They are very comfortable. I have neuropathy and the tennis shoes were the best for my feet. Oh! Every one loved the colors, also.

Freakishly long. I wear an 8 in Asics running shoes but even the 7 1/2 in this shoe was an inch too long. I am a regular width in Asics running shoes but even the wide in the tennis shoe was too narrow.

These always run a bit narrow, but since I like my tennis shoes to be very tight, they work for me. I love the color, and the cushioning is excellent.

Great right out of the box. I have narrow-ish size 11.5, and these are the most comfortable tennis shoes I've worn. Great looking too.

I have exclusively worn Asics tennis shoes for years as they provide a great fit for me and have such good durability. I will be especially pleased with this pair if they help me play like Jennifer Brady and the other payers who were wearing them during the Australian Open.

I love Asics!!! Great customer service (which is sadly becoming rare these days), and on top of that, they are probably the best tennis shoes on the market. I have been a huge fan of the Gel Res series since the #6, which was Greatest of All Time status. The 7 was basically the same shoe but looked a little different. The 8, though, has a lot of changes. I love the 8 too, but my one and only complaint is the Dynawall. It needs to be positioned more towards the outer edge of the shoe. Part of this "wall" curves inwards, which is not conducive to stability. Even on the tiny image of the shoe at the top of the screen as I write this, I can see the cavity where the "dynawall" dips inwards. As much as I love this shoe, and Asics, I can't NOT point out that this is a design flaw. If anything that "wall" should be bulging *outwards*, not inwards. ... Anyways, I still love this shoe a ton. It is just flexible (responsive) enough; the traction is good without being sticky; the lacing system is very ingenuitive (love that!) - you can cinch the laces down tight where the forefoot flaps are, or leave them loose - it is up to you. They are comfortable, and on top of all that, they look really cool. I love this colorway! It looks like butterscotch, caramel, and cream.

Love the shoe, however, disappointed that there isn't adequate arch support considering the price of the shoe. Heel support is excellent. Shoe Constuction to prevent rolling is fantastic and toe protection is all there. Unfortunately, I had to buy a different custom insole to get heel and arch support. Should not have been necessary

A bit tight when you first put them on but gets better when you start playing. Need to change into other shoes after tennis.

Very comfortable. I'm usually 12-13 hours a day on my feet at work. I also like that I can wipe them off with ease and they look like new every time

I had trouble in past with plantar fasciitis but since wearing these I've not had any issues. Little or no break in needed.

It's a great show. I appreciate the fact that it's available in widths. I'd like them better if there were a greater drop from the heel to the toe. They're too flat for me.

Really like the look of the shoe. Not mesh nor leather? PVC? I wear M but ordered wide due to other reviews. Somewhat wide around lace up, but definitely needed W for bunion area. Pleased with purchase.
I'd also recommend:

I have narrow feet and ASICS is my go to brand because their regular width runs narrow. This style fit perfect, right length with my orthotics, great support and cushioning (even without the insert removed for my orthotics). And compared to other Asics it fit more snugly in the heel which I needed.

I have had difficulty with wear in other brands with Wide options. So far, this is holding up better than the others

Comfortable and sturdy shoes for the tennis court. Wore these shoes for the first time last night and a tight 3 set match. These shoes were definitely up for the challenge. I didn't think the GR8's would compare to the GR7's but they do! Highly recommend.

I have worn Nike Air Zoom Vapor tennis shoes for years. However, Nike has discontinued this shoe and I find the replacement unsatisfactory. So I switched to this Ascis shoe. It is a little heavier than the Nike, but overall I like it. It seems to provided good support, including ankle support, which I need as I have torn a ligament three times over the years. The shoe is very attractive (yellow is my favorite color). I ordered a full size up, as I did with Nike, and this size works, as does the width (my feet are slightly narrow). I have noticed a bit of heel slip and I need to tie the laces twice to keep them from unraveling on the court. I often order from an online tennis store but my size was not available. Zappos came through!

I love these sneakers, but I had to order a few pairs of the same size to get the right fit. They do run narrow-I like my tennis sneakers very snug, so they work for me.

I did not heed all the reviews that said this shoe is narrow. After all, I have never needed a wide width in *any* shoe, and often have to lace my athletic shoes very tightly to have a snug fit. I was wrong. These shoes are very solid, good quality, and exceptionally narrow. I could definitely wear the wide width without issue, but would probably size down a half size because my regular size seems a little long even in medium width.
