The leather is stiff with no give at all. I expected softer leather and more give with the basketweave deign uppers. Very disappointing.

This shoe looks very attractive, but no matter what size I try, it does not fit. Started with my usual size 8 1/2 M, which was far too small and tight. Tried a 9 M, still too snug around the heel. Tried a 9W and now they are too loose. Regretfully returning!

I am so disappointed. I have this shoe and I love them. I ordered the same size and the same width, 8WW. I cant get it on my feet!!. I'll try again, maybe it was marked wrong. Hope so.

I have bought this style Trotter shoe for many years. Basically it takes six months to break it in, six months where it looks pretty good, and six months where it looks shabby. Then it falls apart. This time around, the new one was so uncomfortable my foot hurt. I am returning it for something more comfortable (hopefully). Thank goodness for Zappos.

I bought two pairs--one black and one navy. Black one is fine--maybe even a little snug over little toes if worn all day, but the navy pair--same size??? I walk out of. I almost sent them back and decided it would be all right but after wearing them one time I decided that pair was truly a waste of money--Like at least one other reviewer I have had each color in another manufacturer and have worn them until the shoe--the black pair, at least, was falling apart. Then that manufacturer started using rubberized soles. So after observing someone I see regularly wearing the Trotters I decided to give them a try. Wish I'd used my first instinct and returned the navy ones.

Lovely shoe. The fit is terrible. Felt great the first time I wore them. Of course, outside. It feels as if the back stretched and now my foot falls out of them. Can't wear them, can't return them. Very disappointing and expensive mistake.

I love the appearance of the shoe, but I have extremely narrow feet, especially my heels. The cut of the shoe must not be right for my feet, because the Super Slim I ordered still slipped on my heels and the toe box pressed on my toes. Unfortunately, I will have to send them back.

OVERALL: 0 Stars. The scale doesn't go low enough to rate this shoe. Within 1-2 weeks, the woven strips began to break and protrude, like a porcupine. I rewove and glued them back into place repeatedly. Within 4 weeks, the sole on the left shoe began to separate and flap. On the outer side of each shoe, the weave broke enough times to result in holes. BEWARE. This Trotter style used to be a favorite that I wore in many colors; manufacturing quality has plummeted. Given I wear 12AA, finding shoes is a challenge so I coped with these for about 6 weeks before new Munro's arrived.

This shoe looks great, and would be ideal - however, because of the material (patent leather), it squeaks so loudly. I wore it around the house to try and "break it in," but there's no ease up. There's no way I could wear these in an office without being heard from down the hall.

I had to have my shoes stretched by the shoemaker! They didn't feel like the Wide Width that I ordered!

This shoe is now about a half inch shorter than it has been the past few years. Way too short - had to return.

Had to return these. Adorable colors, great style. I've worn Trotters for years, usually in an 11. But suddenly I'm walking out of these due to the extremely wide heels. Tried dropping down to a 10 1/2, but they were still too wide. Odd to walk out of a shoe that's too small! Otherwise the color and style was wonderful. I originally planned to buy 3 colors, but can't get them to fit this year. Unfortunately they don't come in Narrow, so I had to send back the orange, fuschia and lime. Lime's especially pretty. If you can get these to stay on, they're nice. But I've lost another favorite shoe line to "super sizing."

Seriously? I've worn a size 6M forever. These are so short that my toes slam up against the tip of the toe box, and I can't even believe how narrow they are! Who are they making these shoes for?

I ordered two pair of these in different colors and same size. One fit a little too tight, and the other fit too loose. Go figure? This one also had a loose piece of leather that was not bound.

I have purchased Trotters before, and this shoe is not at all true to size as Trotters previously was. I am going to return the shoes! The style and color are really nice, but what good is that if the shoe does not fit? sorry but i simply had to write the truth. Sincerely,
