Good fit and versatile pair of shoes- works for casual or more dressed up

I love how these zip completely open. I can just insert my sons foot with his ankle braces on and then zip up. So convenient with a toddler! Love the style, we receive numerous compliments on them. The high top supports his ankle and hides his braces. Our previous ones were the WDR width in size 5, I ordered these in size 6 as the others were starting to get small. These seem to be only slightly bigger than the others, I wish I would've gone 2 sizes up.

I have a two year old with ankle braces and I waited way to long to make this purchase!! Soo much easier to put on my little man and it's so worth every cent!! Thank you Billy!!

These were for my grandson who had club feet, and the Dr has added day time braces. These fit the bill, I do wish there would have been some more fun styles in his size.

Have tried many different shoes for my sons afos. Heard about Billy's and wanted to try them. Was actually surprised on the fit and how easy they was to get on. They are alittle tight at first. Will be ordering another pair soon.

Love these for ease of use and they are super cute! If you are using AFOs I would suggest going up a size and removing the padded liner. I bought a size 12 after going by the measurement guide and they are snug. Thankfully my little ones feet don't grow fast so these will work for now.

My son registered for a private school for special kids and it arrived a tiny bit late in Canada for the back to school time, but the school liked how it is a very suiting fit to the uniform standard. I am glad you have this version so my son who have feet orthotics still looks like the other kids. :) Thank you for existing, theses shoes really helps our family in everyday life! < 3

Love the style of shoe for SMOs just wish the zippers were more durable.

As an early childhood special education teacher with many students who wear SMO's and AFO's as well as a parent with a child who wears AFO's these shoes are great. My son has three to four lifts under his heals and the high shoe makes it easier for him to keep his shoes on! The one criticism I have on these well made shoes is the zipper pull! The small metal ring to pull the zipper seem like it will pull right off. It seems like there is something more durable on a nicely constructed shoe to pull up a zipper!

Over all I think they're wonderfully. I believe I got her medium width and the zipper is super close if not rubs on her pinky toe on one side. Also I thought the shoe strings were just for show but they're real, useable, shoe stings. Which I don't like cuz we have a problem with my daughter untying shoes. Other then those two things, they're wonderful. Less clunky then the shoes we got with her afosz and lighter weight.

We recently bought the Kid's Jersey Classic Lace High for our special needs, 9 year old granddaughter &; they have been very good so far. She was constantly kicking off her old shoes but with the Classic Lace Highs there's only been 1 occasion of a shoe coming off. The zipper &; rubber sole on the shoes appear to be of good quality. Since the sole itself is a rubber with recycled fabric portions, we will be curious to see how well they will wear over time. But best of all, we have FINALLY found Billy's - a company that offers footwear that is SO much easier to get on &; off.

Love this brand. It's so hard to find a good quality shoe that fits my daughter's Braces and we love that it makes everything easier with a large zipper and opening. This is her second pair.

Amazing concept for special needs. Simple easy wear

We have bought five pairs of Billy shoes for my grand daughter. Although they are great because of the zippers, three of the five pairs have come apart at the zippers after only a few months.

Too narrow sadly and cant return was on sale so had to buy 2 more pairs hoping these work

I love that Billy footwear has tons of prints. They seem to be a great shoe. They work amazing with my sons afo. The only down fall I have is the Zippers are not strong enough to last. They always seem to fall apart or break within a month of having the shoes worn.

I bought a pair of these for my 4 year old at Christmas. They arrived a little after the new year. First of all, I love these shoes so much, they make him so happy and he's able to run around and dance and play with his Afo's. Unfortunately in less than a month the zipper pulled out at the toe. I'm hoping that we just got a random fluke of a pair because they are so great otherwise. I am going to order another pair and hope they last at least half a year.

Zipper seems to rip apart from the soul over a few months.

My son got these month one month ago. We were super happy with them and they fit his inserts perfectly. However, both shoes have ripped on the seam in the zipper at the toe. My son just turned 2 a few days ago and I don't see how it's from him being too rough. We are still going to try more Billy shoes but a different style. Thought I would share our experience with these.

Don't order if your child really needs a wide or a half size. The next size up looks like a clown shoe on my 27 year old child with reticulated AFOs. I will be returning these. Ideally a 6 wide fits great with her AFO's but when that's not available a 6-1/2 usually works but neither of these are available in this shoe so I had to order a 7. Sad to return these. We liked the idea of supporting a good cause while buying a shoe. My daughter owns 3 other pairs of Billy's that are 6 wide or 6-1/2 size. She really wanted these too so she has more choices.

Shoes should have memory foam or pillow foam on the inside. They don't last long honestly you may get 2 months out of the them before they look like they've been run over by a car. I wish there was better options but this is it. They hardly fit around my sons brace anymore

They are nice. But offering no real support. They should have some type of memory or pillow foam on the inside. They are always hard as a rock. Boys don't get many cool options like girls and they boys are usually sold out. Also idn if it's just my son but a pair of Billy's only last him about 2 months before he wears them down and I have to buy another pair. They really are just for his brace but they aren't the best

Great product. Functionality is excellent; child has cerebral palsy.
