I bought this shoe for work, the shoe is a good quality product. The seam is the problem for my right foot. I cannot use the shoes and cannot return them because they are worn.

The back of the shoe that fits around the heel of my foot is 1/8th inch lower than the pair I bought 3 years ago. That's enough to cause the heel of my foot to slip out with each step. I wore my first pair of SAS shoes 30 years ago. The quality of their classics seems to have gone down since the founders died.

These are overall pretty comfortable to work in, but I did work 15 hours last week and they felt horrible by the end of the day. 8-10 hours they are very good. The material on them doesn't seem to give like I thought they would. The grey soles look nice with the black. I'm 36 and get a lot of "my grandma has those shoes!" Comments. I would like if I could change the insoles.

Lots to say about these shoes. They were a replacement for my original SAS, same design, black, 20 years old. Yes, you read that right! These babies last. So on a whim I decided to go for the blue, which I thought were a kind of suede. Well surprise, it doesn't say it anywhere, but these are a metallic blue! At first I was rather taken aback, but then I started to like them and now I love them. Gotten lots of compliments on them too, not your typical boring grandma shoes.
The bad part is that I am a 6.5 Medium but I went ahead and ordered the double wide and I can't imagine how I would have gotten in them if I got regular medium. These are not wide at all. The arch support is pretty decent, but I find the heel to be very hard for my picky feet. Unfortunately when I tried to put in a 1/4 inch memory foam liner, the shoes become extremely tight, something that wouldn't happen if these were a true double wide. The rest of the sole is reasonably comfortable, but I'm very disappointed in the overall fit of the shoe. Since I've already worn them outside, my best hope is that with time they will soften up a bit and then maybe I can add a much needed heel pad.
If you are anywhere close to needing a wide shoe, think before you get these.

These shoes are not a wide width shoe and that is what I ordered.

The 51/2W is too narrow in the toe box. My heel slips in size 6 and would rub a blister. I could try to stretch the leather, but the insoles are stiff with lumps that feel like pebbles underfoot. I have never worn SAS and maybe another model like the Siesta would fit better. They look good with my pant suits, but I couldn't imagine wearing them for very long.

I'm not sure why these are marketed as comfortable shoes, and so expensive! I didn't experience a "generously soft" footbed, nor any arch support....how do they get away with charging so much?

I bought these shoes for my mom for Mother's Day. They are stylish enough but they are labeled as double wide. They not wide at all. I had to return them.

I'm very upset because I really wanted them to fit. The double wide is so narrow. I only buy this company because my feet don't fit onto regular shoes. They can't suddenly make them all narrow.

My recent experience with your website suggests that you have the most poor customer services I have ever experienced. Between me and my wife, We have purchased 7 pairs of shoes in our life time, plus I have referred another 13 sales that you save received because I'm a physician and people often ask me about what shoes are good.
I recently purchased a pair for my wife, turns out they are too narrow, even though she purchased the same width in past purchases with different models. The fact you won't even exchange them because all sales are considered final is disgraceful. The sale shoes were on the same website as your non-sale items, which you do return. It was confusing and unclear when I placed the order. I never would have ordered if I understood this.
You have lost a valued customer and I will tell all my clients and friends my experience.

While these looked cute, once I received them I was extremely disappointed. I realize that these are not support type shoes, but there is no cushioning in the foot bed. It's hard to believe that these are SAS shoes!

I have been wearing SAS shoes for over 20 plus years and have always been happy with my purchases until recently. SAS shoes are not the same. I found the leather to be stiff and hard, little to no arch support and sizes do not fit the same as previous years. Shoes do not conform to feet as before. This makes me very sad because in the past I knew I could always find a good fitting pair of shoes at SAS. I do like the Nudu sandals and have four pairs which fit perfectly.

As a nurse, I wore SAS shoes for years and loved them. I find the current shoes to be much more narrow and no longer fit my foot. SAS sandals continue to be a nice fit and very comfortable.
