Comfortable but run big, I am usually a 10.5 in running shoes and will need to for sure get some insoles to make them tighter.

I wore Adrenaline GTS for 15 years but needed additional cushioning. The Glycerin is a lighter shoe and has more bounce/cushion. I went down by 1/2 inch in sizing after being evaluated in the running store, and still have enough room in the toe box.

I don't run, not at all, unless something is chasing me. I got these because they were recommended at a FleetFeet store. I wear them with custom orthotics. I like the extra room around the toe box area, which I need. I've worn them about a month now. I can tell that they breathe well because I have felt cool air on my feet when I've worn them with thin socks on chilly days. As far as reducing knee discomfort (I have osteoarthritis in one knee), I have not noticed a difference. I have not had them long enough to comment on how long the sole lasts, but I hope to get a season out of them and then get the 21s next year when they go on sale!

Not a runner but Brooks are great for long days. My first pair were the glycerin 18 and they were a dream. I haven't found any as comfy. These aren't either. They're comfy as in they still hug my feet. But I feel pressure on the bottoms.

Good, although I still haven't found anything that is as comfortable as my hiking boots are. I chose these shoes so I could take out the insoles and add more supportive one. I bought these purposely last season to get a better deal. Looking at the 21 version it looks like there's better colors. I just wish brooks had better colors of shoes and designs.

I dud find great support in this shoe. It does have a slightly larger toe box but I was really hoping for more cushioning.

I have a pair of glycerin gts 19 which have been the best running shoes I've ever had. I was so pleased with them because I'd finally found a shoe I could wear all day without my feet hurting. They are getting worn out so I ordered the gts 20. I'm so disappointed; they are way too roomy in the toe box, so I had to return them. I hope I can find another shoe as comfortable as the gts 19.

Daughter likes them as part of her rotation. She is an avid Adrenaline wearer but these are a bit softer. She also uses them for her warm-up laps before putting on her spikes during track days.

Great shoe, fit like a glove from the moment of putting them on. The cushioning in the sole for support is nice but for the way I run it was actually too thick and feels too wide on the sides, my feet would scrape the ground a little bit. I decided to go with a different style with a little less around the sole.

First time purchasing this style. True to size. Comfortable. Wide toe box. My only complaint: the laces. They do. Not. Stay. Tied. I have to stop & re-tie them at least 8 times a day. Soooo annoying.
Sure, I can double knot, but that doesn't solve the original problem

The fit is good but I personally like Levitate. I feel the soles on the Glycerin flares out too much. But I am so glad I started wearing Brooks shoes!

Good supportive shoes. I did have to swap out the insole for orthotics to improve my own comfort, but that is probably a me problem and not a short coming of the shoe. The top of the toe box is pretty thin, which I'm sure helps with air flow, but also leaves my toes a little chilly on these cold winter days. Also, it does not keep any water out on rainy days. All in all, these are a good, supportive shoe.

The fit is good but I feel they aren't as comfy as a lot of reviews I read about them claimed. Even with my superfeet inserts, my feet still hurt after wearing the Glycerins for a day. Also I find the shoe laces come untied, unlike any other pair of Brooks that I have owned.

Love the shoe but the shoestrings will not stay tied. Frustrating.

I bought these shoes for Disneyland and they were amazing! No foot or leg pain. Like a cloud but with support. Then I wore them for work. Probably my favorite pair of sneakers until seven months later when I got a toe hole. This didn’t surprise me because despite fitting great my weird toes rubbed against the very thin material in the toe box. I guess I should have sized up but the fit was perfect and I feel a bigger size would have been too big. I have very high arches and because of this my toes are sort of arched as well. So I dropped the rating because yes the material is breathable but not durable.

I like the shoe, as I always get this model. However, the laces are horrible! They come untied 1-2x on any of my walks, even if I tie them tight. I really hope Brooks drops these laces and goes back to the old ones.

The fit was slightly big, but very comfortable. They are perfect for walking, and I can wear thicker socks. For some reason, I can’t get the tongue to stay straight in any of my Brooks sneakers. They either move to the right or left, possibly due to the shape of my feet. Overall, I would buy these shoes again.

these were very cushiony and comfortable if you do not need a lot of support. my orthotic didn't seem to fit well in this one. i could have worn these but i wasn't crazy about the color and like the levitate better.

A second best to the cushioned comfort of the Transcend Brooks discontinued.

I did not try on the shoes because the lilac laces were a deal breaker.. they don't look like lilac laces on the picture.

I still miss the adrenaline gts 21, but these are a decent pair of running shoes. The adrenaline gts 22 were so far off from the 21 (23 is strangely hard as a rock) and I could not find a good replacement for so long that my running just completely fell off the map. These shoes are so important to someone with pronation or an injury etc. Please stop making major changes to a good model! Anyway, I like these and so I bought multiple pairs to be safe. They don't bounce so much that they hurt your knees. They don't cut into the achilles. They feel snug and supportive and I don't feel like my foot will roll off the thick sole. Good toe box. Shoe laces that are actually long enough and stay tied. In adrenaline gts I was getting an 8, but I sized down to 7.5 and I'm happy with that choice. I'll probably try to snag at least one more pair so I don't lose all my training progress ever again. I'm still mad about my 21s if you can't tell lol.

I like that this style of shoe seems to have a little more room in the toe box which is nice if you have bunions. This shoe has a neutral support which is fine for some. However, I need a shoe with a lot more support so I prefer my adrenaline brooks for that reason.

These are different from the previous gts 19 model, but still a solid shoe. I am not a fan of the new DNA GTS, it feels a bit squishy as opposed to the soft but springy feel of the gts 19. This gts 20 also seems a bit roomier than the gts 19. Overall it is still the best fit for my foot which is wide wide in the front with a narrow heel. I wish more models came in wide widths.

These shoes do not really feel true to size. They are just a tiny bit too short, but I know that it would bother me on a long jog. A half size larger would definitely be too big and wide. I normally get Brooks Ghost, size 9, and I thought I'd try upgrading to the Glycerin. But the arch support seems less fitted to the bottom of my foot, in addition to the slight shortness at the big toe. Too bad. They look very nice and make my size 9 feet look a little smaller. Back to the Ghost.

Love the style and colors. Glycerins are one of my fave running shoes. Great quality, as always. Could use a smidge more cushion, but do provide a good amount. I have several pairs and will continue to have them as a staple for road and treadmill running.
