I've worn out several pair of Gllycerin 19's walking. I've learned my feet are very sensitive to proper footwear. I have always been able to order a size 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly. When I put the 8 1/2 20 on, they really don't fit perfectly. I had ordered them, and had them on hand too long to return them, so I'm going to wear them as is. They aren't horrible, but they also aren't perfect. I went to a local Academy store and tried the size 8 and it fits exactly like the 8 1/2 19 did, so i''ve learned a lesson. I would never have thought that the size would have changed. I do like the feel and cushioning of the 20. I just wish it fit a little better.

I thought Id never wear running shoes for regular wear. A friend told me she wore Brooks. I looked them up and went to a local distributor of Brooks. They suggested Brooks 22s and I also ordered the 20s online. Needless to say they are fabulous. I can stand out in the shop and with 2-3 hours and also wear them around my day of going around. I rotate the two pairs I have. Thank you for making good good shoes! I like like like my Brooks. Id run in them if my common sense tells me youll wear out your knees quicker, .

Excellent Cushions for my rotten feet. Somewhat less stability/support than my old Beast 18s, but the Glycerins are described by Brooks in the shoe description as such. I'm very happy with the first two weeks with these shoes. I hope the cushion will last a long time.

I have around 4 degrees of rearfoot valgus (moderate flat feet) and have worn the adrenalines for around 10 years, thought I would try something with more cushion and still have support. These offer minimal/no arch support and maybe 1 degree of rearfoot correction. (The old adrenalines (pre-18) would offer about 3 degrees, and after 18 around 2.) So if you need a VERY mild rear foot correction with a lot of comfy cushion these would be great. These may even be good to wear non custom orthotics in. You would not want to wear customs in them as they would most likely overcorrect.
I am a physical therapist that does custom orthotics so I know a lot about shoes, so heed my warnings! Good luck!

I've been waiting for years to try out a shoe with more cushioning, and man oh man am I ever happy I did. They feel like I fantasized they would feel - how often can you say that? - which is to say they provide a level of cushioning that is an order of magnitude better than what I was experiencing with the Adrenaline.

This is my third Brooks Glycerin pair & my first disappointment. The cushioning is simply not as robust as the previous pairs. My feet were actually sore after an admittedly high impact session, but this never happened with the previous shoes. Plus the laces are too short!

I love this shoe. It's stylish, comfortable, stable, great for walking. I do wish it had a little more pep in the cushioning. I'm a BIG guy, I wear orthotics, and I found that this shoe needs a little break in period. After wearing the Glycerin GTS 20 a few times I knew I would buy another pair for walking. I understand now that the Levitate 6 GTS may be a little better suited for my fitness needs. But this is definitely one of the most plush running shoes I have ever worn. Brooks you're on to something with nitrogen infused super critical foams on the midsole. I would love more colorways with dark midsoles. The way asphalt rubs off on your shoes in the desert looks awful. Aside from those minor gripes... I'm a satisfied customer and will be ordering a few more pairs.

So I only wore Ghosts for years. The local running store was out and only had these in stock. Let me tell you, I love them! They support my feet and running style perfectly. When I run I feel like I faster and running on a cloud.

I suffer from flat feet which also effects by knees and ankles. At times its debilitating where I have to basically rest for 2-4 days. With these shoes, those problems have disappeared. I can now walk like I used to (4+ miles a day) and return home pain free in the evenings. I am now a firm believer of these shoes and Brooks (this is my first pair of Brooks). Also, these shoes add about 1-2 inches to your height - so youll be taller! The cushioning in these shoes is like no other and the guardrail system really keeps my foot from over pronating.

I've been using Brooks shoes for a little over a year and this is my 3rd pair. I was previously a Hoka only wearer. Brooks seems to have a more stable quality when ordering shoes (I know what I order is going to be the same as what I tried on in the store). My local store is small and doesn't carry many color options. My only reason for 4 stars is that Brooks shoes don't seem to last quite as long as I would like and don't have any shoes that give me an all-day comfort. If I am going to be on my feet all day, I have to bring 2 pairs and swap them out after several hours because they don't rebound until after I've been off them for several hours.

Went to fleet feet and got specially fitted, this was the second pair of shoes I tried on and I immediately knew they were the ones - Took them on my first 15k and not a single blister / mark / ache in my feet - truly an incredible pair of shoes, I even bought a second pair just to wear everyday, its hard to go back.

I have worn NB for over 10 years but was looking for a change and found the Glycerin GTS. I absolutely love these shoes. Super comfortable, not too soft, and just the right amount of support without feeling clunky. I highly recommend them!

The fit is true to size and my toes were never squeezed together . The tongue , collar , and heel are well padded and holds you in place . The uppers and lacing makes this shoe complete . Cushion , comfort , quality ! I run on loose gravel trails , sidewalks , pavement and forest park trails . Daily trainer pure luxury and a little support . Basic pronation - neutral shoes with light structure " This is the shoe " I also love my Glycerin 20 both are in my daily rotation .

I usually go with the adrenaline and will probably return to them. Glycerine is ok, but I think I prefer the adrenaline. Expensive experiment.
