I have a high arch, wide front foot, and wear a 3/4 orthotic. This is a great shoe, very comfortable, and I can wear it with a casual dress. I have never had a SAS shoe with the 3-part walking sole. It is actually more comfortable than the flat sole shoes I usually wear, and my back pain is better. Highly recommend.

I have a wide foot and usually only wear sneakers. These shoes fit very well, give GREAT support, and are even more comfortable than sneakers while looking great. You can tell they are engineered well. I love them. Very expensive, but well worth it.

This shoe is so pretty with jeans or dressier slacks. I am returning only because they were too big. I hope I can exchange for another pair in a smaller size. The cushioning felt very nice on my fee.

These are THE MOST COMFORTABLE shoes I have EVER worn!!! Roomy toe box; heels that fit; and great design. I have one in black and one in brown to go with everything.

This is the first pair of shoes I've ordered from SAS, and sadly, they aren't for me. The strap seems very short; I had to cinch it very tightly to be completely closed. (My feet are wide, but not particularly tall.) Also, even with the strap cinched tight, my heels still slipped out of the shoe with every step. The shoe is very cute and comfortable otherwise, although it's quite heavy. Just not for me.

I didn't like their S-motion technology. Felt like a rocker bottom, which I've tried before and didn't like. Also this one rubbed on my bunion. Cute, but not for me.

I've had these shoes 4 years and purchased these in both brown and black. The foot bed is wonderful. I would recommend them. The toe box is generous which is important to me. My only complaint is that the strap is lacking in Velcro. That's the reason I didn't give them a five star rating. The strap isn't long enough to allow for swelling.

This is the best shoe to walk in or work in. It is very supportive and fits my particular issues perfectly. I have front pads on my feet that have developed an issue and this shoe is very well constructed. The support is great. I have very narrow heals too and I get no sliding inside these shoes. The only issue I wish you had more colors. The brown is not overly attractive. The price is a little high for people on a fixed income though.

I have very troubled and troubling feet, neuropathy after surgeries along with other issues. I was searching a long while for a pair of brown shoes and found these on the website. What a lucky day that was! These are the most comfortable shoes in my collection. I have a pair of black maryjanes from another company that were very expensive, designed for troublesome feet and they have nowhere the same comfort. If I can swing it financially, I may have to donate them to the mission house and spring for yours in black. In future, I would buy every color you make. I don't know what you did, but it is fabulous. Thank you a million times from a very old woman who still wants to look good in spite of foot issues.

These shoes make you walk the correct way. Being a senior I have a tendency to shuffle instead of picking my feet up because I am afraid of falling but with these shoes on I walk correctly which is heel and toe. Also my feet swell up and this style allows me freedom because of the open style and because my foot is wide but my heel is narrow the strap stops the heel from moving up and down .

I am a teacher and learned two years ago that my foot pain is from fat pad atrophy. After two years of relentless trial and error, my podiatrists suggested these shoes. These are the only shoes I have been able to wear. Without these shoes, I would have had to consider a different career. I can not even come close to expressing my gratitude.

I have several pairs of SAS, but the heel was uncomfortable (kind of a rocker type--maybe good for walking). For that reason I'm sending them back.

True to size, good arch support. I got my feet measured at the Sas store which was a real eye opener. I thought I was a 9 M and I am an 8.5ww! What a difference that made in where the arch support went! The shoes are American made, and of good leather. These have an adjustable top strap that stays in place with Velcro. In the black color the top of the shoe has a sparkley area that looks really cute and dressy, but not too much! The soles feel the same as their walking shoe. Again, Sas shoes are nicely lined. The leather will conform to your feet. You should be able to walk in these and look awesome!

The shoes are well-made and comfortable. I'm sending them back because they look like an old woman's shoe.

The last two pair I have purchased, there is a very noticeable "shortening" in the length of the strap. The newest pair I bought may have to go back as the velcro only adheres about 1 inch, meaning I have to pull the strap tight in order to keep the shoe "fastened", this is not very comfortable. Also, being a nurse if I need to RUN, the strap doesn't hold and I could come out of my shoes... I need the longer strap back please. (When shoe is on, the "button" is almost at the top of my foot!!)

While the shoe itself is amazingly comfortable and really helped ease the pain in my arthritic foot, the strap was a problem. It needs to have more velcro. When my foot swells due to inflammation, the strap can't loosen sufficiently. Thus, it caused a sore. I'm going to take it to the shoe repair shop to see if they can add velcro. Seems like a simple problem for you to resolve.

I need to return this shoe because the ankle strap is too long for my 9 inch circumference ankle (9 1/2 N), leaving very little of the velcro securing the show and too much strap hanging on the side. Sadly, because this shoe is well-made and perfect in every other way. Please consider making this shoe in a slim.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn! I have a very hard time finding shoes that fit and are comfortable. My feet are narrow and completely flat. My specialty shoe store, Browns Shoes, closed their doors in 2023, so finding SAS shoes in narrow has been a challenge, and buying online is risky. So, I am able to buy here, and get the same styles I bought from Brown's shoes. This style, the way the soles are designed, allow me to be on my feet all day without pain.
The only changes I recommend- more colors!! and the Velcro catch/snag my pants.

I have narrow feet and back problems. I found SAS about 2 years ago. My "go to" shoes now. Just bought the Step Out and they are so comfortable. They help the way I walk due to the slight rocker motion built in the bottom. So comfortable and doesn't hurt my feet or back. Please make this style in a true Navy color and perhaps a wine and/or tan. I bought the black and brown and would buy other colors if available. Thank you SAS! So glad I discovered you. Also, love other styles and hope you make more "not so old lady" styles. Shoes are expensive but made well and good variety of sizes.

These were ideal summer travel shoes for a few weeks in Ireland/UK. Stable, easy walking - rain or shine - on uneven paths and slick cobblestones. I wore them with cotton socks and felt secure and comfortable through miles and miles (and miles!) of foot travel with my family. Not only did they feel good but they always looked presentable, whether I was sight-seeing, at the theater, or out for a nice dinner. They fit just like my reliable Walk Easy winter shoes, with plenty of wiggle room for the ol' toes. Worth every penny. Thanks from a not-so-young gal who has plantar fasciitis and a host of other foot problems.

Absolutely beautiful shoes, width is great for my wide foot, but ran about a half size long. They would probably work if i wore my thick running socks, but I bought them to wear with a dress. I'm returning and reordering them in a smaller size because I love these shoes!

I had forgotten how comfortable SAS shoes were. I used to work retail, on 8-12 hour shifts on a concrete floor and SAS was the only shoe I wear for work. Nothing seems to have changed since then, wonderful comfort and great style.

Bought them for my mother. She usually wears size 7.5 Wide in SAS shoes. She liked the fit of the 8.0 Wide size. Comfortable shoe with good thick sole.
