
