Fake leather! This company describes itself as making beautiful shoes from fine leathers. These are shiny and stiff, don’t look like leather and definitely don’t feel like fine leather. Trotters used to have fine shoes. Leather moulds to the foot, these don’t yield. They need to stop publishing their company description and to stop saying these are calf when they definitely are not. I believe that’s not legal. Very disappointed.

Overall a very nice looking shoe. The black leather was soft and had some give to it, likely good to accommodate bunion but still remain quite stylish. Overall the fit was true to size but my heel would not stay in the shoe when walking . I did try inserts and heel pad to fill in the gap but one foot continued to come out of shoe when walking. Sadly I must return the pair. I am ordering the LENA by Trotters because has adjustable strap and VERY similar style. Maybe the LENA will stay on my feet!

My foot is 4" wide at the widest point, I usually run a 9.5ww, and these fit really well. My heels stay in the shoe, and there's adequate material to actually cover the sides of my feet and be flattering. These are a beautiful loafer and seem well-constructed. The heel on the left foot does rub a little bit, but not enough to warrant a return, plus the leather is likely to soften with use. If these continue to wear well over the next several months, I will absolutely buy more of the Liz in different styles!

These shoes fit me perfectly and I like the style. I haven’t bought shoes on line very often before because they never fit very well. I will buy more now I think.

I have not worn them yet, but they felt very soft and comfortable.

This shoe never changes the size wide or fit. I have several colors. very comfortable. I even recycled a worn out pair for yard shoes!

This is the third different style of Trotters navy flats I’ve tried in the last few weeks, and the only one that fits my 11-N foot like the Trotters of a few years ago. The style and the darker navy color make this shoe a bit dressier. The sole and heel look like leather, but are of a non-skid material, which is a plus. Thank goodness these shoes are keepers!
