I ordered this shoe in my regular (Munro) size that I'd been wearing for years (9W). The front part fit well and was quite comfortable - but the heel area was far wider than my usual Munro size 9W's. If it hadn't been for the loose heel (which makes the shoe dangerously unstable to walk in) I'd have kept this pair - the style and (front shoe comfort) was great !

Unfortunately, Munro has adjusted in a way that does not work for me and according to the other reviews for others as well. They have made the toe box narrower and the heal wider - the wrong direction in my mind. Munro have always been the shoes that fit the best but in recent ones I walk out of the heel. The 8 was too short, the 9 was ok but with both the heal was too wide. I tried to pad and make them work but was unable. I used to wear narrow shoes but as one gets older the forefoot splays and so unable. The heal however is still narrow. I think this is a common problem. Munro was one of only shoes that worked but not with the way they are making them now. I really really wanted these to work but no luck. they are nice shoes but don't fit.

This shoe looked great online and in person. But the stretchy band that comes up the side attaches to the upper right at the most extreme part of my bunion. Even on my good foot, that part of the shoe was painful. Also the toe box narrows from both sides, putting pressure on my big toes. Definitely not the shoe for anyone with bunions or joint pain. Also, I always take a size 8, which I ordered, and it was a little short.

The shoes are beautiful. Unfortunately my bunion has made them unwearable for me. The Zappos people, however, are beyond wonderful. The made the return very easy. I will be ordering from Zappos again with confidence.

These are very cute for me, to wear with slacks. Unfortunately like many others noted the heel is really wide, I have ordered a size smaller, but not sure if that will fit either. I am returning them for that reason.

My foot is generally between a narrow and medium width, so I ordered medium width. These shoes were too tight across the ball of the foot, which really surprised me - I even double-checked that I had been sent the correct width. Wish they had worked - they're very nicely made and look like they would last well.

I love these shoes, but they were too wide. I normally wear a N, but these run large.

Like other reviewers, I found the wide toe box comfortable, but the heel slipped off both feet. I have to make another return. I can’t find well fitting shoes.

In both shoes there is a stitching ridge that is thick and rubs over the top of the big toe joint. Sadly it makes them entirely not wearable so I am returning them.

I was very disappointed in these Munro shoes. I have worn NOTHING BUT Munro shoes for about the last 15 years. I have narrow flat feet, and Munro shoes have always been perfect. Not only are they nearly impossible to find in a retail store, but now it seems they have lost the art of fitting narrow feet. This toe bed is too narrow and the heal is way too wide.

Sturdy and supportive without feeling clunky.

It is a very good fit with great support for the foot.

My foot is very difficult to fit. These shoes are my new favorite. There is no heel slippage whatsoever, yet my foot is not cramped. Even though I need a 10 Slim in most other brands, the Munro 91/2 N is perfect for me. I have other Munro styles, and the 91/2 N is consistently a good fit.

These are cute shoes that would be wonderful for travel. Unfortunately, the intersection of the leather and the elastic hit my bunion and rubbed. I will definitely try another size. One other note: the leather felt quite stiff and sturdy. I didn't have them on for very long because I knew instantly that the fit was wrong for me, so didn't really walk around in them, but that was my initial impression.

Munro shoes feel molded to my feet: so comfortable & supportive. And, they are stylish for a wide larger size. Thank you.

Love the shoes. They fit extremely well the only thing is they are a little heavy. Just wish you would get more narrows.

These are very comfortable shoes!

I love Munro shoes and I thought this shoe would fit me but it was too big and the heal was slipping and width was wider than my other Munro shoes. I ordered my right size and sad that they didn't fit well.

I find that Munro shoes tend to run short so I order a 1/2 size up. I usually wear a 6 in this brand and that is what I ordered. However, since the innersoles are removeable I am able to add extra padding and can usually make them fit perfectly and this also adds extra comfort. I added another thinner Munro innersole under the existing one and now they fit perfectly. I probably need a narrow width but they do not come in my size. I like this style since it is not too clunky but substantial enough to wear with winter clothes.

The size I ordered was much too large, so I sent them back. I can't really speak to the comfort or lack thereof for this shoe.

I am looking for a good travel walking shoe, and I thought this might be it as it is very supportive. Something just doesn't feel quite right when I try walking in them. They might be just a bit short.

I love Munros and I am going on a trip so I was excited to receive them. The 6.5 felt too small. Sadly I had to send them back.

This shoe was overall too large. I’ve worn a 9W in a Munro for decades but these were a non starter. Also, they looked very masculine though that may have been because they were so oversized.
