Great lightweight shoe. Extremely light while still being well cushioned and comfortable. I have been using them for some training and then race days, and I definitely run a bit faster with them.

LOVE these! Have been a long time Ghost wearer but decided to try the Hyperion max at a friends rec. Nice bounce, feels fast and light, good heel support. Wearing these for speed work and long runs and they feel amazing. I size up half size for Ghosts and did the same for these, and fit well. Laces tend to come loose so I suggest double knotting.

This has been one of my "go to" shoes for marathon training. It is very responsive during speed work and long distance runs. This is my second pair of them- my first pair has almost 500 miles clocked on them. It gives just the right amount of cushion and support for what my feet need. I was born with very little arch, so I grew up wearing orthotics to help my feet grow properly. This kind of support/stability is exactly what I need. It's not as cushioned as the Ghost, but is just enough to be comfortable during lots of training miles. It is also VERY light weight, which helps a great deal. Highly recommended!

Love it. Have been rotating three pairs glycerin for over two years and loved them also but wanted switch it up a little. Glycerin is great for walking but seem too heavy for running. Hyperion Max is fast running shoes. Lightest shoes I have ever tried and it looks so cute looking. I was concerned at first because I have wide feet and they didnt offer wide but it fits perfectly comfortable. Run true to size. Purchased 2 pairs so I can rotate. Thinking about adding another color.

Im not happy at all with my purchase ! First it says they are for running/fast walking - I have bad knees to begin with when I put these on they were like walking on the ground with no support whatsoever! Then I call up and the women is basically didnt care if my questions regarding the description of the product she acted like she didnt care ! I always buy brooks those are my go to sneakers and now Im starting to overthink that because calling up customer service and the women not caring at all makes me wonder if I should ever order again . Horrible customer service and now I have to send them back!

Max is light and bouncy. I like it very much. I wear the trail running model Cascadia standard width 6.5 size, so I ordered the same for Max. Despite I love the feeling of Max, the width seems to be a bit narrow for my feet in the toebox area. I do have a wider front feet. The customer service was very helpful when I called to ask for advices. She (sorry that I forgot her name) pointed out that the material of Max is different from others. While I felt great in Max after a 10-mile test run without any need to break in, my feet did feel squished toward the end of the run. I had to return the Max but I would definitely give Max another try if it has a wider width option.

This is my fast pair for shoes! For those runs I want to push my pace, these are the go to. I consistently run faster in them than others. I can log 30 miles without blisters or pain. They are not for daily use for me. I would absolutely buy a third pair.

I dont understand why this show is being discontinued. I have 8 pairs stockpiled now because I cannot stand the thoughts of not having them to run in. I did a whole month comparison of these and the newer Hyperion 2. I alternated every other day, running 5 miles a day in both shoes. They were both very good shoes, however, the support remained in the Hyperion max. In the Hyperion 2, the upper material on the shoe stretched so the support was not the same. I will stockpile more of these from other sellers while I can still buy them. These are also very comfortable to walk in after I dont use them for running anymore more. They last about 3 months running 5 miles a day outside for me. I wish they Brooks would make more Hyperion max!!

I just used them to run Marathon #10 and I qualified for Boston. Never did I ever think this would happen. Super light, super comfy. I have a narrow foot. Fits just right. I had Hyperion before I quickly noticed the difference with the curved heal.

Very cushioned for the miles. I didnt realize how tired my feet were until after I switched my shoes. Now my recovery after long runs are shorter and less achy.

Out of the box this shoe is so light I didn't think it would give me the support I needed. I was proven wrong. The shoe is lightweight yet magically provides all the support I need. The foot support is strong and firm and the shoe is springy - it seems to give me a little bit of propulsion during takeoff. I love it. Were it not for the sale price I would not have tried the shoe so I am thankful I found it during a temporary markdown. I have 3 other pairs of Brooks shoes for walking/running and I love them all. But this one motivates me to try a little harder, and to go a little further. The Hyperion Max is the Tinkerbell on my toes that keeps my run going. Thank you Brooks for getting this old lady to run when I didn't think I had it in me! Love, Cheryl

I absolutely thought the box was empty when I received it. It was so light. They absolutely feel like you have nothing on very lightweight and feels like youre walking on air.

Love this shoe. It has enough cushion and enough hardness in it, to pick up the pace also. I use these for uptempo runs and they work beautifully.

Light weight plus support where it counts . When I slipped these on I immediately could feel the support particularly in the heel and arches . There is adequate space in the toe box which I look for also . My initial test run was a 10mile treadmill run , with the expectation I might need to swap them out should they not cut it - but made it the whole way and Im thrilled ! I also have the Hyperion Tempo I bought last year and these are a comparable replacement with more support.

I've ran in the Brooks Adrenalines for 6+ years. I'm on my 10th pair and they are awesome supportive shoes for me. I LOVE them, and it's hard to wear something different. My goals have gotten bigger, and I was in search of a lighter speed shoe to train fast and race in to compliment my Adrenalines. I tried on every potential pair, and I was happiest with the Hyperion Max shoes. I've done a few speed workouts in them, and they are great! So much lighter and I love the cushion. The sole is really helpful for hitting more on the forefoot and not heel striking to be faster. For someone else who is accustomed to the Brooks Adrenaline GTS, the Hyperion GTS may be a good addition with the GTS support. I tried them and liked them too, but these felt best and fastest to me!

Ive fallen in love with this shoe, especially for faster runs and intervals! The responsive, rockered sole really shines when you pick up the paces. LOVE the dialed-in fit of the breathable, just forgiving enough upper. I have a slightly narrow heel and lower-volume foot. These lock in my heels and mid foot, and the toe box is just wide enough without feeling sloppy. My husband has a wide foot with high arches, and the mens version works well for him, so I think the upper has just enough give to accommodate different types of feet. I really hope Brooks doesnt change anything about this shoe with the next version!
