Super nice pair of trail runners. I bought them to wear during snowstorms and the trails. I have used them on 2 runs so far this season and I am impressed. Through the snowy trails were fun/responsive. On the roads not too clunky so I can get home. They also were not slipping on snowy road.
Feel pretty light on my feet for them looking pretty chunky. Fit is better than a few other size 12 Brooks I've purchased.
Very pleased with these. BRING ON THE SNOW!!

I no longer run but wear Brooks shoes daily for comfort. I bought these trail shoes to wear on rainy days for better traction or walking on uneven ground. So far, so good! I do need orthotics with these as I have high arches and need that additional support. The only shoes I don't need to wear orthotics with is the Glycerin model which is a perfect fit for me. I wear those daily to the office. Thanks Brooks for relieving my foot and knee pain as well as suppination problem.

I like but don't love the Caldera 6. The fit is good and still fits my wide toe box and the cushion is comfortable. The look is a bit crazy, and as I like to wear these to work sometimes, that is a downside. On the trail walking or running, the very wide base feels a bit like walking on a plate, would love to rewind to a previous model!

The shoes are supportive and comfortable but a bit chunky for sure.

Comfortable, I bought for work, I work in health care. The tred is too knobby, perfect for hiking but wouldn't suggest for everyday work

Used these shoes for trail hiking in Glacier National Park. They were overall very comfortable on my feet. I sometimes have issues with shoes coming up too high on the back of my heel. After walking for several days, these shoes started to hit that spot on the back of my heel. But overall, I loved them for keeping my feet from hurting from hiking so much!

This shoe is great recommended by my podiatrist because I need to keep off the tips of my toes and it keeps me a little bit back on my heels as I run. It's subtle but it works and I have much less foot pain. I will say these shoes always fail around the heel area and the heel area always rubs away first and early. If the designers could work on making that heel area more robust to wear and tear it would make the shoe last longer and feel better. I've been frustrated because of this issue and considered other brands but I do like the foot support Brooks provides . Otherwise I really like the shoe.

Great combination of cushion and support. Only drawback is that it runs really big. I'm happy with this shoe in a half size smaller than I normally wear.

Overall it was comfy. But I ended up returning it because of some stitching that was rubbing my foot.

They were nice but a little too thick on bottom. I guess they would be good for outside. But I run on thread mill. And they felt a little heavy. I have brooks other sneakers and they were very lite I felt like I was floating . Nothing wrong with sneakers but to bulky for me .

First of all, I love these shoes overall. I bought the Caldera 7, then I bought these Caldera 6. It has been winter in the mountains so I have only had less than a handful of trail runs in them, but tons of urban walks/runs. I actually like the Caldera 6 better than the 7, though both are excellent for cushioning. They're like walking on pillows. Also the grip is outstanding. I have had some minor problems with the laces coming untied, but nothing that a double knot can't manage. They do seem to run a bit wide. I always appreciate a wide toe box but the whole shoe seems wider than normal and wider than the Caldera 7 in the same size. So keep that in mind if you have narrow feet. The reason I rated only a 3 star is because I've been wearing them less than a month, mostly in the city on flat surfaces, and already the ankle area is wearing through the fabric. Uggh. I am very mindful of untying them to take them off and not being otherwise rough with them, so I can't believe they are already worn down. I was thinking about getting another pair in a different color but now I am not sure. I stopped wearing Hokas because they were falling apart so quickly, but not this quickly.

Disappointed that there's not as much cushioning as the 5. They feel pretty good and I've gotten lots of compliments on them at work

These hurt my balls of my feet after an hour and a half of walking. I need something that will allow 4 hours of walking. This is my 12th pair of Brooks. I purchased these after taking the survey. No improvement over the Ghost

These shoes are very comfortable to walk in but to run in not so much. The sole is too thick and squishes when I run making it uncomfortable to run it. I bought them for softball but just not going to work. But for walking they are exceptional.

I've had Brooks Trail runners before and loved them, but I've gotten several blisters from these. Just a bit weird around the heel area. I rarely get blisters from shoes, so unusual. Hopefully I've worn them on nowand it won't continue.

I've been looking for a light weight trail running shoe so I tried the Caldera. I have successfully been using Altra's (Olympus 9.5)but their trail shoe just feels too heavy. The toe box in the Brooks on my larger foot was just too narrow at the metatarsal heads. Even tried sizing up(To 9,5)Brooks however have been wonderful with returns. Thank you Brooks, but the shoe just didn't make my foot happy.

While I loved the looks of these shoes, they were definitely not as wide or as comfy as any of the other models I have bought. I've ordered many different models of Brooks in the past, and never had to order a wide. In this model I would need a wide. I returned them.

I own many pairs of Brooks from many series, Launch, adrenaline, glycerin. This is my least favorite. For some reason the arch bothers me. The toe box is narrower. They rub my little toe. My feet gets hot. I believe the material is less breathable. Glycerin is still my favorite for an 8 hr shift.

I like everything about the shoes...except the attached tongue and pieces inside that attach the eyelets for the shoe laces to the sole on the inside of the shoe (those thin strips hurt my feet).

Very comfy, but returned for the Ghost 14 since those didn't hurt my wide/flat feet.

I am kind of disappointed with the Caldera 6 that I even paid an extra fee to be delivered express last month. With the description of the sole, I thought it would give more height than the glycerin I had, but it did not. It looks so wide and bulky even though I ordered a B width. I work 12-hour shifts and my feet hurt. Thinking of returning it, but I already have thrown the original box.

I was determined to love these, but they weren't comfortable for me on street or trail. I thought the huge cushion was going to be super supportive, but it still felt like big impact on my body they didn't absorb shock. I had to return them, which was a super easy process. Thanks for that, Brooks Running.

The previous year's model I bought a size 9, so I bought a 9 again. These are way too big- do not even seem like the same shoe. I like how light they are, but this year they are chunkier.

I really wanted to love these shoes. My go-to trail running shoes have been the Caldera 4's for quite some time, however I just wore out my last pair of them and thought it would be an easy switch to the 6's. This version seems significantly clunkier and the footprint seems wider in the heel. As others mentioned the toe box seems tighter. This design didn't work for me- the shape of it kept my big touching the inside of the shoe at all times while I had room at the little toe side. Really bummed to have to return these and find a new trail shoe. The Ghost line is my go-to tread/road shoe.
