I am returning these shoes. I have a very narrow foot and need a good solid arch support and a solid footing! Normally, "narrow" shoes are too wide! This shoe was so uncomfortable and narrow with not enough toe room. My foot really felt squished! and on top of that the heel and sole narrowed, placing more weight on the center of the foot and giving a very unstable feeling to the shoe. Totally uncomfortable!! For Trotters? Not good.

At first the shoes were stiff and felt constricting, but after 2 wears, they loosened up to an appropriate fit, I feel. So, the first impression was that the shoes ran narrow and felt stiff, but now they feel fine both in terms of fit and comfort. The support is moderate, which is adequate for this style of shoe. Also, there was/is a kind of ridge on the inside of the shoe where the tongue is attached to the top side of the shoe, that rubbed against my foot the first time I wore it. Obviously it is still there, but for some reason, I don't feel it now upon breaking in the shoe - so maybe the shoe expanded a bit. Plus, I am wearing socks with it. It is a sleek shoe so the socks must be on the thinner side though. I was mildly negative about the shoe at first based on above, but since wearing it a little more, now really like it! I'm glad I liked the style well enough to really give it a chance. It runs true to size as I am a true narrow width and it does not slip when I walk.

The fit and size are perfect for me. These will be great for long walks when I don’t want to wear my runners. Good for travel, and general wear around. I love the pewter color; it dresses the shoe up a bit. I’ll see how they wear. So far so good.

I loved the look of these shoes and so wanted to keep them. They fit well, but there were too many places that hurt and rubbed my toes and heels. And, sadly, I didn't feel these places would ultimately "work themselves out" so they'd be comfortable with wear.

I have foot injuries from martial arts and wear orthotics so has been challenging to find half size, plus true white leather. The leather is soft and although I cannot use the normal orthotics, I can use a 3/4 insert. I ordered three pair as we live in a small town and there is no good shoe store here. Happy that Zaps has free shipping and returns.

Was totally hesitant to buy these shoes because other "slip on" style tennis shoes have the tendency to look cheap or not fit correctly in the back. These are leather and stylish, and fit like a regular tennis shoe. The only bad thing is that the leather is very soft, so you need to be careful with these you don't knick the fabric. They are the slightest bit tight in the toe area, not enough to be uncomfortable, but if you are looking for slip on's that fit like Crocs this is not your shoe. These have a very reinforced back that you have to be careful when putting on it's very rigid. However, the shoes have a very large loop in the back to help them slip on. Happy with purchase, have worn for a week and like them so far.

I am a 10 N and these were perfect. I wore them all day today with comfort. Looking forward to styling in Europe next week. I got a lot of compliments on the style.

Perfect for my tiny but wide feet, and are easy on/off. No laces - just elastic, and fit so nicely. Going to get another pair in a different color.

I ordered my usual size, but the fit was tight. I loved everything else about them, so I reordered half a size larger, and they’re perfect now.

I love this shoe. I wear 11AA and it was perfect in width and length. I own two pairs and wish it was made in some spring colors.

Very sharp looking, but, evidently, I'm no longer a size 11!! :( The toe box is a little too narrow for my wonky toes. Too bad.

I could not tell about the arch support because i couldn't get my foot in this beautiful shoe.I don't know what happened, but it just would no work out for me due to the narrowness of the shoe.Thanks to Zappos for their perfect customer service!

LOVE these shoes! They fit like a glove first time on. Great construction and quality of materials.

Very nice looking, quality built shoe but sadly too tight. I normally wear narrow which I ordered. No amount of wearing would have made them comfortable. I have to return them and am very disappointed that there are no medium width shoes available as exchange.

for once i found a narrow that was truly a narrow! will try other trotter shoes

I have a narrow foot so I thought this would be great. However, it feels extremely narrow in the toe area. I have to return them.

The seam hit right on my pinky toe, I knew I would have a blister if worn for any period of time. Came up rather high toward the ankle.
