I have wide feet so it's hard finding professional shoes that fit. I bought them in a 9WW black (not patent leather) and they are soft and comfortable. These shoes in a WW fit my wide width while not being too long. The heels come together perfectly so they don't slip off! I love the seam and cut of the toe--the style comes off just right. The heel height is also perfect for my high arch. I wish they came in other flat colors--I'd buy a navy!

I think they are great! Just the bit of heel and so comfy!

I originally ordered the narrow, and when I walked my heel slipped out! So I tried the slim and the shoe fits great! I used to wear Hush Puppies, in a similar style, and ordered what they make now, and they also are too wide. Guess I will have to stick with the slim! Nice shoe!!

Wonderful overall. Beautiful black leather. If Doris came in Navy - the leather's beauty would be even better. It's a fine, soft but durable leather. Heel wrapped nicely w leather & perfect in height. Notch at center of toe box is elegant and gives some added stretch. However, toe box in general, has inadequate space for toes -- so they are constantly being squished. I got 6.5 & am a true 6.5. Toe box is a deal-breaker. They must go back.

Soft leather. The style is low heel but still not too frumpy. The toe area seems roomy on my old feet and bunions. So for me, all good.

Great shoes, but I guessed wrong on sizing based on past experience with Trotters running small. Order your usual style.

Super comfortable shoes right out of the box. They might not be the cutest shoes ever, but they are stylish enough for a professional office environment. Most importantly, I'll be able to stand and walk around on these shoes all day.

I bought the gray patent leather and they are truly gorgeous shoes! I have very wide feet and the extra wide was not wide enough for me to comfortably wear the shoes.

I loved the shoe. I wish it could have worked for me. My problem was the top edge of the shoe rubbed on my ankle bone. That was very uncomfortable. I can’t blame the shoe because I have that problem occasionally with shoes.

These shoes are so comfortable. The soles and heel are soft which makes standing and walking easier on my feet.

These shoes are beautiful, just what I wanted, but they are a tight fit, run on the narrow side, so sadly had to return.

I really liked the style of this shoe, but it just did not fit me. I usually wear an 8N, but Trotters usually run a little short so I ordered 8.5. The N wasn't available so I tried the S, but it is too tight.

I normally wear a 7.5 and ordered them in 7.5. Way too small

I wear either a 7 1/2 or 8 Narrow. At first I ordered the 8 N, but the heel was slipping off. I switched to the 7 1/2 N and it was snug, but not too tight to keep. The heel is comfortable for walking and the shoe looks smart with nice casual attire. I'm in my 70's so this is a good shoe for me, but probably a young person would prefer a more glamorous style. Trotter makes a good shoe and I have worn several of their styles through the years.

Beautiful shoe. Misleading color name. I appreciate everything about this shoe. I needed a white shoe and thought that white pearl would work. But white pearl is not at all white. I'd call it champagne or light gold. I returned this shoe but I'm glad to know it is out there. Many thanks to Zappos for such beautiful options and service.

Beautifully made shoe. Purchased for my mother for a wedding. She decided to wear sandals.

It's been hard for me to find a pair of skin-color shoes for my short, narrow foot. These were my only choice and I've been searching for over a year. They are lovely, classic and comfortable. Trotters shoes have worked well for me!
