These tanks were disappointing. I purchased to use instead of a bra and undershirt during the winter. The straps are flimsy and too long and the elastic is tight and not stretchy enough.

I ordered four of these in four different colors. Two of them were made in Indonesia and fit perfectly. Two were made in Mexico and the straps were super long and adjusting them all the way short didn't help.

They felt thin and cheaply made. When I tried one on, the stitching sounded like it tore. The straps are extremely long compared to the size of the tank top. I returned them.

Not thrilled with this and will have to give it away. You'd think a shelf bra in a larger size would be made for larger sized breasts, but in this case, you'd be mistaken. Utterly disappointing from Hanes.

I'm a 38 DD and straps too flimsy to hold boobs up. Not even good for bed. If you have small breasts, these would be fine for you.

Straps horrific, had to knot to shorten and still no good. There is no support at alljust a second layer of material.

Straps are too long. I have adjusted them as short as possible and they are still too short. I will probably be giving them to Good Will as I have already trashed the wrapping.

Straps too long, fit all wrong

Not what it used to be. The shelf bra is so much looser & the straps are much longer, even when I sized down. No longer offers good support. Wish it was like before because I would order 10

I'm so sad! I wear these everyday under my normal shorts and sometimes with a bra. They are not right! These straps are way too long, even adjusted. I also bought some at a Hanes store near me that didn't have the adjustable straps and they are ok. Super bummed because these are hard to find and only Hanes makes the ones I like.

Been buying these for years and years; But unfortunately, there's a big problem with them! As so, many other reviewers are stating there is something wrong with THE STRAPS-They are way too big and even if you put them on the shortest one they are still way too big. Something happened with the manufacturing and quality control and they don't seem to care! It is unbelievable that so many reviewers are complaining about this and they have yet to do anything about it. These are my favorites and I'm wearing them because I don't have anything else but they're not not good at all-Because they're too big they stretch out way too fast and they don't fit. I've tried different colors and I wear the small so I can't go down a size! I guess they're not reading the reviews because they need to read them ASAP and fix this problem so all their happy customers are going to continue to buy this product. I guess you should do what I'm doing which is look for something else-SO SAD/UPSETTING. We expect better from a company like HANES!

Not sure what they did, but these are absolutely horrible compared to what I previously purchased! There's no reason to have th strings on your shoulder because you can tighten them as tight as they go and they're still so big and no support. Dame size I ordered previously, but something changed. FOR SURE! Last purchase I'll be making unfortunately.

I have been purchasing these for years, but sadly this purchase of 5 different colors all came in defective in one way or another. Some were defective in the straps being ridiculously long, others had defective built in bras. All were a little bit different in sizing. I am so disappointed and returning all of them. Not sure I will be ordering from Hanes again.

Hanes is supposed to be a quality brand but buyer beware. I purchased several of these stretch cotton cami tops in a size small at the end of September 2023. I was excited to order these because my old camis wore out. I have to say that I am very disappointed with Hanes as the quality is lacking. First of all the adjustable straps are too long. If I want to wear these tops I will have to trim and sew the straps myself. Secondly, the gray cami (size small) was much smaller than the other colors, I almost pulled out my shoulder trying to get the top over my head. I do not know if this is a manufacturing flaw or if Hanes is cutting costs by not implementing quality control. My advice, order at your own risk!

Great fit but the straps are too long. I tighten them all the way then have to pull them together. They stretch more & don't support me. Disappointed to say the least.

Cheap crap. I bought 3 of these in different colors and in my opinion they are cheaply made and not worth the money you spend for them or the cost to deliver them. The material is really thin and I doubt they will hold up to 1 washing. Don't buy these.

They were the worse top I ever bought. I took all 3 them on my trip not knowing that when I put it on all three tank tops straps had no no elastic hold, not even the adjustable in back of the strap worked. I had to cut 2 inch of strap and sewed it back and that didn't even work. DON'T BUY ITS A WASTE OF MONEY. I threw all 3 of them away.

Straps are WAY too long!!! Can't shorten enough to get them right! SO bummed.

These are hard to find, so I persist. I purchased 4 of the same size. One shelf ripped right away, and one had straps so long they were basically useless. Two out of four were great.

A little too big on top and straps don't tighten enough. It's also very long so no way to tuck it in without it showing through fitted clothing. I bought a Medium and 5'6" 150lb. Not the kind of fit or quality I was expecting.

I've ordered this item before but these were unwearable. The "adjustable straps" couldn't be adjusted.

I bought another batch of these, as I wear them every day, and all 9 were way too big. My boobs fall completely out if I bend over. I am a large. I haven't gotten any skinnier. The straps are way too long and the fit is awful. I've worn these same tanks for a decade and the manufacturing has changed materials over the years, but never the fit. Very unhappy with the new batch and now I don't know what to order that will fit.
