I have been looking for a shoe like this since my last similar pair wore out 4 years ago. I FINALLY found a shoe that fits well and looks great. I have a very high arch, narrow heel, and almost despair of finding a shoe to meet my needs. This shoe does all that. Thank you, Trotters!

Really comfortable. From all the reviews I read I ordered an 8 with a wide width because there was no M width. I wouldn’t consider my foot wide but my feet fit comfortably with room for no show socks. I believe it was true to size. There’s a tiny bit of room in the sides of the shoe so they’re not snug on me but I enjoy how they fit. I also read how people wear complaining about the toe area but my was not hard. I think it’s just because I got a different material/ style. The whole shoe was a nice plushy leather. If you want more of a snug fit maybe just go up one width size but I went up two width sizes so I have room for no show socks.

I recently discovered the Liz loafers and now own 3 pairs. My feet are a true 10.5 M, and it is so wonderful to not have to cram them in a size 10. There are very few shoe companies that make a 10.5 (not sure why; I can't be the only one in the world that wears this size!). To have a shoe of this quality and comfort is really amazing. Thank you so much....and don't ever stop making them: I have a lot more colors to get!!

I had to experiment a bit with size and ended up buying a half size smaller in wide. Everybody's foot is shaped differently, though. (It would be nice to have printable outlines of the sizes and widths -- hint, hint!) Also, different websites offered different outer materials. I wanted the quilted outer, not the woven one. So it took a bit of looking. I haven't worn it much yet so I don't know about the durability, but it seems to be well-constructed.

Have loved this shoe style for years. Bought the black and purple. Black shoe was a little stiffer, but broke in after a few wears. Such a versatile shoe goes from office to play. Will be buying other colors soon!

I normally wear an 8 but returned those for an 8 1/2 which are perfect. These shoes are classic and oh so comfortable. I love the matte leather finish which looks good with dress pants as well as jeans.

This shoe is very comfortable while still being stylish. It is versatile and can be worn for work, dress occasions or leisure. I purchased the functional colors, blue, black and white and wore them so frequently that I had to purchase another pair of black. Can't go wrong with this shoe.

I have this shoe in several colors and love it! This the 3rd pair have ordered in Navy, so I always have a nice pair that goes well with jeans. Wear them all the time. I hope it is never discontinued. Love it!

Have bought this shoe (Liz) in 3 colors for about 15 years. I wear them daily, for housework, for travel through airports and cities, with jeans or more dressy slacks. As one pair wears out after 4 or 5 years or more, I shift it for use in the yard and buy a new pair to replace them. The arch support could be just a tad better, but they still work for me because I wear a thin orthotic in them. They are extremely durable, the woven leather style is classic and the color offerings are spot on. I presently have 4 pairs of varying age and condition. Love 'em!

I tried to order from a dealer that carries the Trotter label. For reasons unknown to me, the dealer no longer carried the item/color. For this reason, I pursued going to Trotters; and bingo, I lucked out and was able to get the size and match I wanted. Thanks.

I have a narrow heel so I like this too because the heel is snug. The toe is a little tight right now but I do think it will be stretching enough it will be comfortable. I wear a 12 narrow.

These shoes are wonderful! I bought them to wear with ankle length pants to interview for a new job. I wore them all day the first day. Although I did need bandaids for the heel, that is not unexpected unless I buy slippers :-) Nice, classic look without a high heel.
