I had an older pair of Transcend that these were replacing - supposedly just as plush/cushiony. Sadly, that is not the case. They are just okay.

Definitely over rated - wasn't that comfortable to me and in fact feet hurt after a few hours - lavender shoe laces on this navy color is absolutely hideous too!

The first time I used these shoes an existing knee problem showed up to the point I almost couldn't go on walks. After 3 weeks of trying to use these shoes for my walks I gave up and put on my old Brooks Ghost 12's and my knee problem is almost a non-issue now. The shoe itself may be great for someone else and they are a nicer looking shoe than he Ghost 12.

The Glycerin GTS 20 is a disappointment, the fabric on top of the foot is too stretchy and flimsy for a secure, snug fit. Runs atleast half a size larger. I don’t feel safe running with it, my foot moves around easily for a secure landing. Walking could be a better use for this pair. The toe room is way too generous for regular width feet, the toes splay loose (and I don’t have narrow feet). Wanted to try the nitrogen injected footbed but I don’t feel any difference between the Adrenaline GTS 22 and this pair in terms of cushioning. The adrenaline, in fact, offered a better fit and comfort, and a more sleek visual of the soles.

By far not the best. Ghost 13 was the best ever. Know numerous customers that are changing brands because the Ghost 13 are not available. Including myself. They were the best brooks and I have worn many styles.

I broke all my metatorsal bones and several in 2 places been really hard to find a pair of shoes that didn't rub on the bottom of my metatorsals. Most like these are rubbing a knot on the bottom of my foot.. Very painful

Purchasing these was the biggest, most painful mistake I have made regarding shoes. I was so disappointed. I have worn Brooks for 3 years now, have purchased Brooks shoes for nearly every member of my family, including extended family, and this purchase was horrible for me. I was looking for new shoes, took the shoe quiz to see which one would be recommended for me and my needs, and these were one of the models that the quiz suggested. The width is fine, the toe room is fine, and they are okay for just wearing, but not for performance. I went on vacation with these, walked a nature trail one day, walked around a zoo another day, walked around town, then finally took them to work and tried them. Each day I tried them, I could not wait until I took them off due to the pain in the middle of my feet; it felt as though my foot was going to break in half, absolutely excruciating. Brooks will probably be getting these back which makes me sad because I have seen other people with this same model and they love them, they just don't work for me.

Only wore them two days and caused major knee pain and made me feet hurt worse.

I have worn this model for years and am not very happy with what seems to be a change in the sizing. My normal 7.5 is way too big, feels sloppy on the forefoot and I have to wear 2 pair of socks just to get them to feel somewhat normal Then I tried the size 7 and they were too small and felt super stiff and hard. I'd like to buy more on sale but...

The sizing was way off. I ordered the exact same shoe and size (7) as I own and they were way too big. Unfortunately, I just placed them in my suitcase for my 3 week trip thinking they would be perfect. I had to wear 2 pairs of socks so that would not slip. I measured them side by side when I got home. They were a 1/2 inch larger when measured with a tape measure.

First let me say I've been wearing Brooks for years. However, I found the Glycerin GTS to be very uncomfortable due to the extended guard support which somehow prevented the toe box from expanding enough for me. I have narrow heals, but need a wider toe box. I ended up returning and purchasing the regular Glycerin which had much more give in the toe box but offered good support for my pronation.

These have always been my go to. However, the material that this(grey top shoe with paint drip bottom) is made out of makes the tongue slip regardless of the way i tie the shoe. I have tried a few different ways and no matter what i have to stop 3-4 times on a longer run to retie the shoe. They look cool but this particular style is no good. I wear these out on the town but do not wear them running any longer! I am in my old shoe for running right now.

Not the same, much stiffer with little cushion. Returned them.

The shoes could use just a little more cushion. I expected more support for the price .

I would love to see more cute shoes in size 12 wide. I love girly shoes, but you only have certain colors in my size. I get all excited about a glycerine style, then no 12 wide. Very sad.

Disappointing. Love my Trace shoes. These feel narrower and surprisingly less stabilizing. Meant to return these but got sick.

I work on my feet all day and chose these because they have a little more cushion. I have worn them for 3 shifts and my feet haven't been happy. I typically wear a different brand that has a little more cushion at the same price point and don't have the pain I get with these. The only thing I like is the fun colors!

I have used Glycerin GTS 19 for a few years now. Love them. Excellent cushioning and arch support. Roomy toe box. I expected the same from the 20s but was sadly disappointed. Not nearly as supportive or cushiony as the 19s. Toe box feels smaller as well. Went back to wearing my worn out 19s. Hope Brooks can go back to the old model when the 21s come out.

I usually get the glycerin. I had bought the glycerin 19 and it is the most comfortable shoe I have ever had. I got the glycerin 20 and my feet hurt after the first day wore them a few weeks then returned them. Soles are different and not as comfortable.

It is not the Transcend. Not the same cushion and toe bed is huge! Very disappointed and not fair to the customer to advertise that it is the new Transcend.

Seemed like they would be comfortable but sizing was off. I usually wear a 9 in Brooks, they were too short in this shoe. Returned and ordered a 9.5

I've worn the Glycerin for years. The Glycerin 20 did not work for me at all. The 8.5 was to short in length and the 9 was to big. There was enough width, but shorter in length then the older versions. Maybe due to the sneaker being pointy in front. I hope that the 21 model will be better for me.

Love the overall design, style and the new colors just totally rock so I'm giving 2 starsbut I've been a hardcore glycerin fan since the 14's and my 19's have finally broken down and I ordered the 20's and am hugely disappointed. My feet have been just KILLING me every time I wear these! Tried them for over a few weeks thinking maybe I had to break these ones in. Sadly I finally had to just give in and return them. Not sure what changed but it wasn't for the 'good' for me. Back to the running store to search. So Disappointed!

As a longtime customer, the Brooks Glycerin line has been my go to shoe. Years ago I was fitted with Glycerin 17 shoes at a running store and LOVED them. They were the most comfortable shoe ever - I told everyone that they were like having little pillows strapped to your feet (nerdy, I know). I went on to the Glycerin 18's after that. I purchased the Glycerin 20's hoping for the same 'ultra cushiony' fit, but these shoes were disappointing. I felt the soles were rigid with virtually no cushion at all! What happened Brooks?! I did give 2 stars because the styling is nice as usual, but these shoes are a no go for me and I will be returning them and sadly continuing on my 'next shoe' hunt.

I have been buying the Glycerin GTS (and what is was called before) for the past couple years and was surprised to find that the Glycerin GTS 20 fits larger than the Glycerin GTS 19 and the previous make. The Glycerin GTS have been my staple running shoe for multiple years and multiple half marathons so I was very disappointed. I would say they are about a half size too large unfortunately. I would recommend sizing down a half size to anyone who is looking to replace their Glycerin GTS 19.
