I am not a runner. My feet and ankles are a mess because of a medical issue. I had to have my ankles fused, one 5 years ago, the other 4 months ago. This is the most comfortable shoe ever! Right out of the box, I put it on, first with an ankle brace, now just the shoe. I love them and because my feet are a mess I wear these shoes everywhere, including church.

Love my shoes. 20K walking average for 2 years. Looks amazing. I rotate 5 pairs and always feel brand new. 2 years and never break down.

I???ve been running for 47 years and tried every brand. This is the best, most cushioning shoe I???ve tried, like running on air.Love this shoe and it???s my fourth pair.

I bought these as a work shoe ( Patient Transporter at a hospital ) theses are the only shoes that get me through a 10 hour shift . Easily 15000 steps a shift sometimes closer to 20000. Other shoes made my feet hurt Thank you Brooks

My husband loves his Glycerin 20. This is his fourth pair. He said he never knew shoes could be so comfortable. He did need to go up a half-size.

Super light and well cushioned shoe. Purchased a men???s 14 (based on my Glycerin24???s) but the size 14 felt too tight and up-sized to a 15. Size 15 feels a little too roomy I probably fall comfortably between the two sizes but for marathons 15 will probably be my friend anyway. I???m also running in the Georgia Winter and when summer comes my feet will probably thank me on the longer runs ;)

Like all Brooks shoes glycerin 20 are the most comfortable footwear you can buy. I have been walking in Brooks for about 10 years now, and have no intention of ever wearing anything else Great quality, great look, fantastic comfort.

Very nice shoe. The updated look was a big positive and the fit and feel are outstanding! Been in the rotation for a couple weeks now and may just take over top position.

Nice shoe, but too tight in the toe box so I had to return. I’m a 13 and my big toe came all the way to the end of the shoe. Shame truly because they were very comfortable, stylish, and light, weight-wise. Anyhow, Zappos rules. Time to ship back and try and new pair of brooks…

I just bought my second pair of Brooks shoes...I have had the first pair for a couple of months...I liked them so much I chose a second pair...(different "model")..... I love them, too. Honestly, I think they are the most comfortable shoes I've every worn.

I've worn Glycerin exclusively for years. This specific pair feels different than the pair of Glycerin 20 I purchased a year ago ... stiffer and a little more snug for some reason. I'm still a fan though.

I am picky with shoes, but hey, I'm in my 40s now, and life is too short to spend time wearing shoes that make me even the slightest bit unhappy. Here is what is important to me, more or less in order of priority: a flexible upper that does NOT dig into the top of my foot when it bends with my steps (it's shocking how many shoes do this—does that go away after breaking them in? I prefer not to bother trying to find out), at least some arch support, wide enough for my wide feet, breathable, overall comfort, good look/style (not too flashy, ideally something mostly neutral with some accents), able to slip on and off without tying/untying, the tongue doesn't slide too far to the side, holds heel in place, good for walking/everyday use (not for running; I work in an office but some of my work requires a lot of standing and walking and hauling equipment), lightweight. I usually have two pairs of shoes I alternate every other day. After three years of the same two pairs of shoes, it was finally time to find some more. This is for casual everyday wear. I set my budget at a maximum of one hundred twenty dollars for each pair. Over the past few weeks, I tried 20 different pairs of shoes. Of those 20, only three were acceptable, and from there I narrowed it down to two: this Brooks Glycerin 20 Wide, and another pair from a different brand from a different website. Basically, this shoe checks ALL my boxes. The sole is cushiony. These shoes are very lightweight and breathable—I owned a pair of Brooks a bunch of years ago (that I used almost exclusively for running, not daily casual wear) and I loved those, too. There's a kind-of-thick seam that runs across the top of my foot, where the laces end toward my toes, where the bottom of the tongue meets the upper. There was a day recently when I felt it surprisingly strongly, pressure. But then the next time I wore them it was fine. Loosening the laces helped. Not too concerned about it. Something to watch for. I felt it more just sitting around, and less when I was actually taking steps, so I bet these would be great for running. Sorry I'm not running in these, Brooks. The arch support is good. On a scale of 0% = flat and 100% = waaay too much, then 55% is probably right where I would ideally want it to be in a shoe. These shoes are probably at 53% on that scale. I only just barely made my final decision about 10 days ago so I only have limited experience to base a review on. So, you're not getting an "I've worn these for six months and here's my report" review from me here, but I hope someone out there still finds value in this. And it's going very well so far. I recommend you give these a try. You've done it, Brooks. You created one of the best shoes I've ever worn. Give the designer(s) a raise.
I'd also recommend:
Asics, Nike, Under Armour, Ecco, Dr. Scholl's, and maybe Saucony,
