When you first open the shoe box, these boots make an impression. The quality of the craftsmanship is apparent even down to the smallest detail. They are gorgeous, but the Walnut was a more vibrant color than I was expecting real life. I'm returning them because they're a little more flashy than what I'm comfortable with. If the Chestnut becomes available, I'll definitely be back to other a pair of those. Thank you, Zappos for your flexibility.

I already had the SAS Jade in black. Given the fact that I teach, and that I am on my feet all day, I just couldn't resist ordering them in walnut, as well. From the first time I put either pair on my feet, I felt as if I were wearing the most comfortable bedroom slippers in the world! The soft leather combined with the cushioned, yet firm support left me feeling as though I were walking on a cloud! My high-school students noticed the walnut brown ones today and requested the brand and source. Of course, I complied happily! SAS @Zappos = my go-to shoes! They are extra kind to my extra wide feet!

Finally I can wear a boot!! It's so aggravating that the selection for extra wide feet is minimal. We have feet too! When I saw this boot I was ready to order. But, I've purchased many pairs of shoes that say they are truly wide but when I get them it's just not true. I actually put off trying them on because I just knew I was going to be disappointed. But I wasn't! These boots fit! And they don't look like some kind of Frankenstine boot. Goodness there are ugly shoes and boots out there. I am thrilled to be able to walk around with an attractive pair of boots on that fit, are as wide as they say they are, and are comfortable! Thank you SAS!

Love this shoe! But a little too short and snug in the toe area. Can’t wait to get my exchange !

I didn’t find these as attractive as some other similarly colored booties I ordered from Zappos and so I returned them. That being said, I did find them comfortable.

A little too ugly, and also the ankle part rubs on my ankles, only this style, not other short boots that I own, Probably the synthetic lining? Which I dont like

They were uncomfortable around my ankles, just rubbing and never going to work. Weird because I have a lot of short boots but these are a no. Also they are foam lined. Why do I need leather to then get foam lining? No thanks

Not sure what is happening with SAS....I have worn them for years. Last few pair were HUGE.....

This is a nice looking boot, but the toe box is very shallow and pinched my toes. They were wide enough, but not deep enough til that makes sense. So sad, but returned them.

Shoe felt narrower than expected in toe box and heel, but was too wide around ankle

The material felt nice and looked good. I ordered WW width and this was not as wide as I expected. The front of the boot and the toe area are not wide.

Well it’s weird. They were comfortable but they were too wide and I didn’t like the look.

This was a beautifully made boot and seriously comfortable! Just not quite the style I'm looking for.

Quality is excellent SAS quality that I expected. The boot support is moderate. I wish it was more cushioning, like other SAS shoes I have purchased as well as better arch support.

Comfortable and not bad looking. The ankle size is perfect, not floppy like some of my other EE shoes. A keeper.

Very comfy and accomodated my hallux limitus. The wide felt a little big.

Smooth soft leather. Fits like the SAS slip-on shoe that's it's based on. It looks sleek and modern with pants. However the top front edge of the boot rubbed on the front of my legs, even with socks. I am normal weight but my skin is sensitive. Sorry I had to return these, because they worked in every other way.

Beautiful boots, but bottom was not non-skid.
