I've always had problems with Shin Splints. I was told to try a pair of Brooks Shoes and did the shoe finder. I landed on this pair of shoes and it was a game changer. These are the most comfortable shoes to run or walk in. I tried a different Brooks Shoe Adrenaline GTS 22 and I much prefer the Glycerin GTS 20. Both are good shoes, but the Glycerin's are much more comfortable.

I have put 29 miles on them so far and I have to say they are very comfortable and supportive. I live in Key West, Florida and all my runs are on pavement. The shoes I was running in before were causing me to have calf and hamstring issues and since I started running in the glycerin GTS 2.0 my issues have improved. Great shoe and great company.

Overall, I purchased 5 different pairs of sneakers from several sources, mostly just for walking and light lifting. At the end of the day I narrowed it down to a pair of Skechers and these (Brooks). Price being comparable, the Brooks were slightly more comfortable and had; in my opinion, a much more stylish look.

Best shoe ever! Cushioning is unbelievable. Like walking on air. Can't imagine I would ever find a better shoe.

I purchased this for my son. He is a nurse and on his feet all day at work, he loves the shoes as they are light and have lots of support on his feet. He is size 9 on Nike brand, but this shoe run 1/2 size smaller. I have to returned the size 9 and re-order the same style and brand with 9.5 size, and fits perfect for my son’s feet.
I'd also recommend:

Im a PTA and bought these shoes for the comfort and durability. So far they have been holding up great and my feet don't hurt after being on them 10 hours a day!

Supportive and soft to walk on. I wear them at work, where I am standing on a hard floor all day. Love them.

I ordered these shoes because of my plantar fasciitis. My foot has complete support without the feeling of a chunky clunky shoe. I have also gotten several compliments. I'm on my feet minimum 12-14 hours a day between my health care job and my delivery driver job and these shoes get me through the day.

Rotating with Hoka Arahi. Feels slightly less wide in 2E and firmer however comfortable and responsive.

These are my third pair of Brooks Glycerin 20 GTS shoes. I have worn other Brooks shoes, too, including the Beast over the years. I am a distance walker day in and day out and I wear them for 6-7 months before replacing them. These shoes might be the best I have ever owned for walking. The sole is very cushiony and the sole last far longer than my old New Balance soles ever did. I rate these shoes as 6 stars in a 1-5 rating. Don't change a thing, Brooks!

i am not a runner, maybe better said a survivor, i have been limping around for years, bad knees, than failed knee operations, walking was more than difficult, but research led me to brooks, more research led me to a variety of brooks models of footwear, i now have 2 pair of brooks, the glycerin and adrenaline both GTXs, and both make my life better, walking has become better and i will admit the looks of both pair of shoes is a step up from my other big brand athletic shoes.

These shoes are unbelievable! I have had leg injuries and major surgeries in the past, and these make things feel normal.
My ONLY complaint is that the color selection for the GTS (pronate/stability) is different than for Neutral, and is not nearly as good. Please, Brooks, make the colors the same for the two lines, with the next generation.
Sizing runs small. I'm a 13 normally; with these I'm a 14.

Very comfortable. I'm a barber and stand all day and these shoes have basically eliminated my foot and knee pain.

Very comfortable, I got the wide version and they work well for people with wide feet. Super cushy.

Twenty bucks more than the model I bought last time. But possibly actually worth it. One of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I’ve ever owned.
