Panorama 6 mid-boot: have only hiked in them about 10 miles so far, but very comfortable right out of the box. No need for break-in. Have not had an opportunity to test the waterproofing yet. So far very happy with these boots!

Very comfortable, runs true to size, and glad they offer a wide version. My only complaint is breathability - very low. Still a great boot, regardless!

Awesome boots. I had purchased the Vicious first but they were a bit too much for a casual look. The Panorama fit great with my insoles and do a great job at keeping my feet comfy and warm.

Im on my second pair of Mountain 600 and they fit me beautifully . The Panorama are disappointing. I ordered wide, they are marked wide but do not fit correctly.

The tongue isnt wide enough to cover the top of your foot, and there is an open place where the boot doesnt cover on either side, right at the flex point. Returned immediately.

These shoes are great! Already have walked numerous miles in them at work and they are so comfortable. Definitely would recommend to others.

I usually wear a size 11, but I ordered 2 sizes (11 and 11.5) because I was unsure which size would fit best. I have an old pair of size 11 Danners that I rarely wear because they are too small and hurt my feet. The 11.5 size fit best, and I immediately wore them on a two week trip. They fit fine and were comfortable throughout my trip. No problems. I returned the smaller size. If in doubt, I recommend ordering a half size larger than your regular size. Other than the size issue, these are good shoes and I recommend them.

I love these boots, they're comfortable right out of the box and have a simple retro look to them. They work as well on the trail as they do at my job and are supportive enough to stand at a vertical mill on concrete for six hours straight. My one complaint is that today I rode my motorcycle to work in them and it was raining; the tongue unfortunately is apparently not waterproofed AT ALL so I have a soaking wet band running down the center of my foot from my ankle to my toes, and I don't mean damp I mean SOAKED. Really bummed about this as I can't imagine crossing a stream while hiking in these and having it be okay to continue a hike all day with wet feet.

Fantastic fit and feel, excellent tread texture. Replace the black leather connecting the sole and upper with dense rubber for rocks and debris, and offer it in other colors and its perfect

I use my new shoes for my morning walks with my dogs which lasts a hour and on sidewalks. The construction of the shoe provides excellent comfort and support. The sole of the shoe has not shown signs of wear so far and Im very pleased.

These boots are standard Danner: look great, feel great, and are of great quality. This is my second pair of Danner boots (I've had the Mountain Light II for years). Aesthetically, these are similar to the Five Ten Guide Tennie, which I thought were very uncomfortable. These Panoramas check all the boxes!!

First time buying shows for wide feet & theae did not disappoint. Broke it in for a week at home & took it them to CO for 3, 14ers in 4 days & my feet have never felt as good after long hikes! Will buy again. Great traction for scrambling. If I had to nit pick, I saw other reviews with gripes about the laces staying tied, even after double knotting it gave me 2% of trouble during my time out there, but the rest of the shoe held up against shallow pools & the rest of the outdoors

As an older, larger guy who hikes 15-20 miles per week I go through a lot of hiking boots. I have tried more affordable brands and they usually take a while to break-in, I often use an insert for comfort and they last about a year. This boot required no insert, no break-in period, and has been the best fit and most supportive boot for me yet. Waterproof for trail hikes. The suede requires more care than I am used to, but if they last longer it will be worth it.

Great casual hiker. I have trouble finding shoes that are comfortable...these are perfect.

Good fall, early winter hiker. Well made comfortable.
