First time buyer of a Brooks shoe and now I know what everyone has been raving about. This is, perhaps, the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. As I have gotten older, it has become more and more difficult to find a shoe that fits. But this shoe checked all the boxes.

The factory shoelaces that come with this shoe are the worst shoelaces for a shoe that I have ever used for any shoe from any company. On a 10 mile run, the shoelaces would untie at least two times per run; even if I tied the strings as tight as possible. The shoelaces, sadly, were pure, unadulterated garbage. Now, with all of of that said, shoelaces are EASILY replaceable. I replaced the shoelaces, and Brooks immediately jumped on the opportunity to send a different style of replacement shoelaces to me. As an overall shoe, this is the best shoe that I have ever used for long distance running. The ride is comfortable and enjoyable. Brooks has knocked it out of the park with this shoe. WONDERFUL job!

I have only wore them around the house and they seem very comfortable.
I am a 71 yr old woman who is very actve and Ihave been buying Brooks for years.
The Glycerin 20 is a good investment.

Just received these shoes today, finished my first run and I couldn’t be happier! I’m 6’4” 275lbs with somewhat narrow feet for my build with tons of past foot, ankle and achilles problems. My custom orthotics are thick and padded and just don’t fit well in most shoes. I’ve been using various Hoka model shoes (neutral) with the orthotics for several years and haven’t been too thrilled. I receive lots of support from the orthotics so I didn’t want to go the full stability shoe route but the neutral models just don’t work well and my feet track all over the place. The Brooks Glycerin 20 GTS fit my large orthotics perfectly and the guide rails on the shoes provide just enough support to keep my feet tracking straight and holy cow are these so cushioned and comfortable! I’m back online to buy some backup pairs!

Nice and comfortable right out of the box, wear for work on concrete floors usually 10 hour days. First night worked great no issues, I do wear orthotics and they fit nicely in shoe. Ordering another pair today before they are gone.....

I’m pretty tall and heavy and these provide excellent cushion and stability. The soft soles don’t provide quite as much cushion as my New Balance Freshfoam but they do provide more isolation from gravel and sticks on the bike/walking trails where I like to run. I’ll probably use these more for when the trails are not wet an muddy and my New Balance on the street.

Very comfortable first day wearing 10 hours at work on concrete floors. Was looking for support and cushioning, so far feels great. I wear Spenco memory foam arch supports and they fit perfect with them. I will be buying more before they are gone.

Nice and soft, but not marshmellow. Looking for cushion for 62 year old knees but not sloppy.
I usually run in Nike's, and have tried HOKA. Nike fit great for my narrow feet.
HOKA's feel overly soft.
My feet are 10.5 but narrow. Still trying to figure out where these fall in between. Great feel, but a little loose in the fore foot.

These shoes are perfect for the gym. They are very supportive for someone that has a wide flat foot like myself. When running on treadmill they have very good cushioning and help you bounce with minimal impact on your body.

I invest a lot in my shoes for my runs. I have used a lot of shoes for running. This shoes are definitely the lightest. The shoes are comfortable and are true to the size. Its got a breathable framework.. Upon using the shoes I find that it has good support and cushioning and no strain on my feet while running. It is definitely a good for running be it a short or long run. The shoes provides very good balance and stability especially in rugged terrain.
Having said all these this shoes might not be my first choice for activities other than running. I tried using it in the gym for strength training activities and quickly realized it not designed for that. However, I reach for it every time, I go out for a run.
Over all I think is a wonderful shoe for running and will be my go to shoe especially for my long trail runs.
Looking forward to used it through the different seasons.
